[00:00:06]Now, this will depend on the exact circumstances of the case. So, basically, if the child became a US citizen through that parent, so they derived US citizenship through that parent, or it was the parent's, you know, permanent residence application of which the child was a derivative, um in those cases, the parent's denaturalization could impact the child because if the government proves that the parent became a US citizen or even permanent resident through fraud, well, then the child did so as well.

[00:00:38]Practically speaking, although this is possible and it could definitely happen, practically speaking, most denaturalization cases target the individual who committed the fraud, who did the material misrepresentation, who um obtained US citizenship they shouldn't have obtained um through um these um call it illegal acts. So, again, while theoretically possible, um it's rare. In in in the vast majority of cases, if you're worried about this, please speak to an immigration attorney who has experience with these cases because um it requires careful analysis.
