Refuting the claim that religion and science contradict

[00:00:00]Many people argue that religion and science are always incompatible. But science proves the existence of God.

[00:00:05]Consider this argument. Scientists have discovered finely tuned constants and initial conditions which allow for life.

[00:00:11]For example, the cosmological constant is fine-tuned by a power 120. Renowned physicist Alexander Lincoln remarks as the most notorious and perplexing case of fine-tuning in physics. Under atheism, there's no reason to expect that we would exist. I'll illustrate how absurd it is to say we exist by chance or luck. In poker, the probability of getting a roll flush is very low. And so suppose you are playing with a friend and he gets one. Probably lucky. But you would definitely question it if he got it three times in a row. But then let's say he wins 10 hands in a row all with royal flushes. Any rational person would say, "My friend is cheating. The odds of our universe being finally tuned is comparable to the odds of getting 50 royal flushes in a row." Rational people reject that luck gave my friend 10 flushes in a row. So why don't people just accept that we came by luck? I was inspired to make this video because I recently saw Stephen Mayor on Joe Rogan.
