This video demonstrates various equestrian training techniques including dressage fundamentals (half-halts, outside rein control, and rider position), cross-country jumping instruction, and horse behavior management. The content illustrates how different horses respond to training based on their temperament and experience level, with some horses like Ken showing initial resistance before becoming responsive, while others like Kylie demonstrate natural athletic ability. The video emphasizes that successful horse training requires patience, understanding of individual horse characteristics, and consistent positive reinforcement techniques.

CHAOS AT THE RIVER! Weekend away with the ponies!Added:
Coming up in today's vlog, we go on a crazy hack and river ride. There were too many falls to count and lots and lots of bucking and bronking and zoomies. Then I ride the dreamiest dressage horse ever, Ken, who is a big popcorn. He is absolutely beautiful. I then teach a polo pony how to jump called Tomato. And then we stay at my gorgeous friend Louisa's house, which is incredible. We have the cat room tour of dreams.
I basically have the best weekend ever.
But first stop, let's head to the river ride and get cracking with the carnage.
So we're at a little lodge at farm now and we're just tacking up to get ready to go on a ride. It is absolutely boiling today.
It is proper summer now. It's hit May and the summer's turned the the weather's turned like this. It's so hot.
But I'm riding the lovely Kylie today.
Kylie Jenner? Kylie Jenner.
She's very exciting, little show jumping queen.
You're a good girl, aren't you Kylie?
And we are at this gorgeous place called Little Lodge Farm.
And you can actually stay and do little holidays in those little lodges.
Uh we're not staying cuz we're staying at Louisa's.
Um Oh, they've got the ice cream van over there.
And then they've got this gorgeous river.
Hi.
This is my pony, Nutella.
Talking to myself.
>> [laughter] >> Um so yeah, this is who I'm going to be riding.
Now Louisa, Yeah.
is she safe?
>> She is. She's really lovely. Just really kind.
>> No, she's not too fast. Where's my knee roll? No, you're in a pet You've got You've got to going to have two reins.
>> What is this? You've got full on polo tack. Not riding with one hand, neck reining. To go faster, put your hand up the neck. To stop, just put it down.
What are you doing to me?
>> She's push button.
And then this is is this tomato? This is tomato.
Say yeah.
Pony. Aw, she's a bit spicy. Yeah.
I don't want that one. The brief was Like Slow.
I want to be at the back.
Um so yeah, and then we're going to go out on an amazing ride in the forest, which is meant to be incredible and it's all sandy tracks and amazing. Um and then we're going to go and swim in the river after. So we've got our our little entrance here.
And you can see there's lots of horses up there.
Um already going in. So yeah, going to cool down in there after.
And we come a little bit prepared today.
I bought the Crocs, but we didn't bring the towels. Did we? You Yeah, you've got Holland's Crocs on.
Are you excited? Yep. You're going to be riding Rolo and hopefully he's a good boy.
Don't go in. We've got no spare socks.
And then we've got Rolo here who Holland's going to be riding, who's absolutely loving having a bit of a pre-ride snack. And then this is Cherry who is Louise's daughter's pony, Clemmy.
You excited to ride Kylie? I'm very excited.
She's about the same height as Popcorn.
She's like Popcorn size. Is there jumps on this or you don't know, do you?
You've never been? Um there's cross country jumps.
>> Oh, nice. You can [snorts] have a go, Mom? Um if there's any little logs, I might. I'll see how I'm feeling. I've got no knee roll.
No, no, no, you don't want me in there.
Ah. There you go, mate. We love you so much. Have an ice cream before you ride.
Look at him.
What's wrong with just eating that direction, darling?
He's got advance in his pants, isn't he?
Do you have a nice little ice cream before we go out? Yeah.
Good? Yeah.
>> This is the life, isn't it?
This is what you call a holiday. Yeah.
Better than Dubai? Yeah. Okay, so Rollo's flabbergasted at the swan.
Yo, swan, do you want some of my ice cream?
Rollo's never seen a swan before.
Exactly.
Want my ice cream? No, don't chuck it in, Harlan. Don't chuck it in. Well, I said you want my ice cream. No, don't don't do do I'm selling him £2.50 for this whop whipper whipper ice cream.
>> No, you're not giving him the ice cream.
Rollo's revved.
Yeah.
>> [music] >> Revvy Rollo.
Isn't that right, Harlan?
Yeah.
Good [music] job.
All right, follow me.
And feed this.
We do these.
Come on, follow us.
Oh, sit up.
Bro, come on, Rollo.
Rollo.
He's a He's a bit jealous.
Sit up, Harland. That's it. Good [music] job.
Shorten your reins, Harland. Shorten your reins.
Sit up. That's it. Sit back, Lemmy. Sit back. SIT BACK, HARLAND.
THAT'S IT. GOOD JOB, HARLAND.
Half halt, Lemmy.
Half halt, HARLAND.
THAT'S IT, HARLAND.
COME ON, MOM.
SHE WILL GO FASTER.
THAT'S IT. GOOD JOB, HARLAND. Jock Just lean forward a bit, Harland. Go jockey position.
SIT BACK, HARLAND. HALF HALT. GIVE him a big half halt now. FULL FULL HALT.
WELL DONE, HARLAND.
GOOD JOB. OH, this Batmobile is absolutely The Batmobile is on it.
Good job, Harland. Give him a big pat.
He was a good boy, wasn't he? Yeah.
Harland, steady.
No faster than that. Oh, he's looking at birds?
She just did a massive bark. What she doing? Yeah. All right, Jasper.
Oh.
Good girl.
Good boy.
Good girl, Kylie.
>> You can drink it. Good girl.
Good girl.
Good girl.
Muffy, Muffy are wet. Good girl.
Yeah, Muffy are wet.
Good girl.
She was so good.
Good girl, Nutella.
Good girl.
Nutella was so calm. I can't believe she didn't chase your one.
Hello.
Hello.
>> Right, this is a really tight corner to pass.
A really low bridge.
What do you mean? OH MY GOD, LOUISA.
Just just Yeah, you'll be fine.
Good girl.
This is why we wear helmets.
Come on, Chelsea. You'll be fine.
Look, look, look, look.
There's an animal over there.
Look.
What is that?
That was amazing.
Right, are we ready for the river?
Rolo knows he's going in it.
Go on, Chelsea. Rolo, you're a good girl.
Rolo actually is quite frightened.
Good girl, Kylie. Oh, she's thirsty.
Hollin, try it now. They're all in.
>> [laughter] >> Good girl, Hollin, yeah. It's cold, though.
That's it. Can you get him in Hollin?
Get him OVER TO YOU.
IT'S GENTLE SPLASHING.
HOLLIN, CAN YOU WALK ON THEN?
OH MY GOD, IT'S FREEZING.
I'M NOT SURE.
>> YEAH.
Good boys and girls.
OH, NO.
NO, IT'S NOT THE HAT.
NOT THE HAT.
BYE, MOM.
>> [applause] >> LOOK at Kylie. Can I jump in?
Mom.
I got to go with them. I can't. You're going to get on Rolo? I got to GO WITH THEM.
CHERRY WILL START SWIMMING.
WOW, this is so deep. So calm.
>> Katie!
She's swimming!
Oh!
Oh, no!
She's a Hollin jump!
And she fell off. Yeah.
Ooh, Clemmy's been falling.
IT WENT STRAIGHT FOR THE GRASS.
CLEMMY, NO!
CLEMMY JUST ROLLED OFF THE BACK.
THE VERTICAL BANK, HE TRIED to climb it.
He tried to go up the bank. Yeah, the vertical bank.
>> The vertical bank, he tried to climb it.
He's a nutcase. His hobby is rock climbing, this one. He's really young.
Come on, mate. He's a crazy boy.
Hollin, should we go to the other side?
Hollin, should we go to that side? Yeah.
Oh my god, I have to like do the splits to get this horse moving. Right.
You going back in, Louise, or not? Let's go gear two. Whoa, whoa. I swear if this if this horse even shots on me. All I have to do IS STAY STRAIGHT.
OH, I'M GOING TO FALL IN THERE NOW.
>> NO.
OH.
OH, AMELIA.
NO.
I REALLY THOUGHT THAT WAS going to go.
OH, NO, NO, NO.
NECK, YOU NEED TO USE YOUR NECK. I CAN'T.
OH, my god.
Oh.
Oh, my god.
Oh, my god.
Oh, my god.
I'm chilling up here.
You're chilling. Oh, things keep popping in my head.
I've I've never been on the horse before.
You can do I have.
Go on, HOLLY.
CHERRY'S GOING FOR IT.
WOO.
YAY, WE DID IT. LET'S DO IT AGAIN.
>> [laughter] >> NO, LET'S NOT DO IT AGAIN. THAT WAS STRESSFUL. OH, my gosh. I'm so hyped.
I'm so hyped.
>> think I can get off now. You've got weeds on your foot, Holly.
Look at your other foot. Oh.
Holly's so good. Isn't she?
>> to do you want to go in the water again?
So, today you guys, I'm going to take Clemy and her friend Aspen around the estate. We're going to have a a nice little little canter around. There's a few little cross country jumps as well that we're going to do. I'm on Tomato today, who actually did go yesterday, but she is incredible. She's a multi-talented pony. Polo pony. Polo pony. This is my first time riding her, actually. So, hopefully she's a good girl. She gets quite excited, and she's quite strong.
So, we've got a really, really busy day today, and I'm actually going to ride quite a few ponies today. So, we're going to head out this morning for our first ride of the day. And I did also give Clemmy a lesson this morning on Cherry, too, which was loads of fun.
Cherry was definitely very, very tired from yesterday.
>> Rolo's not tired.
>> Rolo's not tired. Rolo's revved. He's ready to go. Hopefully, he's going to be a good boy cuz Clemmy's riding him today. So, best behavior.
>> Hollin is swimming with Clemmy's older sister, Indie.
Having a great time. Right, you ready to go?
We're going to go Oh, we're going to go this way.
Oh, Ollie.
Good boy, Rolo.
All right, you want to have a little trot through here?
>> [music] >> Very pretty, isn't it?
Oh.
We missed the turning.
>> [music] [music] >> Good girl, Tomato.
Good girl.
Yes, Tomato.
Oh, look at that.
>> [crying] >> Oh, yeah.
Careful.
One, two.
Yes. What was that?
I think that's 8K.
Yes, Tomato.
Good.
Good girl.
Good.
Ooh, that was a good one.
Good girl.
So, we finished riding Tomato now. She was absolutely incredible. Um one of Louise's, well, Louise's oldest daughter, Dixie, is doing her GCSEs, and she needed to get a video of her jumping above 75 for her GCSEs. With Yeah.
>> And one of Well, Dixie's pony is actually in Dubai right now.
Um so, she had no pony here to jump at all. So, we thought why not Smart Ace? I I took her around and we did the cross country jumps and she was amazing. And I did the big ones on her not realizing that she'd never done the big ones before. [laughter] But she was so good.
Then you took her to the show jumps.
>> took her to the show jumps and she started off a bit rusty, didn't she? And then once she got into it she was pinging. She was incredible. And Dixie jumped quite well on her. She jumped like a meter and she finished on. And she jumped incredible. Her back end is insane over big jumps.
>> first go, so >> go, she was so good.
>> She's seven, isn't she? But she's only ever done polo. I know.
So, yeah, first time jumping today and she was amazing. And now Popcorn is going to have >> It's Hoffmag. a little session on Louisa's very, very fancy Hoffmag.
Uh which is going to be amazing for Popcorn. As you guys know, he had his little injury on the back of his leg.
So, yeah, while we're here Okay, this is Jessie.
Oh, one of your group studying veterinary video. Yes. So, she's going to give Popcorn the once over, treat him with a Hoffmag. He's having his luxurious spa weekend.
Oh, yeah. We've all come for a holiday here.
I don't Has he ever been Hoffmag before?
No, I've never seen it in the flesh. So, I love it. I bought one because I was using it on all the horses every month and it was costing me a fortune and I thought actually long term it's cheaper to buy a machine. Buy my own. I've got so many horses. Did you take that Hoffmag to Dubai? Yeah.
>> And you brought it back?
>> Yeah. Oh, how did you do that?
>> Hoffmag. It's a pain as well because of the battery. [laughter] Did you put it on the on the flight?
>> guy. Oh.
>> put three air tags in the box with it.
>> I bet you did. Yeah.
>> it every day.
>> I would be worried about shipping that.
I drive this guy nuts. I'm like, "I The Hoff [laughter] mag. It's like the crown jewels.
Wait. Oh my god, I'm going to want one.
Really?
Wait. Oh my god, I'm going to want one.
Oh, yeah.
I am achy today. [laughter] Really?
Are you joking? Oh, you're selling it.
You are selling it.
Oh, yes. So, Popcorn has he got a bit of um Um not Well, hopefully it's not going to scar, but where the bandage has rubbed him.
And then this is how his little cut is looking. It's completely scabbed over, but um yeah, he's had his little wind re-bless him, but he's doing amazing.
He's back in work now.
Such a good boy.
>> [snorts] >> particularly on this left side.
Oh my gosh.
and in the treatment you're going to focus on. So, we're going to focus on that there, and then we bring it back.
And he's really really reactive here.
Really reactive. We'll just turn that down a little bit for him.
Cuz it goes up to 13. This is only on four, so actually it's quite >> to bring the lorry load next time.
And here he's really tight. In his glutes, yeah.
>> He's really tight in his glutes. He gets really tight in his hamstrings, the physio says. Yeah.
What about on this side?
So, it's really firm. What about the tightness in the neck? Let's see.
These glutes right here. I wonder what it's like over his um back of his leg where his little injury was.
We can see. We'll put a smaller hoop on to do that. Yeah. We'll run it with that one, and then we'll focus on the legs as different size hoops.
So, we then get So, if you've got a bit of one that's maybe sticking their tongue out, doing dressage, or something, you can do the poll up here, and then the all the the jaw with it.
Oh, he hasn't got any reaction there.
No.
Try this up his neck as well when we got the big hoop on.
Not tight in the neck, is he? A little bit actually, and then into the shoulder.
Oh my goodness.
He's good for 20, isn't he? Yeah, he's 20. He's 20. He's not reactive through here.
>> What's his um What's his like forelimbs like when you're riding him? Like how does he feel? Cuz this muscle here is the brachiocephalicus, so it's It functions like obviously to bend the neck as well, but when Oh, he's bendy. When they're struggling, they'll use this muscle to pull their like limb forward instead sometimes, so this might be why he's a little bit He's quite flicky. Flicky, yeah.
Do you know what our physio says when she treats him? She said this is our best one. Really? Never has any niggles or pains.
>> been >> He's never been injected, nothing.
Really? No, yeah.
He's like I had a pony like that. I had him for 15 years. Same size as 13 2.
Never had anything. Didn't see a vet till the day he died. And he had a little bit He had arthritis in his knees in the end and then the vet was like, you know, it's time to say goodbye.
And you know, what? I said she just says, you know, they just don't make them like this anymore. No, well, they're all so flimsy and weak. in his legs here. Yeah.
Oh, he's enjoying this. He's having a little sleep. He's growling. His nostrils are flaring.
Of course, he's going to be feeling good for his dressage lesson in a bit isn't it after lunch? He's got good legs. And what we'll do is we'll put the heat pad on his back before as well riding. Oh, he's having the works.
I always We always now put the heat pad and the massage heat pad on all the horses' backs before they're ridden.
Really? Yeah.
To warm them up. To be fair, ours are in the solarium every time, aren't they?
>> they're warming up. And we've also got the Equissage, which is really nice.
>> That's what we do. We just use the Or is it Equilibrium I have? Whatever that one was saying.
He's all right through that.
>> [snorts] >> I think they're going to be a bit less reactive on their lower legs as well cuz there's just not as much muscle. So, where you'd see it up in his lumbar as it'll be his muscles. So, Popcorn's had his lovely massage and we're going to have a dressage lesson now. We're going to run through a dressage test um and you know, work on some little tweaks that we need to fix. Um and then after Louisa is going to have a go on Popcorn and then I'm going to have a go on Ken.
So, we're going to be doing the Palomino pony swap. Yeah, so Ken is basically a huge Popcorn. He's massive. He's like 16 2.
>> And he is incredible.
He's phenomenal.
Yeah, we would love to steal him. We would love to steal him.
>> We'd love to put him in our box, wouldn't we? Yeah.
>> And take him home.
Look at that four-lock popcorn. What an achievement. He's come back.
>> milestone.
It is, yeah. So, I'm actually having a lesson with Louisa's friend who's a grand prix dressage rider and she's ridden at a lot of really big shows. So, she's going to help me on a lot of the things I need to work on. I didn't actually forget my dressage tack cuz I didn't think I was having a lesson. Um so, we are just riding in the the jump tack today, but I have actually got Popcorn's dressage bit which is quite handy. Oh, yeah, that's handy.
It's not the saddle, but a saddle's a saddle.
Oh, he's so cute.
His squishy nose.
Um so, yeah. Should we get in there?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah. So, um Harlow and Louisa We're in a semi-straight line.
Harlow and Louisa set up these dressage boards because um to make sure the arena is like the perfect size for uh the test so she can practice it properly.
Um so, got these boards so you've got a The arena is a little a little bit too wide so um they've just narrowed it in and everything.
So, yeah. Hopefully, he's going to be a good boy.
My phone is going crazy.
He's giving it to you a lot. Yeah, so think about bringing your hands a little bit more here rather than over there. I want you to think about keeping your elbow and having a bit more softness in your right elbow.
Better.
Yeah, good. Better there. How's that feel there? Much softer. Yeah. And then the walk trot.
And if you still like you need a bit more right bend because then when you feel like you need more right bend, you're inclined to take the right hand across his neck. Yeah. That means you need more right leg. And the same thing in the canter.
Think about the weight that you have in that left rein, but with right flexion.
Because then he'll come up through the outside shoulder, rather than lean on the outside shoulder.
Good. Then ride a circle, BUT THINK ABOUT THAT CIRCLE TURNING FROM YOUR OUTSIDE SLOW LEG. RUMBLE. HOLD ON. HOLD ON.
SORRY ABOUT THAT.
>> [laughter] >> HE'S NOT QUITE TRAINED. HE'LL HAVE A BIT MORE IMPULSION.
That seems to be a thing. Harley keeps getting chased by dogs.
>> Oh, he's just having a wee.
That's good.
Just expression.
More encouragement.
>> [laughter] >> There's a white one.
Good.
Think about that outside rein being more important than your inside rein. The inside rein just gives you flexion.
Yeah, and then quick with the leg.
So, this is beautiful Ken who Harley's going to ride.
She's just having her lesson now.
We'll get some clips in a sec, but I just can't couldn't wait to show the Kendal.
The Kendal. The Kendal. Oh my gosh.
I need to find a show jumping version of this.
You're just amazing. I'm so excited to see Harley on you.
Oh, is that a poo stain on the side of his face? Yeah.
Oh, I thought it's coloring.
Ken, are you amazing?
And then we've got Oreo here.
Oreo.
He's also amazing.
Okay, not wanting to put his head up.
But gorgeous dapple with like a really dark mane. But it's quite a long mane as well. Oreo.
Not interested.
Of course Rollo's looking in the background.
So guys, this is Kendall.
Like Ken as in the Barbie Ken and then doll like as in the Ken doll.
It's Kendall, wasn't it? Kendall.
Yeah. Yeah. Well, I call him Kendall.
His official name which I actually changed is Flawless Ken.
So it's just still Ken. Still Ken though, but his he didn't have Ken in his name before. Did you?
He's absolutely beautiful. He's a little bit of a baby, isn't he? He's only six.
>> Yeah, he's just turned six. Oh my goodness.
Uh he's just turned six.
He's still um like novice prelim level.
Prelim novice. I said that the wrong way around. So he's still very He's still quite baby to be honest.
>> Taking your time. I am. I wanted one that just take my time with, put my own stamp on.
So we're still learning, but he's good.
He does He's He does a nice test. He always scores quite well. He's not the flashiest horse.
But he He is gorgeous. He's beautiful and He does and he's quite correct. So that makes up for it. Doesn't it? He's absolutely gorgeous.
>> just the best person.
>> Lemieux needs to get onto him for modeling.
They should. Right. I'll put in a good word. He needs to be in their catalog.
So not only is Ken a Barbie but he's also got a Barbie saddle.
Oh yes.
>> So she had a saddle custom made for him that is pink Smartly.
Have you ever seen something like this in your life?
Wow.
Wow.
He's so soft. I haven't ridden a dress horse since the last time I came here.
>> [laughter] >> This is like a recurring theme. Year ago. Yeah.
And Re Re?
Right.
So, what we do is we'll run through your test on him.
>> Yep. Thank you. We'll get it ingrained in that brain. How do they feel? Not too sure. Or too long? A bit too long. Too long.
Little legs.
Just up one, please. His mate His I feel like I'm on Popcorn. He's The neck is And the hair?
The same. The same. The coat color, the same.
The width the same. He's like Popcorn's daddy. Oh, you didn't get to ride Popcorn. Oh, yeah.
>> You can ride him tomorrow.
>> All right then.
What What does it look like?
Like Popcorn. Does it actually?
Oh, wow.
What does it feel like?
He's insane. He's got the most like I'm getting like a summer kick with this walk.
He's got a good walk.
Oh, he's got a nice canter. Really comfy >> a nice break.
His trots that The hardest thing on him is the trot work and keeping him round.
Sit.
Be quick with your outside leg. Little tuck tuck to keep to activate the canter a bit more. That's it. Less collected, more working.
Especially in the prelim.
Sit.
And do a circle.
Sit. Keep that outside rein.
Little bit with your outside leg. Just tick tick on the side.
Get him bouncing. There.
Now do a medium down that. Let him open up a bit. Push forward with your seat.
Push your hand slightly forward. Go on.
Go for a gallop.
My god.
Hopefully I make it look easy riding him. He just like locks his jaw on you.
Yeah, he's quite um he's quite tricky.
Um right. Go on the other rein. Try and give him more rein. Instead of trying to get him round, almost keep a contact but like throw the rein at him a bit more.
So he has to not lean on you. Like if he's leaning on you, don't let him. Give him the rein more. But keep your hands light. See that? Yeah.
Because what you're doing is where you're desperately trying to get him round, he's fighting you. Yeah.
>> You don't give any fight, he's got nothing to go against. And now he's in a nice shape.
That's it.
Now do a 10 m circle at H.
Lift your inside hand up slightly.
There. Look round. Bend your body. Turn your body.
Whoa. You're all right. There.
Nice.
>> Cool. That felt like I was trying to get a a ship into the box.
>> Now do another 10 m at M.
That's it. That's nice. And push forward.
That's it. Go straight up to B.
Then do a 20 m circle at B.
Turn your body.
That's it.
Yeah. Back down, is it?
And then before you get to B, go back into trot. Whoa.
And trot. Push that trot.
There.
And go down to E.
Do 20 m at E.
Lovely. Do you feel better now? Yeah.
See, now you've got him. Yeah.
And there's a lot of playing.
Ken says no.
There's a lot of playing with her.
He just won't listen [laughter] to my outside leg.
Who's stuck? Ken.
Ken.
We're going to go back.
Oh, no.
>> [laughter] >> Kenneth.
>> [laughter] >> Ken says I will now exit the arena.
Right.
Ken.
Look at him. He's giving me the side eye. He's I don't want to work for a test. Right. That's it. And then come up the center line at A.
See track right and R 15 m.
You got You got the hang of him now?
>> I have. Straight.
>> Cuz he's wobbly.
>> Yeah, well, he's still only so he's You've got to really support him.
He's not unfortunately perfectly schooled yet. Sit. Look up. Lift your inside hand. Look where you're going.
That's it. Now keep that bend and circle right. Circle now 15 m. No, Ken. This way.
Sit. Lift your inside hand up.
And then at E 20-m circle again.
Good girl.
Set. Push forward.
And then before you get to A, that's it.
Good girl. Before you get to E, trot.
Ooh. That's it. Trot to V. Halt.
Immobility. Salute. Keep pushing that trot.
And think now going to walk and Perfect.
Good boy. It's not that bad once you've ridden it a few times. No.
Let's [snorts] give him a nice long rein. Do some long diagonals.
I've got the hang of him now. Are you You kept him round the whole time? Yeah.
He's tricky at first. He tests you.
Yeah. And it feels like he's pulling your shoulders out. Yeah. That's my back.
But then once you get him, he's easier.
Yeah. really well.
No, he was really good boy. end he just thought, right, I've got to just got to do what she says now. Yeah.
He thought, I'm getting a bit tired. And then after half an hour, he gives in and he stays round, but it does take half an hour. It does. Okay, so Kent was absolutely incredible and we were just joking around. I was like, "Oh, can Kent jump?" And Louisa said, "Oh, I've never tried. Why don't you try him over a cross pole?"
So, now because Louisa doesn't jump.
She's a dressage girl through and through. Like she doesn't jump at all.
Clemmy has also jumped, so that's why she's got these amazing jumps. So, we're going to try.
Not get that big. I don't know why the cross pole's gone up to about 1.60 m.
I don't know if he's ever been ridden in here before.
Probably not. Probably not.
He looks confused.
I'm confused.
You can be a good boy, Ken. I thought we'd work up to a pole, then a little raised pole, then a cross pole. Cuz I just want him to see it cuz he's probably never ever jumped in his life.
No, never.
Apparently, he's got Welsh in him.
Popcorn.
He's taking all my boxes.
Whoa.
Ken.
Whoa.
Good boy. Okay, he's a bit horse shy, guys. Just Yeah, he's a bit scared of other horses.
This is like a >> [panting] >> Ken's going to be like, "What the hell are you doing? You put me in here in a grass field with ponies running around like nutters. I do not like it."
Good boy.
Good boy. That was good.
He is not keen at all on those fillers.
He's not Oh.
Girls, stop.
Now, he's That's it, girls. Stop cuz he'll bolt.
Girls, stop.
Please, stop.
Just Just walk. Just stay where you are.
He He might bolt and have you off.
Really? Yeah, I wouldn't try it. To be honest. Maybe not. Um cuz he's quite sharp.
Lovely movement, but I think uh It's a no. It's a no for now cuz we don't want you to You know, he's very beautiful, Ken, but he's still a baby that needs to see the world a bit more, aren't you? I mean, that was amazing.
>> the prancing. Well, now you know. And I loved the snorting.
>> Yeah.
You know You know he's not a show jumper. He's a no. No.
>> he likes the white boards. He likes the arena. Don't you, my little king? Bless him. He He found it quite over-stimulating with the little two ponies dollying around. He also, do you know, he's a little bit horse shy. Even in the warm-up, he doesn't like the horses coming towards him.
Something that we need to work on. He's still quite babyish.
>> Did you have those moments with you in the warm-ups? No, not that bad.
>> [laughter] >> Is that the worst he's been?
He's not bad though, is he? He's not bad. He's just unsure. He's just He just needs to reassure.
>> it was definitely sure when he was piaffing down there.
>> [laughter] >> And he has He has been learning to piaffe.
I can tell. His It came out a bit.
He's like, "Okay, I can do it when I'm under saddle."
>> see now, you can keep him consistently round. Yes. Yeah, he just needs that little start and like, "Oh, look at his little my eye.
He's thinking, "What are those ponies? I do not like those ponies." I I've never ridden him out here in this field, so you are quite brave or stupid.
I'm not sure which one it is. Hey, you're my dog.
Good boy.
Come on then. I bet he would have actually gone nuts after the jump. Yeah.
Yeah, he probably I like he probably would have bucked quite a bit cuz he does buck sometimes.
And he's And he's quite sharp.
So, like on hacks, I mean, he hacks now, but when I first got him, they didn't really hack him that much.
Bless him. Hey, you're just a baby.
Do you know what? To handle he's like a dog and to ride he can be a bit lazy.
Yeah.
>> But then in other situations, he does um Oh, we're going backwards. He does get a bit eggy. Right, I'm going to get off before >> You get I'll put him away. I'll leave you with the kids. Yeah. Harlow's lessons are back.
Okay, was that so exciting? boy.
>> He was like, "Wow."
>> He did not like He looked really good though. Did you get it on camera?
He looked really nice.
That just shows the potential.
>> [laughter] >> I've just unlocked a new era.
>> Yeah.
Right. Harley, give me your last one.
>> you ever seen him go like that before?
No. Never seen that. Have you ever seen dragon mode activated? No. And dragon mode was activated then. He's too pretty for dragon mode. You haven't heard the snorting like that. No. You have not.
I'VE NEVER NEVER HEARD IT.
>> SO, what are we doing? So, we taught your pony pony how to jump. I've unlocked some new potential in Ken.
>> Yeah. Let's go back to sleep now though.
Is that I'm over my snorting.
>> Activated dragon mode. Activated dragon mode. And taught Polo pony how to jump.
Need to come more often.
Hey. Doesn't she? So guys, I'm going to be giving Clemmie and her friend Aspen a little lesson. So, Clemmie's just got a new pony called Kylie who actually used to do a lot of show jumping. That's what I rode yesterday on the ride. And Kylie used to be a top track 138 pony, but she is 17 now and she's decided that she no longer wants to be a top track pony. So, now she's cantering around a field having the best time of her life. And then we've got Cherry up in front with Aspen riding.
And I'm going to have a little lesson.
That's it. So, half halt around that corner. Look up. Two, three. Lovely.
Remember Clemmie, when you're going over the jumps, so just stand up in your stirrups with your arms down here, okay?
There we go. Bend your elbows, Aspen.
Look up. Remember to twerk. Two, three.
Lovely. That's it. And then come, Clemmie. Bend your elbows. Bend your elbows.
That's it. Remember to twerk. One, two, three, four. Lovely. Good twerking.
Steady.
Lovely. Walk, collision.
Steady. Right, just shorten your reins a little bit. Remember to keep your reins nice and short, Clemmie, because otherwise Kylie just gets a little bit quick.
Okay, good. Good, Aspen. Right, look up and look at your feet now.
Look up. 1 2 3 4 twerk. Lovely. 2 3.
Lovely. Really nice.
Really nice. Right, keep coming, Clemmy.
Bend your elbows. Keep those elbows bent. Right here and then keep your wrists relaxed. There we go.
1 2 3. Remember to twerk.
Oh my god. Sit up.
This is carnage. Okay, right.
Now sit up tall.
Lovely. 1 Really nice. Now come to your pink. Use that corner, Aspen. Leg on. Leg on. Leg on. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go.
Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go.
Half halt. Look where you're going. Keep that leg there to support her. Hands up.
Really nice.
So guys, we're in Louise's tack room now. Aspen's gone home and because Louise's tack room is so iconic, I think it's only right if you have a little tack room tour. Louise's like Yeah, for those that don't see it.
>> I'm I'm embarrassed. Louise's Louise's tack room is shocking.
It's like a bomb has hit it. We have to hit all those like hit all three. Oh, the lights are going on. The fancy lights.
Tada.
Tada. Even the saddle pads aren't on properly. Oh, yeah, she's embarrassed.
But if you want to get if you want the glossy tour, you got to go on Louise's Instagram. Louise's is more of a question. For the gloss. For the glossy brand new tour. Yes. But could you please talk firstly about how incredible these boots are?
May I add with the matching spurs.

I have a lot of hats, but I do like a boot. Really? Harley, new boot day or hat day?
New boot day.

>> Yeah. Do you know what I want? The blue suede De Niro. Have you seen them? No.
Really nice.
Really nice. And then you can >> All of your boots are quite funky, aren't they? Oh, let's have a little boot tour. Yeah, so these are just from So, these are just gray and pink. They look like brown. Like What I know. So, that's why I'm thinking I probably have an excuse to buy another pair.
>> another pair of proper gray. But they're they are meant to be gray and pink.
That's the reason. I ride in these a lot. I've just ridden them, so they're They're cool.
>> These are very cool.
And they're matching spurs.
They're very cool, aren't they? I love these. Do you know I love the kind of like old like this love heart brogue shape and all this detail.

We're also new very rich, but >> [laughter] >> And then this is just kids >> I don't think these are giving old money at all, do you? No, that's definitely They're definitely not. And then what else have we got? I'm in You know my tack room's not very full at the moment because everything's in Dubai.
But this is the bonnet drawer. All the bonnets. That's all the bonnets. This is the show one. You have that one. What is that? Kentucky, yeah. With the acoustic ears. Although my acoustic ears seem to be a bit Oh, I really want an Hermes bonnet.
Yeah, [snorts] I've got a feeling that the rest are not here. Wow. That one in Dubai. And I've got a lot of white ones and I actually don't like white ones.
>> Yeah, because actually Louisa's got another amazing life in Dubai. So, not only has she got one amazing life in England, I've got another half It's It's duplicated. Oh, Chloe. This is Chloe's mess.
Brand new. Take your mess and go.
So, we have show stuff, show box up there. No idea what's in there. That's polo covers. Very organized. Lip gloss and pony. Lip gloss. And then, I'm actually unpacking the lorry at the minute. This is Harley mask. She's settling in. That's Harley as actually none of me. Me and Harley. Oh, that's Harley and Chelsea mask.
Um bridles. This is what we want to do.
We want to get the little name plate.
She's got them on eBay, didn't you?
>> eBay, yeah.
>> We want to do this. So, um that's on my list to do. All All the bridles. Hats.
And then, oh yeah, hats. Chloe's riding hat. Oh, oh, oh, oh.

No, it's giving that I'm going to distract the judge with my horses bling. We're going to bling up. Do you reckon people do that? They distract the judge with their outfits. Just bling up. Bling and blind.
>> [laughter] >> Um yeah, and then in here we have There's not a lot in here because it's all in Dubai. Bandages.
This one. Normally, this is full, but everything is in Dubai.
So, what's in here? Boots, fluffy boots.
I've just been packing them. Let's have a look at these saddles.
>> So, we've got saddles. All the best saddles just been packed in the lorry.
Ken's pink one. No, this one. This one's uh Oh, okay.
>> No, we did show it. We did show Ken's saddle and Holly rode him earlier.
That's the best.
>> Is it heavy? Yeah, it's a bit heavy.
But it doesn't fit Ken.
No, this is something else. So, this >> [laughter] >> head the saddle. This is the viral one.
>> No, I don't mean this really, but this is giving big fat gypsy wedding. I mean, what can I say, guys? It's just this whole little mini tack room tour is [laughter] really a lot about my personality, isn't it?
You've got the matching leathers and the matching girth. Oh, yeah. Look how bling that is. So, this was made specially by Adam Ellis, man in the Midlands.
>> Look at the stitching underneath.
>> Isn't it stunning?
It is. No, no, no, no. Look at the sparkles. I just see it sideways. What on earth? Is it comfy?
It's okay.
It's not It's >> Did you design it from scratch or did you? Yeah. Well, Adam had one already and then I added even more bling. But I haven't I don't use it that much because it is a bit much.
>> a bit embarrassed when you ride? Yeah.
Do you?
>> Yeah, but you know.
And also, I find that it's not properly broken in. So, when you've got a saddle that fits a horse properly and the way of going back. I love your wallpaper.
Love this. This is so nice. It makes me want to redo my tack room now.
It's got quite a big cantle, a big wide cantle. Yeah, and it can't have it.
It is got quite soft. Like, yeah, it's We've got the Hermes blanket down there.
And look at the sparkles.
Don't you have a pink one? Is that in Dubai? No, that's here.
Oh, my Oh, the silver.
Are you allowed to wear a saddle pads?
No.
Oh, there's a rule.
Look at these sparkles.
So, yeah, this is The tack room tour.

So, just ignore all that as well, guys.
Ignore the mess here.
Oh, they're all of Louise's pictures.
And fireplaces.
>> Andrew said this is your favorite place to just sit.
>> Yeah, it is. I just come and sit.
That's outside Louise's. That's outside the house? I've got my wine fridge.
Who has a wine fridge in their tack room? Me, sometimes.
>> Every woman that's had a bad dressage score. Yeah.
>> [laughter] >> You just need a glass of vino.
Really?
>> But yeah, that is my little tack room.
Pretty incredible. It is gorgeous.
Thank you.
>> Very lucky girl, Louisa.
I Yeah.
Yeah, ours is like half the width. Is it? No, I wouldn't say that. I'd say I'm long with me.
Like just chop this bit off. I'd say Louisa's was definitely better. Louisa's is better. I can help you design yours.
I did I actually designed all this.
Measured everything. I measured saddle pads, saddles, the hats, the boots. I measured the big I know I'm so particular.
And it is perfect. Do you know my one regret? What?
>> Is not putting the sink that side.
Really? Why?
>> Well, because the coffee machine's there. The fridge is there. The coffee maker is there. Yeah, that was my only regret is the sink in the wrong place.
But other than that, It's perfect. It's my favorite place in the world.
It's amazing. I love >> So that's Louisa's tack room tour.
Thanks for coming.
>> [laughter] >> We just got her a massive big gypsy wedding >> big gypsy wedding has them with terrible taste in things and stuff.
>> No, no, it's very nice.
>> It is gorgeous.
It's all nice.
He's been amazing.
He's scared of the ponies, they go Did you do your homework?
Oh yeah, he did his homework. So this was his lovely little stable. Isn't it, Popcorn?
>> I love this pony so much.
Don't eat my hat.
And then we've got little Rosie.
And then we've got one night left, haven't we, Rose? Yeah?
And we're going to go home tomorrow.
It's been such a We've been so lucky with the weather. Hasn't it been amazing?
So guys, that is the end of our amazing weekend. And I think it's safe to say that Rolo had the time of his life. He channeled his inner naughty da- devil, basically. You were so cheeky. I can't even recognize you.
But it's been absolutely incredible, and Louisa's house is in fact the house of dreams. I've been so lucky to spend the whole entire weekend here, 3 days. We've had such an amazing time, and I can't thank Louisa enough. Louisa's daughter, Clemy, also had a little ride on Rolo, and you did look after her very, very well. Maybe not so much Harland.
>> [laughter] >> Harland did get the short straw.
But honestly, it's been so much fun. I can't thank Louisa enough for letting me ride Ken. He is honestly so dreamy. I also rode Kylie, who's Clemy's newest pony, who had actually since Louisa's had her, they've haven't taken her anywhere. So I was the first person to ride her out and about in Louisa's care. So, she was such a good girl and I had such an amazing time. I loved riding Tomato, teaching her how to jump, and literally teaching her how to jump. She was incredible and she is so brave. Comment down below if you love Tomato because I definitely do.
She is an absolute diva. And me and Popcorn practiced our dressage test for a really, really big show that's coming up very, very soon, which I'm so excited but very, very nervous for. It feels like I'm about to go to Hoy's, I'm not even going to lie. This is going to be my first time riding Popcorn at something big. So, this is a very, very, very big deal. But, I've got my dressage test all learned now. I had another practice with Louisa this morning and she helped me run through it because I'm going to be honest, I was panicking yesterday a little bit because I have I'm not going to have a massive amount of time to practice my test because badminton is in the middle of now and the event. So, it's all a little bit stressful, but I've learned my test now.
It didn't actually take too long, which I'm so thankful for, but it's all learned now. I'm so excited. I think Popcorn is going to thrive in this atmosphere. So, yeah. I can't thank Louisa enough for letting me stay at her place. Um, thank you so much for having me and I hope Clemmy has had a lovely weekend. I know Harland has been having so much fun with Clemmy and her sister Indie. They have been In the lake. In the lake? Quite literally in the lake. They've been kayaking. I I can't name an activity that they that they haven't done.
Hatched ducks. Hatched ducks, rode Rescued Rescued ducks, gone swimming.
But guys, it has been incredible and I can't wait to show you all what exciting thing me and Popcorn have got coming up very, very soon. This is going to be an absolute dream of mine. I cannot wait.
It's going to be so much fun.
I'm counting down the days, quite literally. So, anyways, I hope you guys have enjoyed today's vlog. Stay tuned for this a very exciting thing that is coming up very soon. So many of you guys are probably behind the screen like, "Talia, just tell us. Come on. Come on girl. Like you've teased us too much.
But, yeah. Stay tuned and I hope you guys enjoyed today's vlog and I will see you in the next one. Bye.
