[00:00:00]My name is Patrick Cawley. I am the owner of Keystone Elder Law. We are located just outside of Harrisburg and we serve clients throughout central Pennsylvania and beyond. Before becoming the owner of Keystone Elder Law, I was legal counsel to the State Senate Judiciary Committee in our magnificent state Capitol building. The Judiciary Committee is where all of the legislation goes that deals with estate planning.

[00:00:27]While I was there, we were quite busy. I met with representatives of the banking industry and the insurance industry, the long-term care providers, the attorneys, and even the law enforcement community.

[00:00:40]We talked about problems that people are running into in Pennsylvania and we developed solutions. So, after all of those meetings and a lot of negotiations, I sat down and rewrote significant parts of the power of attorney law. I rewrote most of the healthcare power of attorney law. We did an awful lot of work on addressing financial exploitation of vulnerable older people.

[00:01:06]I am incredibly grateful to guide people at Keystone Elder Law through changes in health and family dynamics and finding solutions to these problems.
