In celebrity legal disputes, public statements and media presence can significantly impact the outcome of legal proceedings, as demonstrated by Ray J's strategy of publicly revealing details about his sex tape settlement with the Kardashians, which forced the situation into arbitration while simultaneously undermining their defamation claims by exposing their alleged fabrication of the origin story.

Ray J Just Said Kris Jenner Could Put A Hit On Him… And Outed Her As The Tape ProducerAñadido:
What's up, YouTube? We are at T-Shirt Tales um channel. How y'all doing, man? Uncle Mike is still in the fiddle um Philippines. Two more days I'll be getting back on the plane. That went so fast, man.
Man, 30 days go by too fast. So, I'll be back home. We got work to do, y'all. A team, my team, we got work to do, baby. We got some serious work to do.
>> [music] >> Um look, hey, check this out, man. Kevin Hart roast was a humili- humiliation ritual exposed. Hit that subscribe button, hit that bell. Let's see what T-Shirt Tales is talking about this. Hit that subscribe button, hit that bell. Let's check it out.
>> Surely lost his gig hosting the Academy Awards because of some homophobic tweets, but you'd be homophobic, too, if you were eye level WITH EVERYONE'S OH MY GOD.
OH MY GOD.
THAT'S COLD.
That's cold right there.
God damn.
Oh my god. Let's start over, man. Hit that subscribe button, hit that bell.
Let's go. Surely lost his gig hosting the Academy Awards because of some homophobic tweets, but you'd be homophobic, too, if you were eye level with everyone's He got into a fist fight on a private plane. Proof that no matter how much money black people have, they're still just going to act like ninjas.
Always fighting.
Like Bill Cosby, Hart is a black comedian from Philadelphia. And like Bill Cosby, women don't know when Kevin is inside of them.
You've done good, though, Kevin. The black community is so proud of you.
Right now, George Floyd is looking up as had us all laughing so hard that he can't breathe.
Oh my god. That's cold.
That's Oh my god. What the heck? The reason why so many black men are okay with white people saying racist jokes or saying the N-word around them is because a lot of black men resent their blackness because to them their blackness is the only thing standing in the way between them having full complete power, [music] privilege, and access that white men have. Okay, no, but can we talk about this one, y'all?
Because this is in relation to the Kevin Hart roast. [music] Now, while I have not seen the roast and don't plan to, I have seen a lot of you all talking about the racist jokes being made and questioning why Kevin Hart would laugh and find it funny cuz he's a black man. And the answer is because Kevin Hart's blackness has a [music] price.
His racial self-esteem has a price.
And a lot of black men are the same exact way. For the right price, they will shut the hell up or even go as far as to laugh and entertain racism because in their mind, because they resent their blackness, because they view their blackness as the one thing standing in the way of experiencing complete privilege that white men experience, they're okay with exchanging their blackness to if if if they're if they're able to get power, [music] privilege, and access in return. Well, wouldn't you I mean wouldn't you keep your mouth shut or or do something if you're getting paid to do it? I don't understand that.
What kind of job you got? I bet you I'm going to go all through your job and say, "Are you doing this for the money, but yet you shouldn't be doing this?"
You can You can find racism in anything.
And why I got to be about race? It could be just that Yo, everybody else talk about race.
Why not I'm a comedian and I'm showing that I can uh take a joke. It's just a joke. Laugh.
And be done. Nah, I feel as though they shouldn't be making that joke. Well, don't make the joke. Turn the TV off.
And for a lot of them, because they can't just wake up white, [music] that's money.
The next best thing is money.
But because black men experience the privilege the privilege of being men, I want to wake I don't want to wake up right Um um white.
I want to wake wake up right.
But I think that a lot of people don't want to change their their their race or their skin color.
That ain't going to do it. I just want to wake up happy.
That's it. Happy. I'm God gave me this.
This is me. I'm proud to be black. I'm proud to be me. Whoever I is, that's who I'm proud to be and that's it. And why we can't just leave it at that?
Jesus, here we go. They're getting a taste of how good they could have it if they were white men. And I think a lot of them struggle with that reality and in that struggle they begin to resent their blackness and look at it as a thing that they can barter or use to barter with or exchange with to get access to more power, more wealth, more privilege when in reality that's not what's happening at all.
And this happens from black men all the way down to black boys. I have had to break up black boys playing slave and master.
And when I explain to the boys, black boys, why that's so inappropriate, they think it's not a big deal.
I've had to break up black boys playing cops I don't think it's a big deal even if that's what they want to play.
I don't think it's a big deal what I mean I don't think nobody was playing that game in the first place. I don't think she made that part up. Unless they was watching Roots and watching some type of movie so they went outside and start playing like they doing in the movie.
I don't think some black people will be playing a slave game. That's just my opinion. Now the cops and robbers that's all >> playing slave and master.
And when I explain to the boys, black boys, why that's so inappropriate, they think it's not a big deal.
I've had to break up black boys playing cops and thugs.
I've had to call out black boys for saying for for not not for allowing >> [music] >> their white counterparts to say the n-word around them. And each time it's not a big deal. They don't get it. And the reason why we don't see nearly as many black women doing the same thing is because we don't experience a taste of privilege.
So we for us ignorance [music] is bliss.
We don't know how green quote-unquote the grass could be. So we're cool chilling in our own grass.
But I think for a lot of black men because of that taste they want the whole meal and are willing to sacrifice all parts of them including their racial self-esteem to get it.
So yeah, hope this helps.
Ow, man. Nobody watches that, right?
They would just watch the clips online, then you got to wait till the end to see who the writers were, and then you go back and watch it. And you was like, "Wow, not a lot of black writers, but a lot of black jokes."
Some of those weren't even jokes, they were just straight-up racist, but hey, that's the But but for Kevin Hart, see a common theme for for Shane and a few of the people that went up there was Kevin Hart don't know how to say no. Mhm.
Kevin Hart, that was the joke of the night.
>> Oh, they was killing that.
>> you a funny movie, so which means you pass on it. Yeah, he passes it in with the He can't say no to nothing, and that right there highlights the difference for me between him and Dave Dave Chappelle.
Because there is there's not a moment where you going to see Dave Chappelle Dave Chappelle is not going to be for lack of a better term there's not going to be a millisecond where he appear to be cooned out.
>> Cooning.
Agreed. Cooning. And I think that's some of the some of the slack that Kev has had to deal with. This is one of those instances for me. Okay. Those >> fine cameras are recording you and that will be a moment in time us being able to go back to Tony's bum-ass George Floyd joke and see your reaction. I'm getting too passionate on this, so I'll toss it to one of but I would I I didn't like it, and I keep having to see him because he's funny. No, I think I think it was at the end of his set, and I think also a lot of those people they left the discernment to the person speaking.
Damn, Jon.
That was crazy. When I say that was crazy, I I never watched it, man, because I didn't want to get upset. I knew it was going to be some When I seen Katt Williams there, cuz Katt Williams was almost beefing with Kevin Hart. Now, he roasting him?
The publicist is speaking saying, "It ought to be a good idea to have Kevin on my you had being there." Kevin ain't going to say no, just like he said.
Kevin Man, Kevin in it Kevin try to be a billionaire.
Kevin wants to be a billionaire by any means necessary. He see that his comedy can get him there to a billionaire sta- status.
His boys and everybody that he promised they go they all millionaires.
Kevin is sitting with over more than 200 million dollars, 200 million dollars.
Each one of his boys got a million dollars in the bank.
And he promised them that.
[clears throat] And guess what? It happened. So, check this out, man. One more craziness, man.
Too much craziness give me a crazy headache. Um Ray J, I keep saying I'm I ain't going to mess with this dude, but I think Ray J done outsmarted somebody.
Let's see how smart Ray J done did.
Let's check it out, man. So, um Kim and Chris are trying to ruin Ray J financially, and Ray J still won't shut up. Baby, Ray J has just doubled down on all the claims he made against Kim and Chris. Now, the funny thing is Kim and Chris thought they had won this round because here's the thing, Ray J showed that there was a non-disclosure agreement. Ray J showed that that made a payment about $6 million.
Ray J basically proved that they've been lying about everything about their origin story and all this other stuff, all right? It was huge and everybody wanted to see what the contract and all this other stuff said, okay? Now, hold on, I'm getting there. So, Chris and Kim did what they did best. They brought in Alex Barrel, one of the illest and realest lawyers to ever do that. Alex's team came in and said, "Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no.
It's not the fact of what you're talking about because that's covered under our old NDA. And the old NDA prohibits you from talking about this mess in public.
So, you better be quiet. However, it does not permit us from suing you publicly in court for defamation because it's in a separate claim that's not directly related to the NDA. Now, I know what you're saying, that don't make any sense and it really doesn't and it was a little bit of legal amazingness, okay?
Shoot, really? Because it put Ray J in a fact of all the things embarrassing to them had to go to mediation. All the things that embarrass Ray J will be a put publicly. They basically ran a Black Chyna play where Black Chyna sued the Kardashians, she lost the court case, but it's because they were able to keep so much out it made Black Chyna look crazy, all right? So, they thought they had all their bases covered. They were literally like, "Huh, smacking hands, looks like it went well." Except for the fact that they didn't count on the fact that Ray J was like, "Oh, you want to act stupid? Well, guess what? I'm about to act dumb." They didn't understand the fact that Ray J really feels like he has nothing to lose. Now, what are they suing Ray J for? They want $7 million in damages, which means they want all the money they paid Ray J so they could get that fake Keeping Up With the Kardashians storyline going plus an extra million.
Well, guess what? Ray J just destroyed, and I mean destroyed, that dream because he just did an interview where he told all the business. He told the low down dirty shame, the fact that he maintains that Chris was intricate in releasing that tape, the Kardashians were behind it. Now, again, hear me out before I read this article. Oh, he also said that Chris could put a hit out on me.
He always saying that.
put it past them. Like, they are billionaires based off of a lie. And if you are a billionaires based off of a lie that for whatever reason you cannot just come out and say it was a lie. If it was different and they're like, "I don't have any shame. I will live my life with a lie Like, I I I'm not lying anymore." Then that would take away the power, but for whatever reason they need that lie to stand. Again, the Kardashians are really steeped in a lot of misinformation. For instance, Kim wanting to go to college to be a lawyer to follow in her follow father's footsteps. Her father was never a practicing lawyer. In the fact that he was a businessman who got a law degree.
He got his money off of FroYo and doing all this other stuff. He The O.J.
Simpson case was basically the first case he'd ever tried. Definitely, he wasn't a criminal lawyer. And Shawn Holly was Robert Kardashian's girlfriend. I know he had a secret black girlfriend. I did a whole deep dive on it. Um according to the book The Kardashians: An American Legacy, and also when Shawn Holly was the one that helped Robert Kardashian get his image and his money up, and he kept her like a dirty little secret. Again, the Kardashians, lies, misinformation, race, money, using black bodies in bed, and it has a long history. But, hear me out, right? Let's get back to Ray J's crazy self because Ray J Ray J just destroyed their scheme by doubling down on that.
Now, get this. He said Ray J was TMZ reports that Ray J is hurling some wild accusations Uh uh Kris Jenner's way saying he wouldn't put it past her to order a hit on him. But sources tell TMZ this is a flat-out lie.
How can this be a flat-out lie?
He said he wouldn't put it past her. He didn't say she did it. He didn't say she wouldn't do it or she would do it. He said, "I wouldn't put it past her." It's about time Ray J you woke up and started playing the Kardashians game with them.
On Wednesday's episode of The Jason Lee Show, Ray J said he's on alert that the momager might try to do something to him as his countersuit against her and Kim heads to arbitration. Now again, it's going to arbitration. That means whatever they discuss, whatever details that come out, it's all going to be secret. Okay? Um Why are the Kardashians anyway?
They said Jason followed up by asking Ray J if he thinks Kris would drop a bag to have a hit done. And Ray J says he's not ruling it out. But sources tell TMZ that Ray J is spreading false news and Kris has zero interest in engaging. If y'all are so not interested in Ray J, then why are you giving comments to TMZ?
This is clearly coming from the Kardashian camp.
On top of that, um again, it is weird. They're not engaging, but again, they're trying to gather more information to show that Ray J is defaming them. But we do have a right to our opinions. Anyway, they said uh Ray J's locked in a messy legal battle.
He hit back with a countersuit arguing that they violated the sex tape settlement agreement when they kept bringing up the video of on The Kardashians. Last month, a judge ruled that Ray J's countersuit will go to arbitration while Kim and Kris's defamation case will stay in court.
Again, let me just say this, right?
One, a lot of people are saying, "Oh my god, leave it alone. Chris Kim has moved on. She has kids. Stop with the sympathy vote." Because Kim and them have gone out of their way to disrespect, exploit, or lie on anybody they wanted to around that. Kim used that to make a basis for her family's wealth, and also to flip that into being a billionaire. That is her origin story, and no matter how much they scream at Ray J, it's going to be that. Okay? Now, Ray J not need come along, but it's kind of like this. Ray J made a bad deal. He was fine all those years to feed into the narrative, to play into the narrative. He was in bed and business with Kim, right? And definitely in business with Chris. There was no big deal.
What it changed was for the new episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Y'all remember the new season when they had Kanye looking stupid, getting on the airplane to get a copy of the tape cuz they said that Ray J was basically black implied that Ray J was blackmailing her, implied that Ray J was doing all this stuff, implied that they were trying to go back to the poor Kim. Now, why did they do it? Let me just say this, right?
Because if Ray J was smart, this how he would really get them. Kim is obsessed into getting into the moneyed circles.
Not new money, but legacy money. And part of having legacy money, you remember with the Rockefellers is you have to scrub your past clean. The Rockefellers were what? Bootleggers, which were the modern-day equivalent of drug dealers, right?
But they scrubbed their money, they invested into a lot of places, and now people like, "Oh my god, you're a Rockefeller." When when the Rockefellers were in their prime saying, "Oh my god, you're a Rockefeller." You don't even want them sitting in polite society.
I think Kim and Kris are trying to make that jump.
The thing is, they're trying to make that jump because they have that tape that can't go anywhere. Now, some people might be able to forgive it if it was stolen, if it was, you know, against your will. But the people Kim wants to be in the rooms with are never going to accept a woman in the way that Kim and Chris, I believe, want to be accepted. I mean, they'll accept them as like a play thing for the billionaire elite. They'll accept them this, but I don't think they'll ever accept them into polite society with the Kardashian name if they admit that they broke their own sex tape. And not only did they broker it, but the mom was the mastermind behind it and Kim went along with it. And the mom was the producer.
How can a mother be a producer of of the daughter's sex tape, man? That is sickening. Oh.
You know, again, the smearing, the racism, the racist tropes, Ray J was fine with that. Ray J played into that.
But I think what's going on now is Kim is trying to put a period on an end of her life that she can't make go anywhere. She'll always be notorious, but she needs for history to reflect that she was bamboozled, she was led astray, and she was taken advantage of.
And I think that's why they're trying to sue Ray J and get him to be quiet once and for all. Because as long as Ray J is around, history will reflect what the actual record was. You see what I'm saying? In any case, they tried to get Ray J to be quiet. Ray J doubled down. Again, he is who he is who he is. They do have an arbitration.
The thing is with the arbitration, Ray J actually really, really might make money. But them having their dirty laundry in a public seal, but yet they can go out and diminish as Ray J's reputation, it would work for anyone else except for the fact that Ray J doesn't care. His reputation is it's Ray J. Do you see what I'm saying?
He doesn't have a reputation to wreck.
He's been all over. He's done horrible things. He's done funny things. Ray J just doesn't really have a reputation he cares about. To hold on to. So, it's going to be interesting to see what happens. It's going to be interesting to see if the Kardashians can actually win this war against somebody that has the same amount of integrity, ethics, and sense of truth as they do. Anyway, you guys, listen. Let me know what you think in the comments. And also, let me know, do you think that Kim will ever be able to erase her past? Again, I'm not saying she has a scarlet letter. I'm saying in the circles that she wants to be known in and dominate, which is the ultra elite, wealthy, generational money, that tape is a big hindrance. Kylie and what's her name, Kendall, don't have that problem. But, Kim Kim 100% has that problem. Anyway, you guys, let me know what you think in the comments. I'll talk to y'all later. Bye.
Yeah, this is right up um your boy's alley. This is right up his alley, man.
Ray J loves the drama and all that bull.
I'mma get on up out of here. Y'all take it light, take it slow. Tell 'em Uncle Mike told you so. Peace.
