The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the holy is understanding; this reverent awe of God, rather than terror, provides the foundation for making wise decisions, developing strong character, and living with purpose and integrity throughout life's journey.

Heat.
Heat.
Please Please stand for the singing of the national anthem.
Oh, say can you see by the dawn early light what so proudly we held at the twilight last gleaming whose broad stripes and bright stars through the peril fly or the ramparts we watch for so galling and the rockets red the bombs bursting in air gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, that star spangled or the land of the free.
and the home of God.
Good evening everyone and welcome to the graduation ceremony for the class of 2026. On behalf of the senior class, thank you all for being here to celebrate this special moment with us.
Thank you to all of the parents, teachers, families, and friends who helped and supported us along the way.
To my fellow graduates, congratulations on all we have accomplished. As we begin a new chapter in life, may we always remember the lessons and friendships we made here. Thank you and welcome to our graduation ceremony.
We're going to begin tonight with prayer. Can everyone bow their heads?
Father, we come before you this evening.
We thank you for bringing us to this moment and for the parents, grandparents, teachers, leaders, and loved ones who have helped us along the way. As we step into this new chapter of life, continue to lead us and guide us.
Help us to trust in you with all our hearts and not lean on our own understanding. Direct our paths according to your word, Lord. Bless and keep this graduating class. Make your face shine upon us. Be gracious unto us and grant us peace. We thank you and praise you for everything you've done and everything you're going to do. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Tonight's verse comes from Proverbs 3:5-6.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Put your hands together with us. We're going to give God praise on graduation night on Pentecost Sunday.
I'll praise in the valley, praise on the mountain.
I'll praise when I'm sure, praise when I'm doubting.
I'll praise when I'm comfort.
Praise when his praise is the waters.
My enem is drowning.
As long as I got a reason to.
Oh my soul.
Lord, oh my soul.
I'll praise when I feel it. No praise when I don't.
I'll praise cuz I know Jesus you're still in control.
My praise is a weapon.
It's more than a sound.
My praise in the sound that cherry come down. As long as I'm breathing, help me.
>> As long as I'm going to s Praise the Lord, oh my soul.
I'll praise when I feel it and you'll praise when I don't.
I'll praise cuz I know Jesus, you're still in control.
My praise is a weapon.
It's more than a sound.
My praise can bring Jericho down.
As long as I'm brea I got a reason.
I got a real heat.
The Lord, now all of my fears I will turn into praise. Shake off despair as I sing out your name. A victory dance. I will dance out in pain. I will crush disappointment and break every chain.
Heat. Heat.
Heat. Heat.
Yeah. Heat.
Everybody Heat.
Heat.
I won't be my God is alive. How could I keep my God is alive? Heat. Heat.
Praise the Lord, oh my soul.
Oh, we give him praise right here. Can you lift up your hands and lift up your voice?
May be seated.
Good evening everyone. It is truly an honor to stand before you tonight as saludiatoran of the class of 2026.
Tonight we are not just celebrating the end of high school. We are celebrating every morning, every early morning, every late night assignment, every difficult test, every challenge we thought we could overcome, we not we could not overcome and every moment God carried us through. There is a quote by Thomas Payne that says, "The harder the confl conflict, the more glorious the triumph." I believe that perfectly describes this class. The journey here was not always easily. There were moments of stress, moments of doubt, and definitely moments where graduation felt very far away. Somehow though, we made it. Even if some of us survived mostly on caffeine, procrastination, and last minute studying. But through every challenge, God remained faithful.
Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts I think towards you, sayeth the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Even when we could not see what was ahead. God already had a purpose and a plan for every one of us. That is something this t this school has taught us. Success is not only measured by achievements, but by faith, character, and the way we treat each others each other. As graduates of Calvary Academy, we are stepping into a world that needs people willing to stand for the truth, lead with kindness, and trust God even when life feels uncertain. To everyone who supported us, prayed for, encouraged, and invested in us along the way. Thank you for helping us become the people we are today. And to the class of 2026, we actually made it. Thank you for the memories, the laughters, and the moments that made these years feel unc unforgettable.
As we walk into the next chapter of life, I hope we do it with confidence, courage, and faith in God's plans for us. Congratulations, class of 2026. And thank you, Good evening everyone. For those of you who may not know me, my name is Brianna Middleton and I'm honored to stand here before you tonight as valid Victorian of this graduating class. I want to thank my pastor and bishop for your leadership, wisdom, and the example you've set before me. Thank you to my principal and every teacher who has poured time, patience, encouragement, and knowledge into me throughout my time in CA. Your impact reaches beyond the classroom and I'm deepfully grateful for each of you. As I thought about what I wanted to say, I realized how blessed I've been throughout my life. I can honestly say that many of the difficult paths I could have gone down were avoided because I was raised by parents who love me enough to set boundaries before problems ever became issues. To my mom and dad, thank you for your sacrifices, your prayers, your guidance, and for always pointing me toward God. I would not be the person I am today without you. One thing that my parents have taught me is to develop a love for truth. A love for truth will help you treat people right who have wronged you.
A love for truth will help you fear the Lord. A love for truth will give you the confidence to do the right thing even when it is hard. When you love God, you will hate the things of this world.
First John 2:15 says, "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him."
I'm so thankful I decided early on in life to hate the things of the world and to love God with my whole heart. When you are truly in love with the Lord, he begins leading and guiding you. As I've grown in daily prayer, I've had so many blessings or little confirmations that he is leading me. Whether it be a nudge or God simply giving me the courage to say no to temptation. I can use this speech in his example. I had no clue what I should say in this speech, but I was in prayer Thursday morning and the phrase love for truth kept coming to mind. Right then, I jotted down a few lines to this very speech. Later at school, I was asked to sing a song and what do you know? The song was titled Love for Truth. These are the little confirmations that I love. It's nothing out of the ordinary, but I found it's just another way God proves himself to be true. To my classmates, I love you all so much. We've shared so many memories and moments we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. Even as we go our separate ways, I want you to know that I will always be cheering you on and believing in you. I can I truly cannot wait to see what God does in each of your lives. As we leave this chapter behind and step into a new season, my prayer is that we never chase success more than we chase God. Matthew 6:33 says, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you." In a world that constantly pulls people in different directions, I encourage you, fall in love with the truth. Thank you.
Good evening. It is my privilege and honor to stand before you all tonight as valadictorian of the senior class of 2026. I am forever thankful for the role Calvary Academy has played in shaping my life for the past 14 years. I give honor to pastor and bishop for their vision. I would like to thank every teacher who has impacted me along the way. Lastly, but certainly not least, I want to thank my parents for being my biggest supporters. I would not be standing here tonight without them instilling in me to do right and always encouraging me to give my very best. I am standing here tonight not because of anything I have done, but because of those who have gone before me. I have drawn from wells that I have not dug. I have been blessed with a rich heritage and I am striving to leave a legacy for those after me.
Reflecting back on my time at CA, one of the most important things I have been taught is to cultivate a prayer life and walk with God. We are so blessed to not only have a praying culture at our church, but at Calvary Academy as well.
So many life-changing experiences have come from prayer meetings and chapel services at CA.
Calvary Academy has also taught me to always seek after the Lord and keep him first in my life. Matthew 6:33 says, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." I have watched generations before me seek God, even during hard times, and they have always been overtaken by the blessings of God. Calvary Academy has given me so many opportunities to be involved and work in the Lord's kingdom. And for this, I am forever grateful. As I step into the next chapter of my life, I will forever hold close in my heart everything Calvary Academy has taught me. This is a very bittersweet moment, but I know the future is bright. To my class, I love you all and I am so thankful for every memory we have made along this journey. Let's keep praying and living right and I know God will order each of our steps. I want to leave you with one last scripture. Proverbs 3:5 and 6. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths. Always remember with God the best is yet to come. Thank you.
I'm Kirsten Kiki Hines from UAPTC.
I'm here tonight to congratulate everybody and represent UAPTC in handing out the certificates of general studies.
We are also going to be handing out a certificate of welding which is a first for Calvary and UAPTC to have this partnership. And then we're also going to be handing out a one-year uh towards the general's license as an electrician which is also a first. So congratulations to all these students.
This is such a great opportunity you have been given.
Samuel Whitfield, one year towards his journeyman's license as an electrician.
Certificate of welding. Bla1 Lucas, Certificate of General Studies. Valina Atkins, Ava Eddie, Jackson Herring, Beatatric Holmes, Brianna Middleton, Mary Grace Pomememoroy, Constance Tims, For more than 72 years, Calvary Academy has been more than a school. It has been a ministry, a place where faith and education come together to shape lives and impact generations. Since its beginning as the educational ministry of First Pentecostal Church, Calvary Academy has remained committed to developing students spiritually, academically, socially, and personally because education is about more than information. It is about transformation.
At Calvary Academy, spiritual growth is not simply part of the experience. It is the foundation of everything we do.
Throughout the years, hundreds of students have received the gift of the Holy Ghost and been baptized in Jesus' name through daily prayer, biblical instruction, chapel services, and a Christ centered environment. Students are encouraged to build a personal relationship with God that extends far beyond graduation day.
Calvary Academyy's mission is to provide students with an academically excellent education founded upon biblical principles, training them to live with purpose, integrity, and faith like Daniel and Esther. That mission is reflected not only in the classroom, but in the culture students experience every day. At Calvary Academy, students build lifelong friendships, grow through meaningful chapel services, and create unforgettable memories through field trips, senior trips, special events, and leadership opportunities. Experiences like 10X week, Career Day, the Sherwood Prayer Breakfast, and Willow Gatherings encourage students to dream bigger, discover purpose, and prepare for their future. Students are surrounded by a culture of honor, respect, excellence, and biblical values. They are encouraged by teachers who invest in them, mentors who care about them, and friendships that strengthen them. At Calvary Academy, students are known, they are valued, they are challenged to lead, serve, and pursue God's calling for their lives. Academic excellence is also a cornerstone of the Calvary Academy experience. Students are challenged to think critically, communicate effectively, and pursue knowledge with excellence. Our educators work to prepare students not only for graduation, but for college, careers, and lifelong success. Because our goal is not simply to produce graduates. Our goal is to produce leaders for both the secular world and the kingdom of God.
And as families entrust us with their children, they can have confidence knowing safety remains a priority.
Calvary Academy is committed to providing a secure environment where students are cared for, protected, and given every opportunity to grow into who God has called them to be.
The ushers are going to come at this time. We're going to receive our evening offering tonight. We're blessed to be able to sew our seed beyond the walls of our church and our school. It is our honor tonight to receive this offering for the Robinette family and for the ministry that God has called them to do throughout the world, especially in the crus in the crusade that is coming to Los Angeles, California in the next few days. We pray over this offering tonight. Lord Jesus, we thank you for your goodness, for your blessings to your people. And God, I pray that they would be generous to you and that they would seow seed because we know we will all reap a bountif bountiful harvest. In Jesus' name we pray. Let's worship here tonight with the choir as we receive the offering.
Lord, you have my full attention.
When you speak, it will be heard.
Show me deeper revelation as I seek you through your word.
May I never lose this passion.
Let it burn within my heart.
And let every vain distraction be consumed by all you are.

Even if I stand alone, I will never lose this passion. I will always follow you.
I would never leave the beauty of your holiness.
True.
Give me your love and all the things that draw me close to you.
And I will not be I will not be my be the truth. You be born to me.
I promise the Lord. So I promise Lord never walk away.
Never walk away.

Oh, I'll buy this truth and I won't sell it.
I choose this truth above all else.
I'll buy this truth and I won't sell it.
I choose this truth above all else.
I'll buy this truth and I won't truth this truth.
>> I choose this truth.
My is true. My is true. This truth is true.
Jesus truth.
Heat. Heat. Heat.
says to the world.
I'll buy this truth and I won't sell it.
I choose this truth above all else.
I'll buy this truth and I won't sell it.
I choose this truth above all else.
Give it up. Give it up for the choir one time. Wasn't that beautiful? Can we give it up? Show our appreciation the music to all the singers.
I get a very high honor tonight. I have been asked along with Sister Cyper to give a charge to the senior class of 2026.
And I am extremely honored to get to be here with this group of students. This is an incredible class and I am so thankful for them.
Today is a very different kind of day.
For most of your lives, deadlines have been given to you. Bells told or for some of you suggested when to arrive and when to leave class. Teachers reminded you what assignments were coming next.
For years, much of your life has been structured for you. But starting tonight, life becomes different. Not a bad different, a good different. The questions facing you now are no longer simply about grades or missing assignments, but about who are you going to become after tonight? When no one is reminding you what comes next, who will you be then? When the responsibility for your life is fully in your hands, what will matter most to you? I could spend all evening discussing each of your your accomplishments. Some of you started businesses. Some of you have already spent years in a particular trade or career. And some of you have completed many college hours, and many of you already heavily invested in the kingdom of God. But tonight, this graduation ceremony is not the finish line for those things, but a starting point for those things. And I get it. GPA matters, ACT matters, SAT matters, but so does leaving this moment with integrity, having good character, knowing how to work hard and persevere, and knowing how to have a prayer life. Because your life will not be defined at this moment going forward by what you achieve, but by who you are. I once heard someone say that a teacher does not pick favorite students and a teacher does not pick favorite classes. And I have not come to argue that point tonight. But this teacher told me that they do have students and they will have classes that they never forget.
Class of 2026, from North Hills to New Orleans, my mind races tonight through so many memories we've shared together that would take many more lifetimes than mine to tell. But you are a class I will never forget. You are a class that has shaped me more than I could have possibly helped to shape you. You're a class that made me fall in love with I do every day. I'll never forget one particular moment as I sat in the basement of the school and an emergency was brought to my attention and I ran as fast as any human's ever ran to the top floor to my classroom. I swung open the door and I was greeted with the blasts of confetti cannons and the shrieks of surprise.
I won't forget that. I won't forget the handwritten letters or trese leche cakes and many more special moments. But if I could relive one more day with this class, I wouldn't need a huge event and I wouldn't need a special trip. I think I'd be okay with just one more ordinary school day with all of you. One more day with a class that I love dearly. Now, your spots in my classroom will belong to another group, but your spots in my heart will never be replaced. So, seniors, I've been tasked with charging you tonight. Are you ready? Are you ready?
Be humble enough to keep learning. Be wise enough to choose character over convenience. Be strong enough to stand alone when the truth requires it. Be kind in a world that often rewards cruelty. And never confuse success with significance because a successful life without God is an empty one. For all material things will fade one day. But who you are standing before God will matter forever. So class of 2026, keep moving forward for the best is yet to come. God bless you.
Good evening. The last few weeks have been full of memories of my time with this class. I was blessed to get to teach you in your fifth grade year, your 11th grade, and finally this past year.
We have spent approximately 1,250 hours together, and I still love each and every one of you. When you were in the fifth grade, I was always looking for ways to award good behavior. Donuts seemed like a good award. The contest for good behavior began. After the designated time had passed, the contest ended. I went to Mark's Donuts early one morning to get the donuts for the students who had exhibited good behavior. I paused before I paid and thought of the students who would not get a donut. I ordered some doughnut holes.
After I presented the donuts in class, I talked about faith that was the size of the grain of mustard seed. And I told the class that I had faith that the ones who did not make it this time would make it the next. I gave them each a donut hole, maybe more than one, to show them that my faith was larger than a tiny grain. My faith was at least as big as a donut hole.
We also had church services in the fifth grade. You all would sing together. You would have testimonies and prayer. You never disappointed me. You always gave your best in those church services.
While you were in the 11th grade, you worked in teams to create some original oneact plays. They were definitely original. We often had meaningful dialogue during our history classes. I was also given many opportunities to take the proverbial rabbit trail. I can at least give you all an A for effort.
We read the Scarlet Letter together and had to contemplate some challenging questions as we looked at the theme of the book, which is the fact that sin has consequences.
Finally, you made it to the 12th grade only to have me once again for one more class, English. The cumulative project of the class was to research different vocations. We had many speakers take time out of their days to visit our class and discuss different careers.
They all appreciated your thoughtful questions, and you made each class count.
Earlier this week, Brother Jordan Copelan spoke to us. His words were weighty and meaningful as he taught us how to apply the word of God to our lives. He said that for every situation in our lives, there is a scripture that is the anecdote to what we are facing.
My charge tonight comes from the word of God for your next season of life. I present to you a reminder of the message our pastor preached on April 22nd, 2026, the fear of the Lord. I charge each one of you to fear God. Not the fear that creates terror, but rather the fear that shows reverence to God, to be in awe of who he is. The ultimate purpose, the whole duty of mankind is to fear God.
Will you be attending college? Proverbs 9:10, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. I challenge you to pray about each class you take. You can place the content and course requirements into God's hands.
With God giving you wisdom and you working hard, you will succeed. Are you beginning or continuing a job? Better struggling with self-confidence to succeed. Proverbs 14:26, "In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence, and his children shall have a place of refuge."
When you fear God, you will have the confidence to go forward boldly.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 sums it up for us.
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole duty of man. Tonight I have one final review question for you. Are you ready? Can you answer it?
Do you want a diploma?
What is the ultimate purpose and the whole duty of mankind? It is to Let's try it again. Fear God.
Maybe. No, it is to fear God. So I charge you to develop, to cultivate, and to maintain the fear of the Lord.
Wow. Wow. Were those charges not incredible?
Why don't we give it up for our upper campus principles?
And while we're doing that, I want to give it up to all of the Calgary Academy faculty and staff. Could you all stand tonight? UAPC staff over here on my left. Staff, why don't we show the honor and the appreciation that's due to these incredible people that have made this night happen? Oh, come on. You can do better. Come on, let's make some noise for those who have brought these seniors to this point.
I'm so thankful for all of the faculty and staff. The product you're seeing here tonight is the product of many people working together to make this happen under the vision of our great pastor. And I want to give a special thanks to brother Matlock, brother Whitfield, and brother H. Hearnden.
Could you stand?
And brother Mike Holmes right here.
These men all just volunteer to come.
Uh, Brother Holmes teaches Bible.
Brother Matlock and Brother Whitfield teach trades. Brother H. Hearnden comes weekly to teach entrepreneurship. So, I just want to honor you and recognize you and thank you for all the time you donated to Calvary Academy this year.
And then in the audience, I know there's several people that volunteer throughout the year. If you're in the audience and you volunteered for one thing, whether it was to speak to a class, cook a lunch, or whatever it was, could you stand tonight so that we can recognize you? Let's give it up to all the volunteers.
I see them standing throughout the audience.
And then, as you know, this is a 72year-old ministry of the church. So, if you graduated from Calvary Academy, could you stand tonight? We want to recognize all of the Calvary Academy and Buckeye alumni. Is this not incredible?
This is awesome.
Thank you. And then, as you saw, we had several Calvary Academy students here tonight. And I was deeply touched recently by Sister Ronda Rei. Sister Rey, would you stand? Sister Rei is a is a testimony of the goodness of God. A few years ago, she was struck down with an illness and she was paralyzed and we didn't know how what the outcome would be, but by the end of that year, they wheeled her in here in a wheelchair and she gave praise to God with the staff and all the students gathered and rejoiced that God had touched her. And now she's back. She's back with us teaching and thank you, Sister Reed. And I want to say, yeah, she's a miracle.
And I told her the other day, I said, "We would be fine if you would come teach Bible till you're 90 years old at Calvary Academy. So, you're here for a while." She told me the other day though, she she said, "I taught a Bible lesson." And she's actually not she doesn't always teach Bible, but she said, "I taught a Bible lesson." She's like, "The Lord impressed me. Why do I teach? you know, why do I come up here every day? Why do I teach? And she said, God showed her, you're teaching because of the the property across the interstate. Because if you do your job correctly, these young people are going to be equipped to go over and help us develop the land that God has given us across the interstate. Hey, are you thankful for teachers like that that carry a burden for these young people?
Hallelujah. So, we're thankful for that.
I'm going to go quickly now and I get the honor of reading the comments to the graduates. So when I call your name, please stand and look at me. You can turn this way. You can look at me and we're going to do this together.
Starting with Sister Valina Atkins, Saludiatoran.
Valina, you are smart, hard-working, consistent, and diligent. You have the same incredible qualities that made your grandmother Atkins such a blessing to the kingdom of God. Acts 9:36 says, "Now there was at Japa a certain disciple named Tabatha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and alms deeds which she did." She had passed away and then Peter prayed and she came back to life. The people she knew could not imagine living without her because of the good that she did. Valina, you have that same excellent spirit and it will take you far in life and in the kingdom of God.
Thank you, Valina, Blaine Blakeley.
Blaine, you come from a line of apostolic giants. Some have passed on and some are still here. These are great people with great faith who have seen God do great things. Blaine, the same greatness is upon you. You are a talented young man who has skills that I could only dream of attaining. We have prayed and cried together in the altar several times as the Holy Ghost has deeply touched your life. Daniel 11:32 says, "But the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits."
Blaine, as you focus on knowing God, he will help you to do exploits for his kingdom. Thank you, Brennan Blakeley.
Brennan, you are an outstanding and noble young man. 1 Peter 5:6 says, "Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. You have shown your humility by your walk with God, your work ethic, and your willingness to do whatever is needed in the kingdom of God. Your family represents a pillar in our church. As a young man, you stand as a pillar in the church, always ready to help and always ready to pray with a young person in need. Continue to walk in humility and in due time, God will exalt you. Thank you, Brennan.
Weston Davis, you're to hear Weston sing tonight.
Weston.
As David handed the kingdom over to his son Solomon, he said in first Kings 2:2, "I go the way of all the earth. Be thou strong, therefore, and show thyself a man." Weston, you have shown yourself to be a strong man. You put God first. You work hard. You are diligent. And you are patriotic.
Most importantly, you know how to let God touch you. You know how to cry and pray in the Holy Ghost. Of all the amazing traits you have, I am most amazed and moved by how you seek after God. Continue to seek God fervently and he will richly reward you. Thank you, Weston.
Ava Eddie, don't cry. Ava, there were times throughout the past couple of school years, Brother Mike Holmes and Brother Keith can attest to this, where your prayers made a difference in our school prayer meetings. I remember one time several were praying at the church and I could hear someone praying so freely in the Holy Ghost and wondered who it was and then found out it was you. You have a special prayer life and a special touch of God on your life. James 5:16 says, "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avaleth much." Ava, your prayers make a difference. Keep praying and God will do amazing things in your life. Thank you, Ava.
Michael Gonzalez.
Michael, you have shown a deep determination to succeed in life. And one of my favorite quotes is not all moments are created equal. Michael, you've had some moments like that this year. One that comes to mind was a recent altar service where you were deeply touched by the presence of God while our pastor and others prayed with you. You lingered there in the presence of God for a long time.
Matthew 5:6 says, "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.
Keep hungering and thirsting for righteousness, Michael, and you will be filled. Thank you, Jackson Herring.
Jackson, you are a disciplined and noble young man. On a podcast, you recently quoted Matthew 6:33.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. At a young age, you truly have the revelation of this scripture. And you have watched that God truly does add these things to our lives when we seek him first. You have given many hours of your time to the work of God. And he has blessed you. You have already developed a pattern of prayer, fasting, and giving that will continue to bless you in the years to come. Thank you, Jackson.
Beatatrice Holmes.
Beatatrice, you are talented in so many ways. Your zeal for life is contagious.
But what I admire most about you is your dedication and consecration to God. You have a deep love for truth. You demonstrate a love for holiness on a daily basis. 2 Timothy 2:5 says, "Whom I call to remembrance the unfamed faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois and thy mother Ununice, and I am persuaded that in thee also." You recently expressed on a podcast your deep love for the heritage that has been passed down to you.
Beatatrice, I along with your family are thrilled that you have made the choice to serve God with all of your heart.
Thank you, Beatatrice.
Caleb Howard, do you want to ask me one last question?
No. We'll do it afterwards. Caleb, you are inquisitive, likable, and confident. You have a tender heart towards the things of God. You excel at what you put your hand to, whether it is playing the guitar or golf. You have been deeply touched by the Holy Ghost on many occasions. These experiences with God help strengthen your faith in him and your resolve to live for him.
Third John 1:2 says, "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prosperth." Caleb, continue to put God first in your life, and he will allow you to prosper. Thank you, Caleb.
Braxton Johnson.
Braxton, you're going to do it right now. You know how to put a big smile on everyone's face.
During the senior trip, I said that your laugh was your life 360 for us and we knew how to keep up with you based on your laugh. You have learned a powerful lesson about walking with God. You live your life at the altar every service.
Genesis 22:9 says, "And they came to the place which God had told him of, and Abraham built an altar there. Our father in the faith was an altar builder."
Braxton, you are an altar builder. Keep living life in the altar, and like Abraham, you will continue to see God's promises fulfilled in your life. Thank you, Braxton.
Megan Looper.
Megan, you are consistent and have a great attitude.
You have always shown great respect to those who lead you in life. You are the great granddaughter of one of our pillars in the faith, Sister Cooji Looper. Sister Looper is the one who slept on the floor and used a rock for a pillow for years to see her loved ones saved. Deuteronomy 7:9 says, ' Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
Megan, keep God's commandments and love him, and he will keep his covenant with you that started with your family generations before you. Thank you, Megan.
Elias Lopez.
Elias, you are intelligent, hard-working, and deeply respectful. I am so thankful that you came to Calvary Academy your senior year and are here graduating tonight. During this past year, you have developed a good reputation with your peers and the faculty and staff at Calgary Academy.
1st Samuel 18:14 says, "And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways, and the Lord was with him." Elias, you have behaved yourself wisely, and God is with you. Continue to consecrate your life to God and use the talent he has given you, and you will excel during the next chapter of your life, and God will order your steps. Thank you, Elias.
Bla1 Lucas, you sang good tonight.
Did you enjoy hearing Blaze tonight? He did incredible.
Bla1, you are an anointed young man. God has his hand on your life. You have disciplined yourself and are enjoying the fruit of that discipline. You enjoy life and know how to have a good time.
Recently you testified, we have a lot of podcasters here. You testified on a podcast of how one prayer meeting at a church service changed your life. This prayer meeting brought you back to our church and school. And I am thrilled that you are graduating here tonight. Ephesians 3:20 says, "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that workketh in us, Blae, stay connected to God and he will do great things in your life." Thank you, Brianna Middleton, validictorian.
Brianna, you are a disciplined, smart, and have an incredible work ethic. You excel at what you put your hand to. You use your talent to sing for God's glory.
But one of the most important things you have done up to this point is to build a good reputation and to earn the favor of those around you. Proverbs 22:1 says, "A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches and loving favor rather than silver and gold. The disciplined life and great name that you have built will go before you and help to open doors of opportunity in your life. Keep up the great work that has brought you successfully to this point in your life.
Thank you, Brianna Shelby Payne.
Shelby, you have a great attitude and a great work ethic. These are two qualities that are missing in a large part of our culture. With these two qualities, you can excel in life.
Genesis 24:19 says, "And when she had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw water for thy camels also until they have done drinking."
This is speaking of when Rebecca watered the camels of Abraham's servant. This great attitude and work ethic unlocked God's blessings in her life. Shelby, keep a great attitude and work ethic as you go to the next chapter of your life and God will richly bless you. Thank you, Shelby.
Savannah P.
Savannah, you are bold, confident, and passionate about what you put your hand to in life. You have excelled in the face of adversity. You have walked uprightly, feared God, and kept his commandments. Job 23:10 says, "But he knoweth the way that I take, and when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold." These words were the inspiration for the song we sing entitled The Way That I Take. Savannah, God has his hand on your life and he knows the way you take. If you will continue to seek his face, he will lead and guide you and do beautiful things with your life. Thank you, Savannah.
Mary Grace Pomemeroy.
This is a first.
Mary Grace validictorian, you have brought your mother and me great joy as we have watched you dedicate your life and your talent to the Lord. Your nana, who gave you piano lessons as a little girl, would be so proud of the young lady you have become and how you have used your talent to teach and play the piano, sing, and direct the choir for God's glory. Isaiah 1:19 says, "If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land." Merry grace, you have been willing and obedient to God's will and to those he has placed in your life to lead you, and you are eating the good of the land. We are so proud of you tonight. Thank you, Mary Grace.
Chanden Renie Gintala.
Chanden, you have shown discipline in your work at school and are now ready to reap the rewards of hard work as you enter the next chapter of your life attending college. You excel at accomplishing what you set your mind to do. There is great power in having a madeup mind to do the right things in life. Daniel 1:8 says, "But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat." The key to victory for a child of God is to purpose in his heart to live for God and to stay separated from the world. Chanden, put God first and he will give you direction and help.
Thank you, Chandon.
Brianna Robinette, we're thrilled the Robinets are here with us tonight. We're thrilled that you're graduating with these students tonight. Your parents wrote these comments. Throughout the years of serving alongside your family across Europe and around the world, you have faithfully given your heart, talents, and strength to the work of the kingdom. You are gifted, dedicated, and driven through music, worship, writing, ministry, and leadership. You approach every opportunity with excellence, determination in a servant's heart. You possess a rare ability to find hope in every challenge, joy in every season, and purpose in every assignment. Psalm 23 has been your guiding passage. As you continue your journey of faith and ministry, remember that the shepherd who has led you this far will continue to guide your steps and prepare the way before you. Thank you, Brianna.
Geneva Solace.
Geneva, I am thrilled that God allowed you to attend and graduate from Calvary Academy. You have shown great respect and sincerity. You gave a powerful senior testimony of God's hand that is upon your life. Ruth 2:12 says, "The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust." Geneva, you have learned to trust in God like Ruth did. You have placed your life in his hands. Geneva, you will not be disappointed in this decision because you you trust him. God will lead and guide you in the days, weeks, months, and years to come. Thank you, Geneva.
Braden Shimwell.
Braden, you are talented, respectful, and enjoy life, and you enjoy having a good time. Your desire to live for God has brought you to this graduation ceremony tonight. Your choice to live for God is the greatest choice you will ever make. It is this choice that will help you make wise choices throughout the rest of your life.
While you do not have all of the direction you need for the rest of your life tonight, the Bible will give you direction. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Apply these verses, and God will order your steps."
Thank you, Braden.
Dominic Shorter.
Don't come too close. You'll see. You'll see how much taller than me that he is.
He's a giant young man. And I'm going to tell about that in a second. CA became a brighter place when you started attending. You are a respectful young man. You do well academically and you know how to enjoy the people around you.
You were also good at basketball as I experienced getting soundly defeated by your team following the senior dinner.
I should have known I did not have a chance of winning. Lamentations 3:27 says, "It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth." As you go to the next chapter, bear the yoke of discipline while you are a young man.
And Dominic, you will achieve many great victories. Thank you, Dominique.
Haley Stag, Haley, you are confident, hardworking, and you are a great communicator.
Got a witness out there. When we need when we needed help setting up for school events, you freely volunteered.
You know what goals you want to achieve in life, and you discipline yourself to see those goals reached. You have consecrated your life to God and you are seeing the benefits of that consecration.
Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight thyself also in the Lord and he shall give you the desires of thine heart." Delight in the Lord, continue to build your prayer life. Be a student of the Bible and God will give you the desires of your heart.
Thank you, Haley.
Laya Stags.
Laya, you are diligent, confident, and respectful. You excel at what you put your hands and mind to. You have established a prayer life, and you love the things of God. You are truthful. You are loyal. Hebrews 10:35 through36 says, "Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. Laya, hold to your confidence in God. Be patient while while allowing this next chapter of your life to unfold, and God will fulfill his promises in your life. Thank you, Laya.
Constance Tims.
Constance, you are an outstanding young lady. You love holiness and all of the foundation stones that comprise truth.
You are talented and anointed by God.
You excel academically and you are a leader. You have also built a solid prayer life. Psalm 119 105 says, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." While we can't tell you all of the steps to take after graduation, you have already made the powerful choice to allow God's word to illuminate your path. Continue to walk with God and build upon the great foundation that has been laid in your life and he will allow your life to unfold beautifully. Thank you, Constants.
Bryce Waggaspack.
Bryce, you are creative. You enjoy having a good time and you do very well in academics.
Some of my best memories are the times we have been able to pray together in the altar. I have seen you speak in tongues many times and have watched the tears flow as you have been touched by the presence of God. 1 Timothy 4:12 says, "Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believers in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." As you leave CA, follow this scripture and Bryce God's blessings will flow in your life. Thank you, Samuel Whitfield.
Samuel, you are talented in many ways and sensitive to the presence of God. I have watched you cry and pray in the altar on several occasions. You have solid direction for your life and are already well on your way to being a licensed electrician. 1 Corinthians 3:12 says, "For other foundation can no man lay that is laid, which is Jesus Christ." Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble, every man's work shall be made manifest. Samuel, your foundation is Jesus Christ. Now build wisely on that foundation and your life will be richly blessed. Thank you, Samuel. Why don't we give it up for all the seniors of the class of 2026?
Class of 2026.
We have had many special times right down here at the altar in the presence of God. This class knows how to live life at the altar. While you are going to the next chapter of your lives, the altar will still be there. We will still meet you at the altar at each church service as we are all touched and renewed by the presence of God. Class of 2026, we love you. And remember, as our pastor tells us, with God the best is yet to come. Thank you.
When we came into this world, they were getting ready to leave.
They blazed the trail of truth to show the way to you and me.
Perhaps they may have asked the times, "Will they live it? When we're gone, will they carry this message and stand up us straight and strong?"
Because the truth that they held dear way is clear.
We don't have to struggle searching for the way.
>> The clear note that the sounding is sweeter stone and it's growing louder every time.
For his truth endures to all generations.
every nation tribe and for his truth endures through all situations to the ages.
to wonder if the word of God will last.
>> For what the Lord has promised, will always come to pass.
>> Someone will always be believing.
Someone will be receiving it.
His truth endures to all generations.
It's passed to 38.
salvation, holiness and consecration is the message that was sent from God above.
We don't want to change it. We don't care to rearrange it.
We love it just the way it came to us.
for his truth endures to all generations.
Every nation striving for his truth enders through all situations to the ages and the world to wonder If the word of God will last, >> for what the Lord has promised will always come to us.
>> Someone will always be believing.
Someone will be receiving.
His truth endures to all generations.
Deuteronomy 36 4-5 Here the Lord our God is one Lord and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy mind, with all thy soul, with all thy heart.
>> For unto us a child is born. Unto us a son is given. The government shall be upon his shoulders, and his name shall be called wonderful counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting father, the prince of peace. Follow peace and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above any name. And with that name every knee shall bow of things in heaven, and things in earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
>> Neither is there salvation in any other.
For there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
and without controversy. Great is the mystery of godliness. God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, and received up into glory.
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Peter said unto them, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all of you that are a far off, even as many as of the Lord our God shall call.
We love it just the way it came to us.
for his truth endures to all generations, every nation, tri for his truth enders through all situations to the ages.
We don't ever have to wonder if the word of God will last.
>> For what the Lord has promised will always come to pass.
>> Someone will always be believing.
Someone will fear receive.
Someone will be receiving.
is true to all generations.
Hey people.
tonight. We are celebrating the accomplishments of our young people.
And I want to echo the words that have already been spoken by the administration of this school and tell each and every one of these young people how much we love you and appreciate you and how godly proud we are of you. Could we just show our love and appreciation to these students?
Graduations are notoriously lengthy, but I can guarantee you that my remarks will not be. I share a unique opportunity this evening with our head of academy, brother Seth T. Pomemeroy, in that both of us have graduates in this class tonight.
And this is a very special moment.
In fact, the writer of Ecclesiastes said this.
To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
On the fourth day of creation, God in his infinite wisdom established time for those who would dwell on earth.
Genesis 1:14 says, "And God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years."
The Hebrew word used for seasons in this verse carries the idea that God orders time itself.
With each tick of the clock, with each setting of the sun, with each new moon, and with each sunrise in the east, God orders each and every moment.
Young people, your lives are made up of individual moments.
I have the privilege of remembering most of you when you entered into kindergarten.
How cute, how adorable, how young, innocent, excited, enthralled with life you were. And here we are 12 years later, standing in this sanctuary about to walk across the platform to receive your diploma.
It is a unique moment.
Alen, the great lion in CS Lewis's Narnia series says this to Lucy.
Things never happen the same way twice.
That was for you, Beatatrice.
Things never happen the same way twice.
There will never be another moment like this moment.
You may stack half the alphabet behind your name and participate in many commencement exercises, but you will never graduate from Calvary Academy again.
This is a unique moment.
The motto of Calvary Academy is this.
Our mission is to provide students with an academically superior education founded upon the Bible in order to train them to live with purpose and integrity like Daniel and Esther.
I want to speak for just a moment on these two exemplary figures found in scripture. The first is Esther.
Esther was a young Jewish girl who would have gone completely unnoticed.
But by miraculous hand, she was placed in the palace of Persia at a critical moment in history.
When her people faced annihilation, she had to decide whether to remain silent and enjoy the palace or risk everything to stand before the king.
Mori's words framed her destiny.
He said, "Who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"
And as Esther answered with courageous resolve, "If I perish, I perish."
Young ladies and young men, Esther teaches us that God often places ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances for a unique moment that will never come again.
and courage and resolve to do what is right in that moment can change everything.
Daniel was a young man taken captive into Babylon.
His name was changed. He was far from home, thrust into a pagan culture that challenged his faith.
Yet Daniel purposed in his heart not to defile himself with the Babylonian culture, but he remained faithful to the one true God.
When critical moments came in Daniel's life, whether interpreting dreams, standing before kings, thrown into a lion's den, or speaking truth to those in authority, he was ready because three times a day he had prepared himself in the privacy of his prayer closet.
Daniel teaches every young man and every young woman that a unique moment does not begin when the opportunity arrives.
It begins in the daily disciplines that prepare you to stand when your moment comes.
Even if it means standing alone. Young people, God created the seasons. He created the times. He created the years. He created this very moment. And tonight, this is your moment. And we celebrate this moment with each of you. The psalmist said in Psalm 90:12, "So teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom."
Young people, wise men and women, understand that life is made up of moments, each one unique, and each one matters. And we should realize that the time we have on this earth has been given to us by God and we should use it wisely.
The Apostle Paul admonishes you tonight from Ephesians 5. See then that ye walk circumspectly.
Another translation says it like this.
Consider carefully how you live, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil.
Class of 2026, time cannot be saved. It cannot be reserved.
Time can only be spent.
I challenge you by the power of the Holy Ghost here tonight to consider carefully how you live the rest of your life.
Don't be a fool. Be a wise person.
Redeem these moments. Use them for the kingdom of God. The writer of Ecclesiastes wrote this and I close with it. Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.
For there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom in the grave, whether thou goest.
The sage was saying to all of you tonight, right now is the moment. Right now is the time to give life all you can.
You can't do it in the grave.
Do it while you're breathing. Do it while you're living. May God bless you.
May he order every step. May he keep you in every moment. And may you continue to be Daniels and Esther's living with purpose and in integrity. God bless you.
I love each of you tonight.

Could we all stand? We're going to pray one prayer of blessing upon these young people. Bishop, we want you to come ministry.
We'd like for you to extend your hand in the direction of these seniors. Let's pray over them. Let's pray blessings upon their lives here tonight.
Would you reach your hand in this direction?
Come on, let's lift up our voices of prayer for them tonight. Righteous God, we come here before you tonight. We thank you for these great young people.
Lord, we thank you for the vow stone they have reached. We pray over them. We pray blessings. We pray help. We pray anointing. We pray a hedge about them.
Oh God, that you would keep their minds, Lord. You would order their steps, God.
Give them the strength to stand in this terrible and evil day that we're living in >> the name of Jesus. Guide their futures, Lord. Guide their ministries, God.
Anoint every single one of them. Set before them. Open doors that no man can shut. Let the anointing of the Lord multiply upon them. Good measure pressed down, shaken together, running over. Let it overflow in their lives in power, in blessing, in goodness, in favor in the name of Jesus Christ.
ful young people. Let the peace of God go with them. That they would redeem the times. I pray that you would bring these prophetic words that have been spoken over each one. Let them remember them through the good times, the bad times.
Set your favor upon them. Give them wisdom from above. Give them that peace and prosperity from above and from beneath. God, let your peace go with them. We pray it all in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. He is a good God. They've got a bright future with the Lord. The best is yet to come.
Hallelujah. Before I present the class, I want to say I'm so thankful we live in the state of Arkansas and that our governor has given us the Learns Act that has been a huge financial blessing to our school. Hey, are you thankful for that? this year, every student's tuition was covered. We're richly blessed by that. I'm so thankful. And also, of course, we separated the school legally from the church. And there's actually a school board now that helps us. And uh I'm sure they're out in the audience, but I'd like to just honor them tonight.
Why don't we give it up for those on the school board, Calvary Academy School Board. Together, we're making this the best that it can be. Now, I would like to present to you the class, the graduating class of 2026.
Seniors, you may turn your tassels.
Heat. Heat.
Heat.
