[00:00:00]The rumor is, I guess, cuz I don't think it's going anywhere, is that I had an affair with the basketball coach.

[00:00:06]>> Yes, there is a rumor of that. There was another affair with [music] a basketball coach. He paid her off to not talk about the relationship, which is why she has money to buy a house. Is it true? I don't know. I mean, she has a pretty compelling case saying she never even met him. And if that's the case, I feel bad because what Kelsey says is true. The whole entire estate says it.

[00:00:26]>> After I had just met you, I had friends that were like, >> "Oh, I think she had an affair with the coach." I was like, "Guys, I don't think she did."

[00:00:33]>> don't know. Look, like when I was on TV, there was a lot of rumors all the times about things. Like, there was always bloopers of me on YouTube. There was like, people would say this or people would say that or like, you know, people would be attacking the outfit I wore.

[00:00:43]God forbid I wore like the same color 2 days in a row. Like, I was used to it. I I really didn't think anything of it. I did think it was a little weird cuz it seemed to like grow legs. She had an affair with the coach. There was an ultimatum. The guy went away to a different state to work a different job. And Rosie pretends like she's never met that man. I mean, the reality is like I I never even met this guy. It's been 4 years. We've never seen a picture of us together. I've never seen a video of us together. I've had to reach out to his team like literally five or six times being like, "Can you just release a statement?" Cover me.

[00:01:15]Being like, "Just to admit like you we've never met." Yeah. And then it's like I'm telling you that I haven't had an affair with him.

[00:01:22]And now it's, "Well, then you must have gotten paid hush money and signed an NDA." Like, what the actual Yeah, that that was really reaching. That was bad.

[00:01:29]>> we can't just let it go. If I'm telling you it's not true and you don't have any proof of it, >> When there's smoke, there's fire. No, was I in their room when they were doing whatever it is that they were doing? No.

[00:01:40]But, doesn't mean it's not true. There's no proof. We're never going to find out.

[00:01:44]Rosie's never going to admit it. And the coach lives in a another state. And if he Rosie, good for him.

[00:01:49]>> Honestly, if I was about to have an affair, I'd be with someone hot. Do you know how easy it would have been for me to be like, "You know, I was a young girl and he promised me the world." I could have easily said that. Or been like, he told me he left his wife and like I made a mistake. I could have said that. It's unfortunately just not the truth.

[00:02:04]>> Even if it were true, I wouldn't give a Like it wouldn't change how I thought about her. And you know what? I said to Rosie, if you did, I would laugh. I think it's excellent. Good for you. Good. Who gives a I hope it made your career bigger. There was also that rumor that I had an affair with a gay man that worked at the station with me.

[00:02:24][music] That I know of. One being a person at her old job and she ruined that guy's marriage. He was gay before I was born and yet somehow that was also a rumor that I had an affair with him. So like I think Rhode Island needs to get off the whole affair thing. Not everybody's that exciting.

[00:02:38]>> I was shy about talking about it. You know, you're I literally told everyone that I bled out of my and that's why I left NBC 10. You did have colitis a couple years ago, so Yeah, that's why I quit.

[00:02:50]And we're diapers to work. You don't think I would admit to having a weird little affair with some old guy? No, it just never happened. And by the way, that's not why I got fired. Cuz I worked there for a year and a half after that rumor started.

[00:03:02]>> We didn't get fired. We left because >> the paperwork to show that I didn't get fired.

[00:03:06]So it's like I just I can never win and it's exhausting. But like >> You should just bring this to reunion.

[00:03:12]Fortunately for me, I know people that worked with her, so stay tuned for the reunion. Why are there so many affair rumors in this community and amongst this group? Not about me. You want to know why? Never happened, never will be cuz that's the truth. See?

When you have a very prominent figure in the state of Rhode Island who's very well known, if there's a rumor circulating about the person, it's It's like rapid fire. She's the prominent figure? No. There was these rumors that like I'm fighting with the female anchor while I'm doing traffic.

[00:03:47]And it would be like I just literally was like responding to her question and like maybe that like being a little cuz I was like tired and it's 3:00 a.m. and like it was just like there was always something. The people on Staten Island love to do that.

[00:04:54]>> No, Bruno was some guy that opened you know he owns Pizza Antonios and so so I I know Bruno.

[00:04:59]>> So I said I said I have this vision of like I call my grandmother Mama where my mother is Mama. All my aunts are Mamas.

[00:05:06]Like my grandfather owned a bakery. He owned a lot of bakeries and he just wanted a son to take over. So I was like Mama. Like he never had a a boy, but he he wanted like he didn't know that a woman can handle a business even though I don't cook. So Mama.

[00:05:24]I wanted the spotlights. Like Pizza Mama I wanted it loud. I wanted it to be like old school. I love old Hollywood. Like you go into a movie theater. I wanted an experience. I wanted to feel like special. Like when you get a note. Like I did the Pizza Mama notes. Mama's notes. Remember when I wrote you a note in your lunchbox? It was like it's a surprise. It's like something special.

[00:06:18]>> So Billy is actually like making good on his word and letting you be more involved? See, the thing with Billy is is that he's like, "Prove yourself, you know?" He's like, I cuz in his head, he's like, "I worked so hard, you know?"

I just think that like relationships when you're like going into it when someone has a lot more than you and you I don't have as much and like >> That's how Gary and I started. And and he does take care of me really well.

And now you're starting to become, you know, it was here and here and now you're starting to all of a sudden and as the time goes on, you're going to equal. And and like that's what he's like he's not used to that. No, and neither is Gary. And I'm like saying to Gary, I'm like, "Huh? Well, now, you know, it's uncomfortable. It's an uncomfortable situation and and topic, but it doesn't mean you don't love each other. But in [snorts] all reality, I said to him As long as your daughter is, you know, happy.

[00:07:52]Rather him than come work over here and I'd be like, I even though Billy sometimes really isn't my type. Billy's the sweetest. I would die without my Will.
