In the Starstruck puzzle game, players must place exactly one star in each row, column, and colored region, with the constraint that stars cannot touch each other even diagonally. The solving strategy involves identifying regions with limited placement options and using elimination to determine star positions, starting with the most constrained areas.

Starstruck May 12, 2026 | Netflix PuzzledAdded:
Hello, let's do the Netflix Puzzled Starstruck for May 12th. This one's called Puzzle Party. Uh we'll do the easy then the hard. The easy is called Puzzle Party.
All right. So, the way we play this game is in each row, each co- column, and each colored region, we need to place exactly one star, and also uh stars can't touch each other, even diagonally. So, a star here and a star here would not be allowed.
All right. So, this is a gimme, this is a gimme.
Now, gray has only one place for a star.
Yellow has one place for a star.
Green's in one of those two, it eliminates from here, but also these two cuz they touch all of green.
Brown is down to this one, green's down to this one, indigo's down to that one, and then red. This was a This was a pure plunker. I didn't have to do that two-cell region. I just hadn't noticed brown yet.
All right. Could probably do that one in 10 to 15 seconds.
All righty.
Uh Yeah, I messed up again.
All right.
Someone said the back button, but I never remember to press it. All right.
This one's called Starstruck.
Oh, it's by Murat Kantarcı. That's a new setter.
At least not a common one.
All right. Let's play.
All right. sts.t All right. Um two-cell region So, we get rid of all these.
Uh this is an uh that one eliminates from here. Oh, one-cell region. I just noticed that. We don't usually have one-cell regions in the hard, so I didn't notice.
Uh we get rid of all those for blue, get rid of these for gray. Oopsie, too many.
These for gray. Red's in one of these two, so we can eliminate all of these.
Brown's in these.
Uh indigo sees this one.
Row, column.
For what it's worth.
Um Is there like an obvious like next step here?
Oh, yes, this dark orange is one of these two, so that's out. That gives us the blue.
Now red is this one, gray is this one.
Green is one of these, so that's out.
That gives us brown.
Okay.
We got this one, and so now orange is this guy. That gives us yellow and indigo and green. All right.
Pretty uh straightforward hard today, but we do have a new setter, so they might be calibrating.
Uh be interesting to see if we get more from from that setter or not.
Well, how'd you do?
