Charlie Kirk Hated Juneteenth Because Black People Got a Holiday

[00:00:05]Um I don't necessarily feel uh like it's appropriate for someone like me to say "Happy Juneteenth."

[00:00:15]Um although I do feel that it's a very important day to acknowledge and remember.

[00:00:24]Uh especially since it's something that I wasn't taught anything about in K through 12 public education or college up through and including a law degree.

[00:00:34]Uh for [snorts] years I just thought it was a big party or celebration that happened in Atlanta every year.

[00:00:45]But it's a very important day to acknowledge and remember.

[00:00:52]Uh I've seen a lot of people stitching a video of Charlie Kirk driving in his car uh apparently a couple of years ago on Juneteenth.

[00:01:08]And he was saying, "You're going to hear a lot of people say 'Happy Juneteenth' today."

[00:01:13]Uh and then he went on to say that Juneteenth should not be a federal holiday and that he was on his way to work.

[00:01:22]Charlie Kirk was an incredibly incredibly racist man.

[00:01:28]Uh was also extremely homophobic and transphobic uh to the point where it's like anytime I see a white guy who is that transphobic and homophobic yeah.

[00:01:48]But I think the most important thing to acknowledge about that video that Charlie Kirk made Charlie Kirk was self-employed.

[00:02:01]Charlie Kirk did not work for a company or have a boss uh that did not give their employees the day off for Juneteenth.

[00:02:13]He was self-employed.

[00:02:16]He was driving to work on Juneteenth.

[00:02:21]And he wasn't angry about the fact that he was being compelled to go to work on Juneteenth. He was going to work any anyway.

[00:02:31]He was angry that black people had a federal holiday.

[00:02:39]He was angry that there was a federal holiday that had something to do with black people.

[00:02:46]That's why he was angry on that day.

[00:02:50]Because That's right. Charlie Kirk was an unimaginably racist man.

[00:03:00]And was so homophobic and transphobic that it's always the ones that are that homophobic and transphobic like vocally and make videos about it that they post to social media that end up being That's right.

[00:04:04]Somebody was asking him a question about mass shooters or something.

[00:04:10]Uh, at the the event where he was shot and killed.

[00:04:15]They were asking a question about gun violence.

[00:04:18]Right before Charlie Kirk died to gun violence.

[00:04:23]And the last words out of his mouth were counting or not counting gang violence.

[00:04:33]He was talking about black people.

[00:04:37]The last words out of his mouth before he was shot and killed were words of racist hatred.

[00:05:18]Other than to say that Charlie Kirk was an incredibly racist man.

[00:05:23]And the last words that he spoke on this earth before getting shot in the neck and killed were words of racism and hatred.

[00:05:36]I think that is something that's important to recognize on Juneteenth.
