The NEW SEASON 4 UPDATE 1.99 PATCH NOTES for BO7 & WARZONE! (NEW Weapons, Buffs & Nerfs) Black Ops 7

[00:00:00]The new Black Ops 7 season 4 update patch notes just went live and we're going to be going over all of the most important changes made within the next major title update. After watching the video, if you think these changes are a W, let me know down in the comment section. And if you think it's an L, also let me know. Let's take a look at it, y'all. As you can see, the season 4 patch notes, season 4 is going live tomorrow, June 4th, at 11 a.m. Central time. Now, we are going to be getting some new maps. We have some returning as well as new maps coming. We have the first map, which is going to be liinal.

[00:00:39]It is going to be a 6v6 map. Let me know what you guys think of this. We are also going to be getting the map prime time which is going to be a 6v6 map as well.

[00:00:52]I personally think that the maps they're bringing in season 4 are a W because they are bright, vibrant, and they're not too big. At least going off of the description that each of the map does have. And then finally, we are getting the returning map Vertigo, which was a very good map in Black Ops 2. This map you can drop easy 100 plus kill games when you are running the right lethal streaks and I think a lot of us including myself are going to enjoy this a lot here in Black Ops 7. Now we are getting some new weapons. We have the KRS7.62 marksman rifle. This is going to be available in the battle pass immediately when the season does go live. We are also going to be getting the CBRS3 SMG. This is also going to be in the battle pass as soon as the season does go live. Now, we are going to be getting the Grimhawk special weapon. This is going to be a weekly challenge reward.

[00:01:56]Pretty interesting. Let me know what you guys think of this. I think it's kind of awkward they're bringing a special weapon in the weekly kind of challenge and not in the battle pass this season, but you know what? It is what it is. And then we are going to be getting the VX compact assault rifle, which is also going to be an event reward, which honestly looks like a straightup submachine gun. And this is probably going to be one of the fastest firing and hopefully one of the fastest killing ARs in the entire game. It literally looks like the Razerback from Black Ops 3. [00:03:04]Now, let's take a look at the weapon balance both in multiplayer as well as War Zone. Quite a few weapons are getting buffs and nerfs. Now, as you can see, the SG12 in multiplayer is finally getting a nerf. The Dragon's Breath attachment is getting nerfed down. We are turning down Dragon's Breath on the SG12 as it's been overperforming and quickly spiking in usage. It will still be an option for stretching the range and improving base damage consistency of the weapon, but its power will be more in line with the default ammo configuration. And as you can see, the ranges across the board are getting nerfed. I'm super happy they're going ahead and doing this because once one person uses the SG12 in the lobby, somebody else brings it out, it's literally a chain effect. Horrible. And the game is unplayable. You have to literally leave. And it looks like that's all the weapon balance you're getting in multiplayer. Obviously, they're going to be doing more. I guarantee it probably a week after the season goes live. This is what Treyarch has been doing here in Black Ops 4 where they'll just nerf one gun or two guns that are absolutely overperforming.

[00:04:17]they'll drop the DLC gun, see where things are in line, and then buff up other weapons that need to be made better. Honestly, I do like that kind of idea because it doesn't allow weapons to just be clapped when the season goes live and then you have to just relearn other guns. So, I think this is nice. I expect more weapons to be buffed, not necessarily nerfed, probably about a week or two after season 4 goes live.

[00:04:45]Now, the needle drone equipment. Needle drone has a low overall pick rate compared to our other lethals. We've increased its agility in manual pilot mode to make it more appealing and also have increased the boost speed of its boost overclock. So, the needle drone got a buff. Um, the black hat field upgrade also got adjusted. Black Hat's pick rate is low despite the frequency of score streaks in our matches to help incentivize its use as a go-to score streak counter. We've made some targeted improvements to its charge and use time requirements and they went ahead and adjusted how the black hat is going to be used here in Black Ops 7. Now, the Scrambler, the Scrambler received a nerf. While Scrambler is intended as an intel masking device, it is also currently very strong as a score generator. Now, we do know this because you can get like 15 points if people are getting kills in the Scrambler. And as you can see here, they went ahead and nerfed that down and they also reduced the radius from 650 to 500. I personally like using the Scrambler. Yes, it's nice to get additional points, but it does combat a lot of the annoying equipment in the game. If you're playing on maps like Nuke Town or maps that have building people camp, throw that right outside shuts it all down. So hopefully it's still going to be solid. I'm praying it's still going to be solid.

[00:06:10]Otherwise, I feel like a lot more people are going to be camping because the scrambler prevents a lot of that nonsense from happening. Now, we are also getting the Iron Rain score streak.

[00:06:23]This is going to be essentially a bird's eyee view streak where you can just drop missiles on the people. Technically bombs on the people. It's going to cost 825. I'm not too sure if this is actually going to be meta, but you know what? We'll see how this is going to play out. Now, let's take a look at the weapon balance we're getting in War Zone because quite a few things are happening to a lot of weapons. Honestly, I wish a lot of these happened in multiplayer as well. So you can see all Black Ops 7 ARs, the regular suppressor is going to be giving you 10% damage range benefit and the red will shadeex suppressor, the bullet velocity penalty is now being removed. The AK-27, this is for all modes. We're talking about battle royale as well as you know resurgence horizontal shake and recoil firing reduced. And they are going to adjust the flip mag, the mollik suppressor as well as the 7.62 62 Soviet FMJ rounds. So the capacity for the foot mag has been increased as well as the reload speed benefit. The monolithic suppressor, the velocity benefit has been reduced and the damage range benefit has also been reduced. But the Soviet rounds, the bullet velocity has been increased. Now for the DS20 Mirage, vertical recoil reduced by 8% on all modes, obviously within war zone. And for BR and resurgence only flip mags, the velocity or not say the velocity, the capacity has been increased and the reload speed benefit has also been improved. And while suppressor is going to be getting velocity and damage range nerfed. The EGRT7, they are only adjusting attachments in battle royale and resurgence only, not obviously all modes. Flip mags are going to be getting improved as far as the reload speed and the bullet velocity of the mild suppressor is going to be getting reduced. Now the M15 mod zero uh same thing. Battle rail and resurgence flip mags are going to be getting buffed. Mollic suppressor is getting nerfed. MK MK35 ISR flip mags buffed.

[00:08:33]Mollic suppressor nerfed. MXR17 medium damage range increased from 55 to 60 meters. Flip mags buffed. Bollock suppressor nerfed. Peacekeeper MK1 flip mags buffed. Mollik suppressor nerfed.

[00:08:50]And the Voyat KT3 flip mags buffed. Mic suppressor nerfed. The Gra 4 barrel. The bullet velocity is going to be getting buffed as well, which actually is nice, especially on the Voyat KT3. Let's look at the BO7 SMGs. Suppressor attachment now gives 10% damage range benefit.

[00:09:08]That's the regular suppressor. You can see here the fire rate is going to be bumped up on the Javic 45 from 638 to 652 and the headshot multiplier is going to be increased from 1.12 to 1.15.

[00:09:22]For the KOAT 7, the damage range is being reduced all the way from med maximum damage to medium damage one and the minimum damage is going to be left alone and they are going to be slowing down the ADS speed from 160 to 170. The KOAT was literally one of the best SMGs.

[00:09:41]I think it still will be a good submachine gun, but there might be some better options. Now for the MPC, all modes, headshot multipliers being increased from 1.2 2 to 1.3 and they are going to be improving the ADS speed uh from 170 to 165.

[00:09:58]Rev 46 is getting a buff. The maximum damage range, medium damage range one, and minimum are all getting buffed. And the ADS speed is going to be improved.

[00:10:08]It's going to be faster from 175 to 165.

[00:10:11]And the lower torso and leg multipliers are going to be increased from 1x to 1.03.

[00:10:18]So, as you can see here, the Black Ops 7 LMGs are going to be getting a suppressor damage range benefit only 8%, but the Red Well is also getting the bullet velocity removed. So, pretty similar to the assault rifles. As you can see here, the MK78 is getting a nerf across the board for damage, and the bullet velocity is going to be reduced from 930 to 890.

[00:10:43]This was the best gun as far as long range metal loadouts go. Now it is not.

[00:10:48]So we're going to have to see exactly what's going to take its place.

[00:10:51]Shotguns, as you can see here, the M10 breacher is getting a buff in range for a medium damage run and medium damage range too. ADS speed is going to be improved from 280 to 250. And the ADS spread benefit at full charge is going to be improved by 10% for the M10 breacher. This is 100% because they are going to be going ahead and adding in the lever action for this weapon at a later date. These are all the buffs and nerfs we're getting within Black Ops 7 season 4.
