Twisha Sharma Case | Twisha Sharma's 2nd Autopsy Cleared By Court, Husband Withdraws Bail Plea

[00:00:00]All right, the big breaking news now coming in on the Twisha Sharma case and the court is dictating its orders regarding the second autopsy that the family of Twisha Sharma has have wanted [music] after she was found dead in mysterious circumstances. Remember questions have arisen over the autopsy that was done [music] in Bhopal and now an AIIMS a team from AIIMS Delhi will be conducting this second autopsy. The lawyer for Samarth Singh, the [music] husband, has said they have no objection to a second autopsy while the Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who's also now appeared in this case for the Madhya Pradesh government, [music] has said that the second autopsy will boost confidence.

[00:00:38]Remember lots of questions over the manner in which the Twisha Sharma death was handled immediately by the family [music] and by the police as well. Well, let's go across to Anurag Dwary now for more on the very latest. And Anurag, you know, there are three different issues that are in the court right now. So, take us through this latest, you know, development over the autopsy. This is something Twisha Sharma's family has been asking for, a second autopsy to be done.

[00:01:05]Uh yes, the breaking news coming out of the Jabalpur High Court.

[00:01:10]The High Court has directed that the second postmortem of Twisha Sharma, who recently died on May 12th, unfortunate death, at her, you know, home in Katara Hills in Bhopal, to be conducted by a team of doctors from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi.

[00:01:28]And Justice Avanindra Kumar Singh said that the postmortem will be conducted in Bhopal. A special flight will be arranged for doctors. This has to be done at the earliest and the order was passed on a petition moved by Tushar's father, Navneet Sharma, and you know, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, representing the state, supported the petition. But he also clarified that the state had, you know, they're they're not doubting the competence of the doctors who performed the postmortem at AIMS in Bhopal. Noted you know forensic science experts have also said that the entire I mean there is no doubt on the first postmortem because the entire process is videographed, photographed. So a team of experts can join from different parts.

[00:02:15]This was their view from different parts of the country and they can have a look on the first postmortem. But now the high court has directed second postmortem to be done by the doctors, by the forensic experts of AIMS in Delhi.

[00:02:28]But they will come down to Bhopal to conduct the postmortem.
