[00:00:00]Hello, and welcome to today's daily devotional study. Today is Wednesday, the 22nd of April 2026.

[00:00:09]Our study guide, as always, is the Rhapsody of Realities daily devotional offered by the man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. I remind you daily that Jesus Christ is Lord, and he is king forever. And someday, very soon, as the scriptures declare, he would come back.

[00:00:41]First, he would appear in the sky, and we will be caught up to meet him, and forever we would be with him.

[00:00:51]Praise God. Let us say a word of prayer.

[00:00:55]Dear heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you.

[00:00:59]We thank you for your love, for your grace. Thank you for your word.

[00:01:04]Thank you for your spirit. Thank you for your life that you've given us. Thank you. Thank you.

[00:01:11]And right now, our hearts and our minds are open.

[00:01:14]We receive your word. We receive it gladly. We receive it with faith in our hearts. We are improved by your word. We are transformed by your word, in the name of Jesus.

[00:01:27]Amen.

[00:01:29]Praise the Lord.

[00:01:32]The title of today's article is the anointing of the Christ in you.

[00:01:40]And our theme scripture is taken from Acts chapter 10, verse 38.

[00:01:44]The Bible says, "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power." Hallelujah.

[00:01:53]Now, Pastor says, "In Christ, we are distinguished by faith, calling, gifts, grace, and office.

[00:02:05]Yet, it is the same anointing of the Holy Spirit that empowers us all."

[00:02:13]When you received the Holy Spirit, you were anointed with the anointing of the Christ.

[00:02:21]You don't need a different anointing or a greater one.

[00:02:25]The anointing you received is the very same anointing that made Jesus the Christ. It's the Holy Ghost himself.

[00:02:34]Hallelujah.

[00:02:36]Acts chapter 10, verse 38 reveals that the Lord Jesus was anointed with the Holy Ghost and with power.

[00:02:44]This expression doesn't imply two separate anointings.

[00:02:48]In the language of the prophets and the apostles, two phrases may be used to describe the same reality.

[00:02:56]To be anointed with the Holy Ghost is to be anointed with power. Hallelujah. In Acts chapter 1, verse 8, the Lord Jesus said, "You shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you."

[00:03:11]Power comes with the spirit.

[00:03:15]When the Holy Ghost came into you, you were endued with divine ability from on high.

[00:03:22]You were consecrated and separated unto God for his purpose.

[00:03:28]Through the spirit, you now understand the mysteries and realities of the kingdom.

[00:03:35]You see and understand life beyond human intellect and perspective because you possess the wisdom of the spirit.

[00:03:45]Hallelujah. Hallelujah. You're empowered to do the work of God and live the supernatural life.

[00:03:52]The same spirit teaches you, strengthens you, and equips you to walk in the glory and righteousness of Christ as you fulfill your calling in him.

[00:04:05]So, every day, walk in the consciousness of the divine presence and ability of the spirit at work in you. Praise the Lord.

[00:04:16]Hallelujah. This is a very, very important teaching.

[00:04:23]Pastor begins by telling us that we are distinguished in Christ by faith, by calling, by gifts, grace, and office, which means that uh faith, our calling, our gifts may be different.

[00:04:38]You see, um you might have a different calling from the next person, you know, close to you, but it is all by the same spirit.

[00:04:52]Our offices might be different. We might operate in different graces, you see, but all these are powered by one Holy Spirit.

[00:05:06]Glory to God.

[00:05:07]Which therefore means, if I were to function differently, if the grace upon my life were to be increased, because of grace can increase, I do not need another Holy Spirit.

[00:05:24]If I were to function in another office, but it's going to be by the same spirit. Glory to God.

[00:05:33]You know, some folks fall into the trap of thinking or wanting a different power, another power.

[00:05:47]No.

[00:05:48]That's why Pastor shows us that the Holy Ghost is the power. So, when you read in the scriptures that the Lord Jesus was anointed with the Holy Ghost and with power, it's referring to one and same thing.

[00:06:04]Praise God. So, he's not talking about he he was anointed with the Holy Ghost and then later anointed with power. No.

[00:06:12]That's why in Acts chapter 1, verse 8, it tells us that we receive power at the time that the Holy Ghost comes upon you.

[00:06:21]Glory to God. It says, "After that the Holy Ghost has come upon you." Remember, he was telling them ahead of time. So, he says, "When the spirit comes on you."

[00:06:30]That's what it means there when it says, "After that." Says, "When the spirit comes on you, you receive power."

[00:06:38]Glory to God forever. Hallelujah.

[00:06:40]Hallelujah. So, today, the spirit of God is at work in you. He's the one that strengthens you. He's the same spirit that teaches you. He's the same spirit that equips you to walk in the glory.

[00:06:55]He's the same spirit that enables you walk in righteousness. He's the same spirit, hallelujah, that causes you to do the supernatural, the same spirit.

[00:07:07]Glory to God. So, Pastor says, "Walk every day in the consciousness of the divine presence and ability of the spirit at work in you."

[00:07:17]>> [music] >> He's the one that reveals the mysteries of the kingdom. Oh, hallelujah. This is our advantage. The Holy Ghost in you is your advantage for everything, >> [music] >> for your health, for your job, for your finances, for your family. The same Holy Spirit will teach you. Praise God forever. Hallelujah. I'm anointed. Say, "I'm anointed." The anointing of Christ is in me. Praise God. Let us take the prayer together. Say, "Dear Father, thank you for anointing me with the Holy Spirit and with power.

[00:08:03]I walk in the consciousness of your presence and ability in me.

[00:08:11]I'm empowered to fulfill my calling and function in the fullness of your grace, producing results that bring you glory in Jesus' name.

[00:08:27]Amen.

[00:08:28]Glory. Glory. Hallelujah.

[00:08:57]And I'll start with Acts chapter 1, verse 8. I'm reading from the Amplified Classic. The Bible says, "But you shall receive power, ability, efficiency, and might when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends, the very bounds of the earth." Amen.

[00:09:24]Luke 24, verse 49, the Bible says, "And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you, but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem until ye be endued with power from on high." Amen. And the moment the Holy Spirit came, he remained with us. Praise God.

[00:09:42]1 John chapter 2, verse 27. The Bible says, "But the anointing which you have received of him abideth in you, and you need not that any man teach you, but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth." Hallelujah. "And is no lie." Hallelujah. And even as it had taught you, you shall >> [music] >> abide in him. Amen.

[00:10:08]At this point, I want to take a moment to say a word of blessing upon your life and upon your day in the name of Jesus. I declare by the power of the Holy Ghost that you have successful outcomes today >> [music] >> in the name of Jesus. Successful outcomes in all your dealings in the name of Jesus. Everything working together for your advantage by the power of the Holy Ghost.

[00:11:06]Praise God. If you're not born again, this is a moment that you've been waiting for where you can receive [clears throat] into your heart the person of Jesus Christ, hallelujah. And it would make everything beautiful in your life. It'd give you the assurance, the hope for tomorrow, strength for today, hallelujah. And you'd live a glorious life in him. So, I'm going to lead you right now in the prayer of salvation.

[00:11:38]Say this prayer meaning from the bottom of your heart.

[00:11:41]God will hear you and you will be saved.

[00:11:44]Amen.

[00:11:46]Oh, Lord God, I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, son of the living God.

[00:11:58]I believe you died for me and God raised him from the dead.

[00:12:05]I believe he's alive today.

[00:12:08]I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day.

[00:12:18]Through him and in his name, I have eternal life.

[00:12:26]I'm born again.

[00:12:28]Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul.

[00:12:32]I'm now a child of God.

[00:12:36]Hallelujah.
