Pearce offers a compelling look at how drone-led infrastructure attrition is redefining modern conflict by targeting the economic heart of the adversary. It’s a sobering reminder that in contemporary war, the most significant battles are often fought far from the trenches.

🇺🇦 Hits Tuapse Oil Port AGAIN! Perm Still Burning Big Time | Ukraine War News Update 20260501Added:
Hello team. Welcome to another ATP Geopolitics video with myself Jonathan MS Pierce. This is Ukraine war news update for the first of May. Pinch and a punch for the first of the month. No returns. Uh 2026. We I'm a little bit late to it today. Sorry. Uh a bit of a late night last night. I've got a late night tonight. I've got a bunch of friends coming around. We've got a games night. Bit of a board games night. Some geeky. Some wine. Some good laughs to be had for sure. But that might affect both my output this afternoon evening. I will I'm not likely to get anything done and also maybe tomorrow morning. I don't think there are any football matches for my boys tomorrow. So, uh might be a lion for me tomorrow. So, that may affect my output too. Okay, that said, what are we going to be reporting on today? Tapsi has been hit again for the fourth time in two weeks. Pretty incredible. As soon as the fires go out, they are then reignited. I I keep wondering on a nightly and morning basis what Ukraine is going to hit, what it will have hit the night before. Uh thinking that they're rotating around these different um oil refineries and depots and wondering whether they because they often return like they've returned to Tapsi number of times. I think it's like now the sixth time to hit in total. But you're thinking so what's the value of of continuing to take place out? Surely that refinery is done for. But then there are still many many tanks uh to hit and and I guess that's full of they are full of oil uh crude oil or refined oil and that has value you know that ends up getting um shifted somewhere that they're making money out of that.
Even though it might to actually might not be functional at the moment, being hit again will reduce Russia's ability to make any money out of what remains there. Um, and some people are equating how much money these tanks are worth in terms of the amount of oil inside them.
And, uh, that's worth, you know, x million worth of of oil. and hitting it with a relatively cheap drone is a good return on investment for the Ukrainians.
Perm is still on fire. That's in trouble as well. I think there are other strikes. We're yet to hear of battle damage assessment, what's been hit, but I think Marupal was a bit fiery last night. But also the Ukrainians are at the moment withstanding a huge attack today or an ongoing one of these long drawn out attacks. Maybe swarms of drones potentially around Turnipill, Kiev as well. Really busy and a desert I believe too. So lots to go through.
Let's go to the details. Before we get there, please remember to like, subscribe, and share. Keep yourselves ahead of the loop as to what is going on in Ukraine and beyond. Okay, details.
I haven't even shared my screen yet. So, we're going to start with the Ukrainian general staff figures for the Russian losses for the day before. All the usual caveats apply, of course. And we've got another day of insane losses here. Just these are recordbreaking losses for sure. Um, right, we have uh 1,420 personnel lost. This is exactly what the Ukrainians are going to want to see, what Robert Brody's been talking about.
treating the Russians well above recruitment numbers. Last couple of days we have seen phenomenal numbers here and phenomenal numbers in artillery systems.
Yesterday it was over 100. Today 100 artillery systems. This is insane. And then or vehicles and fuel tanks. 43 vehicles and fuel tanks. I mean what the heck is going on there? Just insane numbers. Now there's a new link for Dell's stats. They have not been the link broke for some reason. It quite often does this. This one drive link that we have open for you guys to look at the stats. But as we look at the stats here, uh we can see we can look to see if that there are any uh records that are being broken. Um if we go down to this yellow cell here, that refers to vehicles and fuel tanks. That is a record. The yellow presents uh represents a record. So 403 is the highest art um highest vehicle and fuel tank losses uh during during the course of the war. 250 and 214 respectively are 7 days and 30 days rolling averages. Uh 7day 30-day rolling averages they are at record numbers as well. Artillery numbers 119 and 100. Uh insane numbers there. 119 was just a few off the record which is 122. Uh, so we are no doubt going to have very high um well, we're almost at the record for the 30-day average for artillery, which is incredible. So, let let let's then look at the graphs for artillery and um and then vehicles and fuel tanks just to see if there's anything we can derive from the data. Um, as you can see, some real spikes up there. uh just on the right hand side these orange columns are the daily numbers. So 119 is almost as as said almost at the record which is 122.
But this whole area here it's a real purple patch. The purple dotted line gives a trend line and it is gone exponential. So artillery evidently the Ukrainians are really going explicitly for artillery at the moment. You know what is happening there? What what is in their mind?
What's the objective for taking out artillery? Obviously, they need to do that to prevail in any sense during a war. You they need to take out Russians, everything. Okay. But are they shaping up for some kind of offensive in some kind of area? Is is this a defensive move? I don't know. Um what else? We're going to look at uh vehicles and fuel tanks. Here it is. So, here we have had a couple of very heavy days. Just look at this. 325 uh 75 and then 403. So, two record days in a row for vehicles and fuel tanks. Uh, the trend line has gone exponential. So, artillery and vehicles suggests to me that the Russians are suffering behind the contact line, that the Ukrainians are picking up strikes at probably 15 km to 100 km. Um, these unarmored vehicles are being taken out behind the lines, but as well as that, they're being taken out, no doubt, in the contact zone area where the Russians will still be using them to attack. But I think that this is a representation, a reflection, sorry, of how the the Ukrainians are attacking deeper with these drones. And there there have been talks there's been talk of the Ukrainians ramping up their middle distance strikes that they're trying to expand the drone line as well.
So the drone line is this, you know, a 10 to 15 km corridor where the they want to stop the Russians from moving. Well, there's talk that they're expanding that so it's not just 15 km, but maybe 20 25 km.
This then means that the Ukrainians don't have to commit soldiers to that area because they're just shellacking everything with drones. Uh this then keeps their soldiers safe and saves them from having their own attrition. And I'm going to show you in fact I'm going to bring in now uh something that that kind of feeds into this. So this is at the contact line. Uh we are talking about Halia play direction. This is a few fields back from where Andrew Perpeta and his team have the Russian defensive line here. So it is I don't know a a maybe half kilometer or so uh behind the establish what he thinks is is a line um right in the middle of this kind of drone line area. And what we have here is a video.
It's remarkable video. This um I mean you don't see too well. What do we see?
We see a reconnaissance drone with very good quality resolution footage checking out a Russian soldier. He here you can see him move and they're they're tracking him. So actually the first this is a six minutee video give or take. Uh, and the first bunch of minutes is tracking this soldier as he thinks he's I presume he can hear the drone in the distance. I don't know how far this drone is actually away from the soldier because it might have a pretty good zoom on it. Um, whe is it going to be a larger vampire drone this or is this just a Mavic? Uh, I I don't know. But anyway, he might or might not know the drone is there. And that's why he keeps doing these kind of run between the trees and then hide hides behind a tree and then does a little sprint with his stuff. As again, the idea I think is that he he's uh trying not to be seen. He recognizes that there is there are eyes in the sky looking at him. Anyway, so this drone is tracking him. I think it loses him possibly at this point. um trying to find where he's gone to but has been tracking him. And then you see here uh so we're at sort of halfway through the video this other drone turns up some kind of vampire drone. Andrew Perpetual says a Ukrainian drone, I think a vampire, maybe a Kazan drone. Turns up with a gun beneath it, right? And then it is firing into the tree line at this soldier, right? One presumes. And it's firing so much you can just see some glints of um light come off at at times, I think, if I remember correctly. Uh which seem to indicate that it is firing rounds. Um, and then it drops something out out of the bottom of it, which I presume is an empty magazine. Um, or or something. I don't know. Yeah, I don't know how. Yeah, you can see the flashes there. There was just some flashes there. So, it's definitely I think firing into the tree at this point and then it drops something from below it.
Um, so possibly an empty magazine, but then how does it put a new magazine or like what's going on there? So, unless it's dropping a mine as well. Um, who knows? But um yeah, there it is. So, so it just as it's uh it's sort of firing and then right here it drops something at the bottom. You can see the flashes and maybe that's some kind of magazine tray or something. Um, anyway, the reason I'm showing you this is because what's happening here is you have ISR, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, uh, taking place, finding troops. Then you send in your assault team, and your assault team is no longer a bunch of people, um, getting there in a Humvey, allighting from their vehicles, and then attacking the tree line. You have a drone with a machine gun in the air shooting at the and there's something else drops again. So, possibly a couple of uh magazines thrown into, you know, laying down fire into the tree line and then the drone gets out of dodge. I don't know if they were successful in taking out the guy in the treeine, but I thought that was really worthy of note. Right, this next video is supposedly of 15 paratroopers being taken out in Rasha by the seventh core. Uh this is a settlement just north west of Prosk and is where they are fighting really uh heavily over both the Russians and Ukrainians. As you can see now it's a pretty much a flattened settlement. Uh but this looks to be guarded guy bomb smashing into Frica and supposedly taking out 15. That one strike if you believe the numbers there.
And I, you know, it's always going to be a lot of guesstimation with these sort of numbers. As I've said many, many times, that gives you sort of 1% of what's going on on the front line. So just one strike in one place, 1% of the the daily casualties there. Um so anyway uh we have as well on the list two tanks, three armored combat vehicles as mentioned 100 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, one air defense system, 403 vehicles and fuel tanks, just incredible number and two pieces of special equipment. We have 1,924 operational tactical drones. So the Russians ramping up their drone usage by the looks of it. Um whether I I assume is is slightly better then as well that could have something to do with it. Ukrainian defense intelligence has inflicted the largest losses on Akmat. Uh so these are the chchnian special forces if you like but actually the Akmat uh regiment is now not just full of chens there lots of Russians in them as well ethnic Russians. So um yeah has inflicted the largest losses on Akamat since the start of the full scale invasion. Shamanbat and operational units of the defense intelligence together with 104th territorial defense brigade launched drone and artillery uh strikes on Akamat's vehicles and armored equipment in March of 2026. A video with more details coming very soon. Uh so this guy says I'm just going to read you what he says. Um so uh Putin and Kadiraov are throwing you here to be killed. Um there are 10 to 15 drones for every one person here. the largest losses of the Rosadia Akamat since um since 2022. At least 40 of you have been killed and over 80 wounded. Why are these bodies lying here? No one is collecting them. He says um take care of yourselves and cross over to our side. Save your souls. So this is kind of an appeal to Akmat uh fighters from I presume a Chchen who is fighting for the Ukrainians or or something now. not 100% sure of the context, but the claim is that the AKAT are taking really bad losses themselves.
Um, right, we're going to go to Sam Bendett here, who is a bit of a drone expert himself. Well worth following on Twitter. He says, "Russia's Rubicon Center." So, these are the answer to the unmanned systems forces, the Maguiel's birds from Russia. They are have their own targeting stats for April 2026.
Maintaining emphasis on striking Ukrainian drones, unmounted ground vehicles, comms, and command and control stations, dugouts, and light vehicles.
Um, so here are their stats. Um, although I'm not 100% sure what uh all of that means there. Uh but yeah, Russia's uh um Rubicon Center do produce their own stats. It appears rather like unmanned assistance forces and it just shows I think how much they are trying to emulate the USF and and what Robert Profy is doing there. Uh a Ukrainian drone strike on strikes a Russian vehicle here at a checkpoint. The drone resembles a Bulava or Ram 2X loitering munition. We are starting to see again a number of a variety of drones being utilized by the Ukrainians. Some of these different fixedwing drones. Here is either a RAM 2X or a Bava. Um so they they have the Ukrainians these equivalents to the Lancets that are are being utilized. Um obviously it's horses for courses. So you you know you don't want to be using very expensive really big warhead drones such as the FP2 can go 200 km 60 to 160 kg of warhead. Yeah if you're just taking out cananker or similar you just want to hit that with a 5 kg warhead something like a Bulava or a RAM 2 uh X. Now, I was asked in the thread yesterday or the day before, you know, what's going on with Atesh?
Haven't really heard much of the Partisan group. I hope they're okay type thing. Yeah, just cons I have been reporting on stuff they've been doing fairly consistently. So, they they really are doing the the normal stuff that they do. Here's Max 25 yesterday saying Interapp said a communication station near the 338th radio technical regiment was set on fire. Um, so that is atesh in Soi, a transformer substation near the 1,721st anti-aircraft missile regiment was destroyed. Uh, and indeed you can follow atesh on Twitter. Uh, they're really good to follow. Atesh reports that the Russian forces are unable to advance in the negro delta in Kon region due to critical shortage of boats. So they don't just do sabotage, they also collect intelligence. Atesh really important. and they will locate targets for the Ukrainians to then go and hit from, you know, using weapons from within Ukraine.
Atesh here says most high-speed boats have been destroyed, leaving units cut off on the islands and disrupting troop movements, uh, rotations and resupply.
Um, so ates still are very very active and Russia on fire. I haven't reported much on Russia on fire. I I generally get it from Tim White who has his own hashtag Russia on fire. uh tweets and and posts and whatnot because there I presume there just haven't been as many but just lately there have been a number of places I've reported on a construction site to a building being constructed in Moscow burning down an interesting blaze on the outskirt and Moscow region all the signs of another insurance job in the patil cor here. So, another building appears to be on fire. Could well be an insurance job as a result of the uh the prospects, the economic prospects for Russia given the unnecessary war in Ukraine. Right now, on to distance strikes.
We start with the overnight drone attack into Ukraine. 210 drones. So, they've got they've ramped up their numbers of drones being sent. I think the Russians I think well let's have a look at the oh no we it's a general staff numbers for the drones here uh I know Benny Pi's been working on a dashboard that looks only at the so what happens basically nowadays because the general staff figures have changed the way that they count drones. So unmanned systems forces now collect all the drone interceptions they they succeed with and those are kind of FPV drones or reconnaissance drones or you know the the molers and and whatnot.
So this data point now it it used to refer generally to the overnight drone attacks now is just everything that happens in 24 hours including FPVs.
And this sheet is about the overnight drone and missile numbers. And so from this sheet, Benny Pi's been generating um a dashboard, but it's still in its beta stage. Um but this will give us an idea of what has happened overnight and the trends overnight. But my intuitive sense is that we are seeing fewer really big drone attacks. But actually they are at the moment this last week they've ramped up to do like instead of like 100 to 150 drones a night we're starting to move to the late 100s into the 200s on a more regular basis. So there's been a bit of a change there. I don't know what that means. Have they ramped up production numbers or is this same production numbers but aortioned over a week in a different way? We're also seeing quite a few attacks during the day. So, you're getting these numbers and then actually it kind of it because it cuts off at 8:00 a.m. in the morning, you don't actually get a proper sense of what's going on a whole 24-hour period in terms of the shahed and gerbra style drones. And sometimes they bring out a further one of these blue infographics halfway through the day saying, "And there's been another 200 drones blah blah blah blah." So, anyway, last night 210 190 taken out. So that's 20 out of 210 being uh being able to get through. Depends how many were still in the air, but assuming 20 got through then that is above a 90% interception rate which is pretty good. Um but it seems that they are just continuing throughout the day as mentioned. So there is a continued attack at the moment. I think we might be um details will emerge, but I think today's going to be pretty difficult for the Ukrainians. And what we're also seeing is that the Russians are starting to attack much more explicitly petrol stations, gas stations on the roads, you know, commercial petrol stations. Uh since early morning, Russia's been attacking Ukraine with drones, says Anton Gerishankin Hak and Chu. There are fires after Russian attacks on gas stations, civilian objects. So, I think four of them have been attacked this morning. More Russian drones are entering Ukrainian airspace. We are warned about a possible massive drone attack today. This is a big problem because actually petrol station, they've got a really good petrol station network. They they're great. The petrol stations in Ukraine, they're really good like shops, food, everything. They're just like just modern and really decent.
Uh and I think they're quite important obviously for economic commercial reasons. And if Russia is going to be explicitly taking these out, and you can do that with smaller drones as well, uh that might be a bit of an issue for Ukraine. Tim White says, "While Ukraine hits our refineries and terminals, primarily affecting Russian fuel exports and therefore the Kremlin's war funds.
Russia suddenly massively increased attacks on gas and petrol stations. It's clearly a policy change with many regions affected, especially in HKE today. So, as mentioned, I think four of them taken out. I think he I thought he mentioned it elsewhere. Um but anyway, uh yeah, definitely a an issue. Um just trying to see what else. Uh yeah, attack on Adessa last night. I showed said Tim White apartment blocks on fire. Five people have been injured.
Another 26 25 needing psychological help for shock. Uh there was also a separate attack on the Danub ports, the river Danube on the Ukraine Romanian border just south of Adessa. Infrastructure was damaged there. Though authorities have not been specific about which port and there are no photos, plenty of photos of damage to people's homes in the city of Adessa. So when it's damaged to civilian property, the photos will come out. When it's more sensitive and shows that Russia may have had some success in infrastructural strikes, they generally are more reluctant to show the photos of that. This morning alone, the here it is. Four gas stations have been hit with one man injured and many cars damaged.
One was in the town of Chuhiv while other small drone attacks hit the Kski Saltski and Slobis Sloidki districts. Also in Hark there was a Nazi attack on a village of Leotivka and Zulichie. Four small houses were damaged, one completely destroyed but thankfully no one was hurt. Um so the Ukrainians under the Kosh today. This is Kiev. Sky over Kiev is constantly buzzing with a large number of shaheds in the air, says Max 25. Um, fingers crossed that they get the Ukrainians get to intercept those. And the Midwestern city of Turnipil in Ukraine is under a drone swarm attack right now, says Tim White. There have been three explosions so far, not all due to air defense, though, so that's a bit worrying, right? Um, that's the some of what I know at the moment about what's happened in Ukraine from Russian attacks. Now, Ukraine, we know they hit Perm. I mean, this is one of the videos from yesterday of one of the two places. So, it appears that the refinery in Perm was hit uh and the pumping station, the linear pumping uh station there uh hit and I think this is at the pumping station. Close-up view of the burning per P perm oil pipeline control station 1,500 km from the front line. So that was huge news yesterday as I reported and in fact you know it didn't seem to get any better throughout the day. One of Russia's largest refineries continues to burn after this morning's Ukrainian drone attack. So this appears to be this the lucal perm nef neforgant said facility used to process between 13 and 15 million uh tons a year. If this is indeed perm there. I mean that does definitely look like it has expanded. Although that looks like an oil tank there. I don't I presume that is indeed the refinery.
Yeah, that looks like refinery.
Um but anyway, there's multiple fires in in that area. So it looks like it's really it really spread there yesterday.
Here you have the oil pumping. This why is kind of ing and uring because I I wonder if that is the refinery or the pumping station. It looks more like big tanks of a pumping station and the kind of depot but can't quite tell.
Anyway, uh here no reports claims the oil pumping station in Per is still burning. Three separate fires are ongoing and I would suggest that could well be this from a different angle in the distance. Um yeah um anyway uh here we have the smoke from burning oil in Perm now extends beyond 450 kilometers according to satellite imagery. So Perm really did develop into a bit of an issue rather like we've seen with the the Toui ones previously. Cyber Barno analysis has shown that a Ukrainian luty drone hit the AVT4 unit in Lucor's perm refinery. So this is definitely the refinery here. So this was one of the images that we saw yesterday of the refinery burning that I show you showed you one of the videos even. Um so the vacuum column was struck was set fire to um the atmospheric distillation column was on fire hitting both columns effectively knocks out the plant's key primary oil processing unit.
So that is a real challenge and indeed here we can see two separate uh places on fire. So I think that right the larger one on the right hand side is your pumping station and the one on the left is your uh refinery but I I could be wrong there.
I don't know. Yeah. So that to me is the one on this is the one on the left hand side and you've got I think towers of the refinery there. But uh yeah uh anyway it was continuing to burn into the evening. This was last night. So you can see still heavy fires burning away there at Perm. And then this morning situation in Perm where Ukraine hit an oil pumping station and a refinery hasn't changed either. The fires are still ongoing. This is from this morning by all accounts showing that actually the fires not only have not abated, they might well have got worse. Uh that one on the left seems to show an awful lot of dark uh clouds in the area. Um, so yeah, last night ongoing explosions at the Perm LPS linear production and oil pumping complex are visible from far away in the night sky. It continues to flash red uh there. Um, and then so that's ongoing but I don't think there were subsequent strikes there where there have been subsequent strikes last night. Swapsy. Okay, this is on the Black Sea coast and here we have a video of the I guess success of containing the fire there. The third one in 12 days as it was. We've now had a fourth strike last night. So this is prior to the strike last night. You can see the massive destruction here to the Torapsi infrastructure. There's still fires burning, but it largely, you know, they've been able to contain, as you can see there, huge fire still going there, or a considerable fire. Uh, but so much destruction to the infrastructure here.
Now, here we go again, said Euromite impress last night. Right now, drones are attacking the Tapsi oil refinery.
Monitoring channels report a new fire starting at the facility. It's a fourth attack over the past few weeks and that was after two attacks previously on the facility and the and the um the the loading facilities at the docks there.
Now yesterday Russian authorities reported that yet another fire interpsy has been extinguished. Well, no worries.
Now the sea terminal and the oil refinary interpy are burning again says Anton Gerishenko. Um here we have claims of Tapsi from or claim that this is from this morning in Tapsi. A new fire raging in southern Russia's oil refinery and export terminal complex after last night's drone attack. The fourth assault on the facility since midappril.
Now let's look at the firms data. Here we have Touapsi and it's on the Black Sea coast as you know. As we go in on the topographical uh base map, I I like this one because it just gives you an indication of some of the refinery and depo uh infrastructure layout. Uh we're going to then go to the live data layer.
We're going to add the firm's data that gives us the um hopefully evidence of you know fires burning. We're going to go time since detection gives us a graduated uh legend there. And what's interesting is we have no firms data. So there's no firms data yet. Now that doesn't mean that there isn't a fire. It just means that the satellite hasn't passed over uh in since that star has a fire has restarted. But it also shows us that the fire has broadly been put out from uh the previous strikes. Uh then what we're going to do, we're going to go now look at perm and see what it tells us about perm. It might have passed over perm a little bit. um more recently. So, here we have perm and oh my goodness. Okay, so first of all, there is a fire that seems to be at the I don't know because I said that this was the refinery yesterday. I don't know if Tierry might I think did he say that actually that's a chemical plant. It's not the refinery refinery somewhere else. Um but but yeah, I don't know.
There needs to one presumes there should be a data point for the refinery though.
Anyway, uh this is a pumping station and that is still uh majorly on fire. So, we have 3 hours ago it was still burning.
Uh and then we have previous um we've got 11 hours ago. We've got uh 3 hours ago there. Um uh yeah, 3 hours 3 hours and then uh 34 hours ago. So, you know, we it's been burning for quite some time now. 36 hours of burning there. uh at least it seems. So that uh pumping station in Perm is in a spot of bother.
Um anyway, so so that's what we know about uh Perm and Toui. But going back to Toui though, there's still more to uh to look at here. So this was what I was just showing you. Uh fourth assault on the facility in the last couple of weeks. And my goodness, officials interpy only emit a fire at the marine terminal. However, the fires show the oil refinery and storage tanks are ablaze. Fire is getting stronger as it spreads. I would say we'll have to wait for the smoke to clear to see the damage, but that could be a while. So, the this is imagery coming out from this morning showing that Ukraine has yet again uh hit Tapsi in a way that you know I I talked about the Greek myth of Cisphus who rolls that boulder up the hill only only for it to fall back down when he gets to the top. For the Russians, they put these fires out only for the Ukrainians to light them again.
And it's this unending cycle at the moment that must really affect their psychology uh in certainly in Tapsi. Uh as Max 25 says, it's getting even hotter in Tapsi. Um we'll see if that spreads.
This is some open source intelligence data or analysis. Fourth round of strikes on the tank farm of the Tapsi oil export port says the cyber bar. We analyze the video of the burning as well as the satellite images from the 28th of April. We can geocate the fire to the area of four tanks of 10,000 cubic meters of oil meters of oil. Of these, at least two are burning. And here we have a satellite image um suggesting that these are the tanks that are now burning with some lines pointing uh to the different elements there. Judging by the image, a pumping station was destroyed in this section of the oil depot marked in purple. The area is completely contaminated with oil that did not have time to burn and remained after the collapse of one of the 20,000 uh me cubic meter tanks. The overpass and the pumping station. Therefore, the total fire at this point may cover a total capacity of 40,000 cubic meters and another 30 to 60,000 cubic meters are at risk. adjacent tanks at 20,000 cubic meters are each are red and 5,000 cubic meters are green. Um, so it it seems that this is where the fire is, but there's risk for other elements to uh to catch fire here. So they've really hit the tanks there, possibly some pumping elements as well. Um, another view of this, this area of the Tapsi reservoir farm is under attack.
According to Oko Gora, three reservoirs are burning, some of which were damaged in the previous attack. Um so that is the claim um from this source. Now this is the essentially the water down here.
Um if we go to toapsy again and yeah, there we go. We're going to go to Tapsi. And now we see that where the last set of strikes was up here, the refinery part here and the tanks over in this area. Huge fires. It was absolutely insane. The time before was down here.
Uh and then this time is now down here.
So they've gone here, north. They've gone basically south, north, and then south again. Uh and uh yeah, so some of these elements being taken out, some of these tanks there. Okay. So that is what's happening in Tousi. Uh looking pretty hellish there. Uh we are then going to go on to Marupople. Have no idea what has been hit but explosions were reported in occupied Marupople.
Footage are captured the moment the impact of one uh of one drone with no visible or audible air defense active. I just want to see if anything has come out. It's pretty much the time things generally start coming out. Um, no. We have uh striking of hangers containing concentrations of enemy personnel and light equipment using four guided glide bombs. Uh, so this could be how they are destroying so much equipment at the moment. You had that video we saw earlier of Akmat losing lots of equipment. Here is supposedly hangers of equipment getting taken out uh by four guided glide bombs that has uh put paid to uh all the equipment one assumes that was underneath people uh soldiers there thereabouts trying to get their friends out of the rubble. Um so definitely personnel here as well as equipment. Um so yeah, aviation in coordination with the intelligence, the 47th separate mechanized brigade, Mura strike hangers containing concentrations of enemy personnel and light equipment using four guided glide bombs. Uh Turnipill under big Russian attack at the moment. Uh drones flying low over residential buildings. So it's going to be I think typical um activity going on there from the Russians. So yeah, lots of talk about Turnipill. And then Perm uh back to Perm. So these are the latest from Perm where the fire seems to be huge there at the moment. Uh possibly even bigger than yesterday, but um yeah, it doesn't seem to be under control in Perm. So there you go. Uh that's what's been happening in uh Russia. Now, we're going to go back to we're going to look at other bits and pieces and we are going to finish with I know his voice will great with many of you, but we are going to just listen to a bit of Donald Trump again talking about Ukraine.
Remember the other day he got Ukraine and Iran confused. Uh he's also just continually lying about $350 billion dollars of aid to Ukraine, >> but the level and we helped them with Ukraine. You know, they made a mess out of Ukraine, a total mess. And we >> they being Biden. So the previous American administration made a mess out of Ukraine by helping them. The the reason I'm showing this to you is because this is an incredibly important excerpt that shows you that Donald Trump didn't want and doesn't want Ukraine to prevail. He does not want Ukraine to succeed and he's he is as Pete Hegath did in the select hearing the committee hearing where he said essentially he said um well Biden gave all this aid to Ukraine and it just ends up prolonging the war blah blah blah. The idea is is that we should not have given aid to Ukraine. And of course that aid was super important for Ukraine being where it is today. Like the American aid at the beginning of the war was insanely important. And if you're saying that we shouldn't have given that aid to them, then you're saying that Ukraine should have lost. We think Ukraine, we want Ukraine to have lost. That is what both Pete Hex and Donald Trump are saying at the moment. And if you are still by some weirdness of uh psychology, if you are still a a a supporter of Donald Trump and b a supporter of Ukraine, I don't know how you live with yourself cuz a man clearly clearly clearly does not want Ukraine to prevail.
>> But the level and we help them with Ukraine, you know, they made a mess out of Ukraine, a total mess. And we help them with Ukraine. Ukraine has nothing to do. you know, we have we're an ocean apart. And I said, >> which you are from Iran, by the way, >> do with them. It's like for them, it's their front door. We help them and Biden gave him $350 billion, which was insane.
It's one of the reasons the war went on.
>> One of the reasons the war went on. It was insane. Biden gave him $350 billion.
He didn't. That's a lie. But anyway, uh and that's been fact check fact checked a million times and community noted on Twitter as well. you gave him $350 billion which was insane and it prolonged the war. So you wanted the war to be shorter and for him not to have given that aid in other words you wanted Russia to prevail. That's the only way you can understand that.
>> But uh when we needed them they were not there.
>> So the they I think is is actually um not the Biden administration is the Europeans. Uh this is interesting as well.
>> Is doing really well and that's despite a military operation. I don't call it a war. I'd rather have a military operation.
>> I don't call it a war. I call it a military operation. Oh, where are we?
Bloody Russia. Yes, pretty much. You are essentially Americans answer America's answer to Putin.
>> Uh we're really I mean Iran is dying to make a deal. I can only tell you that. I don't want to get into the but they gota they cannot be nuclear other than that but they >> that special military operation absolutely incredible. Um anyway uh that's a bit of Trump for you just you know make you happy in the morning. Uh $350 billion I mean it's just worth pointing out that zero dollars essentially uh since he came to power Trump and the $350 billion is also just BS. Um, now it's going to be interesting to see what the 400 million they've released from the appropriations bill, the National Defense Appropriations Act, their budget for the armed forces, 400 million of which is due to go to Ukraine in some way. Um, now Trump has also threatened to cut US troops, NATO, US NATO troops from Germany and even like Italy and Spain as well, I think, uh, in answer to NATO not coming to his help in Iran. Uh so being rather petty there but it was also like he made this announcement just after taking a 90-minute phone call from Vladimir Putin really Pentagon did not expect so it turns out that him wanting to withdraw troops from Germany has not come from the Pentagon this is the people at the top this is going to be Trump JD Vance uh maybe Pete Hexath and Elbridge Kby but from the Pentagon itself they're like we don't know anything about this quote the Pentagon did not expect this and did not plan for any reduction in the military presence.
But we have to take this seriously because Trump took this seriously during his first term, said a congressional aid. Trump's call to reduce US troops in Germany shocks the Pentagon. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Absolutely incredible. Now, Russian media have reported that leaders from only four countries are turning up to the victory day parade. Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Slovakia, a NATO member state, by the way, Slovakia.
That should be worrying. uh have agreed to attend the parade in Moscow. This is in sharp contrast to last year where leaders from 27 countries including China, Serbia, and Brazil took part in the event. I mean, wow, how the mighty have fallen. Now, uh the analyst here, I'm just going to leave you with a quick analysis from the analyst. Ukraine is a big winner in the Iran conflict.
Russia's managed to upset everyone of the GCC, the Gulf States, um with its weapons for Iran and its pro-Iran pronouncements. They now all know where they stand with Russia and some of them are feeling a little duped, especially the Emiratis who have been more than accommodating. They allowed finance and smuggling of sanctioned goods for as long as they could and took in thousands of Russian immigrants and with few questions asked. They brought millions of barrels of Russian crude and stored it until the price went up for to resell. All of the GCC states didn't care at all about the fact it financed the war on Ukraine. And now the tables have turned completely Russia's de facto en enemy by supporting Iran. They now need Ukraine to defend their skies from Iranian weapons using Russian targeting information. Ukraine has become the most technologically and tactically advanced army in the world. The only one that knows how to dominate a battlefield against a numerically superior enemy. It has developed weapons that can strike deep into the rear of its enemy without risking highv value air assets and without the vast cost of Americans exquisite weapons. Now I did a live stream with James from the he's a drone team leader with the international battalion for Azovv and we talked about the um the sky map provision that Ukraine is helping out the United States with in the Gulf area and no doubt helping out the Gulf States with. It's a bit like the Delta system but for air defense. Um and anyway, uh they are helping the Americans with that. And you know, Ukraine has cards. Anyway, um the only one that knows how to dominate a battlefield against a numerically superior enemy. That's Ukraine.
Um yeah, the American exquisite weapons. uh and it's open to investment and sharing deals, co-development and cooperation that American and Russian companies just won't countenance. Saudi Arabia and the Emirates particularly are super keen to diversify into such industries. Zinski will ensure Ukraine delivers. He put his personal effort behind it and while it will take a little time to make things happen, it will happen and faster than any peaceime deal. Ukraine has won energy supplies and development cash for 10 years, technology transfers both ways and the UAE has much that helps. And the prime goal is a cheaper ABM system that doesn't cost what Patriot costs, anti-bballistic missile. What has Russia gained out of all of this? Nothing. What has America really gained? The UAE concluding it doesn't need American bases after this is over and several others likely making the same choice.
Ukraine has gained energy, investment, prestige, and thanks. And that in the Arab world means a great deal. It's also worth noting as mentioned before that the UAE is pulling out uh from today from OPEC. Now, that's almost certainly going to have something to do with the US giving them a financial lifeline.
They needed some American dollar cash.
Basically, the US did a deal with the UAE just recently. And you can bet your bottom dollar, and this is speculation, but you can bet your bottom dollar that part of that deal to give the UAE some assistance, financial assistance, would have been we'll give this to you if you come out of OPEC, which is this cartel that seeks to set the price of oil around the world. The US is not part of that, but many of the nations in the Gulf States are. And then you've got, of course, you know, Iran, Iraq, Russia's OPEC plus, Venezuela, etc., etc. So the US will be wanting to undermine OPEC and actually the UA is want been wanting to come out since 2023. This has given them the opportunity and the US has probably pushed them to that. We'll give you some aid if you come out of OPEC. Now that is another kick in the knackers for Russia because uh UAE can flood the market with product and that brings the price down so on and so forth. So anyway, there you go. That is what's going on in Ukraine.
