ASCENDED HEROS SIR!!! I Can't Believe It!

[00:00:00]Welcome back to another episode of the Pokedex binder series. Of course, the Pokedex is now completely full, 1,025 out of 1,025 and we are well and truly in upgrade season and where better to try and find some upgrades than a ascended heroes booster bundle. Now, this is that phase of the Pokedex binder, if you're new or have joined recently, where we're going to be upgrading common cards up to higher rarity cards cuz in the past where we've opened up packs, every card could count towards the Pokedex. So, there's a lot that need upgrading and uh especially at card shows, that's going to be the main goal. Now, I am going to open up uh these ascended heroes as well as we'll go for two random packs. It's probably slightly off camera there from the random box. So, we'll have eight packs in total. So, let's get into pack number one. It has felt like it's ages since I last did a pack opening. We've had London card show, London card show part two, multiple other videos since then as well as a trade uh trade night POV as well. So, there's plenty of content on the channel that has been uh coming out.

[00:01:40]So, this is a [music] dupe, but still what a sick artwork that is. I love the I love I really enjoy the Ethan's [music] um series of illustrations like Ethan's Typhlosion as well. Very cool, very off-center, but a fantastic illustration nonetheless. At the very back or in the second slot, should I say, is Swirlix and at the very back is a colossal uh energy and your code card. That's a very good start. Illustration rare straight off the bat, you love to see it. Like it's financially just absurd to keep going um opening packs like twice a week. Uh but I'll be sort of dropping in other videos here and there in between. So, right now, we'll go to weekly unless there's other types of videos that I'll bring out. So, main probably mainly a Monday uh but yeah, it makes the most sense. A Charmander.

Still, very cool amount of detail in these trainers like with those line works there all being like slightly raised, it looks very cool. Okay, halfway through and then we're going to open up two packs like I said from the random box as well.

[00:04:54]So, I did manage to get multiple uh bundles cuz these are from the Pokémon Center. So, I did manage to get multiple bundles of these. So, we've got more that we could open. Um again, I'm just going to space them out here and there cuz we've got Chaos Rising coming out as well. You know, I'll take my time, stagger the kind of releases like Pokémon did, I guess. Togepi.

[00:05:48]I was thinking about card shows cuz I was thinking about how much more like financially efficient it is now that the binder is full to just go [music] after like specific hits. Now, I don't want to I still want to keep up my weekly routine of like releasing a video, but it makes If you're doing something similar to this, don't just rip packs.

[00:06:05]It's It's just go buy the hits. Like it makes so much more [music] sense. I do this for entertainment's sake um as well as my own sake, probably. But it makes so much more sense just to go to like a card show or card shop if you can and pick up the hits from there.

I love the artwork. The artwork is always the most important thing. And then also this is like I do things on in this channel on a budget like the card shops uh sorry, the card shows are a hundred pound budget every time. Like we never buy anything crazy, crazy big or anything like that.

[00:09:04]And now I I've always thought what would happen if I pulled this card or pulled a card of like that crazy value and what would I do with it? And like I'm looking at that thinking, what do I do? Do I fund, you know, if it sells for a thousand pounds, do I sell it for ten more card shows worth of budget? Do I, you know, I would I would also quite like to get another lens for my camera.

[00:09:27]Like there's loads of things like that and I'm like is it best to you know, crack on and sell it and make the money to put the money towards something else? Like I just I can't believe it. That's where my >> [music] >> my head is at right now.
