This video presents a case study of Justice Krak, a Nigerian citizen who was abducted, hooded, and tortured by military authorities for creating videos about military welfare issues. Dr. Sam Amadi, his legal representative, argues that such actions constitute malicious miscommunication and undermine national security, while emphasizing that citizens have the right to provide honest feedback to those in power. The case highlights the importance of maintaining civil-military relationships and protecting citizens' rights to express concerns about government and military welfare without facing persecution.

JUSTICE CRACK TORTURED? Dr. Sam Amadi Drops BOMBSHELL on Military Abduction & Hooding追加:
Sam Amadi, lawyer representing Justice Krak, revealed several details after visiting him multiple times and engaging in discussions about his situation.
Amadi said the issue surrounding Justice Mark Chidy was kidnapping and abduction by the Nigerian military authorities.
Justice was abducted, his face completely hooded, his hands tied to the back and was tortured daily. He will be kept under the sun in the daytime and transferred to a cold room at night.
Justice was seriously battered and his health deteriorated. As at the time he was to be transferred to the Department of State Services, DSS, his health condition was so bad that the DSS had to first of all start treating him before taking him to court for prosecution.
Listen to Amadi's revelation. I'm speaking both on my integrity and experience as a senior lawyer and somebody who has worked tremendously to promote civil military relationship.
First the military kidnapped basically justice he was normal routine went to eat after eating they jammed his phone the DSS arrated him and said want to talk okay let's talk I'm a citizen I have nothing to hide and suddenly they all emerged with guns cocked and you know menacing hooded him covered him in a hood and dumped him and took him And for days handcuffed, brought in the sun, hooded completely with eyes, nose everywhere blocked. And in the night they would take him to a code room until you guys patotic Nigerians, bloggers and communicators raised this issue and the military had to take him to the DSS.
I've spoken to DS officials very wonderful guys professional because of the state he was the way he has been badly treated brutalized and sick the first thing the DSS did was to take him to a clinic for checkup and up to yesterday evening when I was there the DSS have been checking on him monitoring his BP and providing him very good treatment.
So first factual this was an abduction a Gestapo like abduction.
This is not a case of a citizen who was asked to explain whatever he communicated. That's number one. Number two, he was kept for days covered, hooded, chained behind and kept in the dead sun purposely to torture, humilate.
And today he has all the time with him.
You can see that cough coming from cold up to now and the the last time I spoke with the director of operations and they promised to you know look at that medically and provide me the support in it. So they have been fantastic. The DSS have been very good in managing his case. Now the charge was yesterday and the charge said nothing.
There's nothing about this around terrorism or around you know disrupting or inciting the military. It's simply cyber stalking. Now cyber stalking relates to offenses of persons who continuously harass others through the cyber activities. There's nothing harassment a post he got from a military source which is not different from what generals retired have been saying about the concept of the military. So this is important this statement from Mr. Justice is similar to statements we've received in the past from many retired generals who talk about the welfare of workers. And this is very important to make that is the military that is undermining national security in this circumstance.
What happens everywhere is that we are all of you here today are the victims of terrorism and all of us have incentive to ensure that the military decisively defeats the terrorist and what Mr. Josees did and I was there with him when the DSS debriefed him. I read the statement he agreed that the statement was his own voluntarily. Nowhere in that statement did he ever say and nobody asserted to him that he ever had correspondence with any soldier or anybody after his post.
He was very clear very patriotic and he said that he does his videos to explain political situation so that citizens can be engaged in the activities of their country. I want to put on record that I've said with these guys Mr. P uh Ghana all of them these are Nigerians who want to bring back civic commitment to Nigerian state. These are not persons who want night to be undermined. And I want to challenge the generals. They are the people who have benefited from this country. They have got the privileges and maybe they don't care about our soldiers who are suffering because if they do they would call these guys into conference and say help us. Thank you for helping us because the idea is feedback. I've been a chief executive of an institution. I've worked with the foreign affair and I've dealt with secret of this country. What we need is that citizens give honest feedback to those in power to improve what just was to provide feedback like a responsible citizen. So I want to put on record here that is a malicious miscommunication suggesting there was any intent to undermine national security or suggested that the video was presented with a view to create an unrest. The video was a plea by citizens on the line. our soldiers, our gallant soldiers on the line saying help us so that our leaders can see the conditions all over the world during the uh Gulf War during the war against the US terrorism. What happened in Abugraph? It was American media that reported the failure of the American military in managing those combatants. Nobody persecuted them.
Today CNN all the media houses are reporting on some of those shortfalls of the war with a view to enabling the war department improve their effort. So why I'm making this case I'm in touch with the DSS and I think is an interest of justice and interest of the military that this case should have should not have brought to court. It's laughable.
It trivalizes the idea of executive responsibility.
What we expected and what I would advise the military to do is to call up these guys and talk with them and said you are citizens who are patriotic helping to promote the welfare of Nigerian soldiers. We would like to give you facts that at our disposal and encourage you to create a a way of communication so that when you receive information you can come to us. That's what a responsible leadership should be doing.
not persecuting a citizen whose manifest and clear purpose is to help the soldiers win this war which we are the people suffering this war of terror not the generals in their barracks not the generals in the in the big buildings who are protected by soldiers battalions but other citizens who every day will be kidnapped or whose family member will be kidnapped and they forced to pay ransom I want to put it clear that I have spoken to chi I spoken to the officers I was there to one hour interrogation. He maintained justice. He maintained his position that his videos at activities get at letting citizens know how government is working and helping them participate and that he took this profession and got certified as a videographer for the purpose of engendering civic participating in politics. I think they should actually be commending him. is so sad that he was brutalized but I'm happy that the DSS is taking corrective measure over the brutality of uh General's people. I want to end this on this note that this is the wife.
>> You've heard Amadi's revelation right the issues of poor feeding ration and welfare of the military personnel are not different from the ones former or retired senior military officers and security experts have commented on in the past. So, do you think Justice Krak deserves the kind of maltreatment he was subjected to by the military authorities or he should have been commended for trying to help the military improve the welfare of the military officers? If the military authorities could track and arrest Justice Crack, why have they not been able to track bandits and kidnappers who continually flaunt weapons and ransom money they collect from their victims on the social media?
Why have they not been able to end terrorism in the northeast? Nigerians on exocial media are reacting to this story. The first reaction says, "Nigeria is a country of pains and agony. Sadly, we are the mercy of these leaders who are supposed to be protecting us." The second reaction reads, "It's corruption of the top officers who are trying to cover their evil. Their judgment is here." Then the third reaction says, "Dear Nigerian army, whoever advised you to do this advised you wrongly." This your editorial clearly shows the lack of understanding of managing the image of the military. You have further eroded the integrity of the military and violated his right assaulting citizens.
