[00:00:06]I'm back with another StarCraft two one versus one bot AI cast.

[00:00:14]We have got ourselves what should be a good one here today as it's going to be serious bot playing Zerg taking on Princess Mika.

[00:00:26]I believe these two bots have had good matches in the past, so we'll see what sort of chaos the code brings today.

[00:00:46]Let's get a Let's get a 15 likes for a 15 pool, I think that was, maybe a 14 pool from Princess Mika.

I I don't know who it's going to be this week because I haven't actually recorded it yet, so um yes, we do get a drone scout from Princess Mika. Um gives us some nice chat tags letting us know it's expansion logic, but the drone scout is nice, very important to ensure you're not getting cheese.

[00:01:29]And then we have have that. So, yeah.

[00:01:34]We get some lings being produced by Princess Mika. Serious bot did go for its own spawning pool a little bit later. As a result, the red Zerg does have a bit of a healthier economy with a 19 drone count to the 14 of Princess Mika. Princess Mika is going for a roach warren already.

[00:01:55]So, the blue Zerg is really delaying its economy to potentially get aggressive.

[00:02:00]The ling count is currently six going up to 12 from the seam of things. So, Serious bot will likely be the defender in this scenario.

[00:02:09]And programming your bot to have good defense is not an easy thing. And so, we'll see like what is Serious bot going to do. It's got one scouting drone that identifies the lings of Princess Mika.

[00:02:20]It's going to try and save itself by turning into a building, but it does not successfully turn into a building. Now, we've got a ling of Princess Mika in the base of Serious bot. The drone is not defending itself, unfortunately. Now, if you program a Zerg bot, usually like you don't have to worry about as much of like single unit harassment because you usually have an auto attacking unit by the natural base as these queens do pop out, but as we saw there, they were a little bit late to the party allowing five drones to be killed, and then they do clean up those two lings, but Princess Mika has many more lings on the way, and they are just slow lings for now, but these two queens could be a little tight pressed to defend against them. So, Serious bot still has yet to produce any units that will actually fight this off. So, it's playing a little bit risky. We actually get a lair going up, so I wonder what kind of tech this is for. There are three queens to defend against the lings. It looks like they might be getting a little over microed there just the way they were in the base of the lings. I'm not too sure.

[00:03:23]They are trying to kite against the lings. Unfortunately, queens are some of the worst units in the game for kiting defensively. Finally, Serious bot does actually fire up some of its own lings, so we do have two out that are trying to clean up the lings of Princess Mika.

[00:03:39]These two speed lings though inside the main are attacking the drones, and the drones are not actually fighting back, unfortunately. So, hopefully Serious bot does deal with that soon. There we go, lings are coming in, but Princess Mika has got a nice amount of early game damage done as the build of Serious bot has left it a little bit vulnerable going for this quick lair. And so far, the red Zerg holds on. The worker counts are even, but Princess Mika has got a baneling nest up at or pardon me, a third base up and a baneling nest on the way.

[00:04:10]Serious bot though might be a bit more of a tricky player as we're getting an infestation pit, a roach warren on the way.

[00:04:17]It has been known to have some crazy builds, so we'll see what it's going to bring out against Princess Mika. Who knows, maybe swarm host, something nuts like that.

[00:04:28]Or just infestors could be a quick spire, although the time for spire has passed as it's already got an infestation pit on the way, and you don't need one of those. I may not be a Zerg player, but I know that much.

[00:04:40]And yes, we have got let's see, Princess Mika going into the drones after that successful early game poke. We've got a lair on the way now for the blue Zerg. So, economically, Serious bot's in a little bit of trouble. It tried to build a third base very early on, but it hasn't done that now. No, we're getting an overlord going up, so who knows, maybe we're going to get like baneling drops with a baneling nest on the way.

[00:05:06]There is notably ventral or pardon me, not not pneumatized. Yeah, pneumatized carapace. That's the speed one.

[00:05:13]I'm getting my getting my Zerg upgrades mixed up. Um but yes, so the overlords will be zoomy, and that does mean that this thing can potentially drop some banelings in Princess Mika's mineral line. We'll see if it's programmed to do that or not.

[00:05:28]But with five banelings more thing, that is a little suspicious. Princess Mika's investing in some defense inside its main base, which is an interesting choice as it does have the spine crawlers not really being at the front where they might be wanted.

[00:05:44]Of course, spine crawlers are a unit that can a wall, a building that can always be repositioned, so that is beneficial for the Zergs.

[00:05:52]And definitely has a lot of potential when it comes to, you know, making use of all all the tools in your or yeah, all the options because you could in theory have a bot that micro spine crawlers way better than a human can, and almost maybe even get around that supply cap a little bit. But here we go, the baneling droperlord from Serious bot is heading towards the natural of Princess Mika. It does turn around though.

[00:06:18]This is going to be one of those things I'm going to look away, and then it's finally going to go in.

[00:06:23]So, we'll keep eyes on this for now. We do have Princess Mika investing six spore crawlers on that production tab.

[00:06:30]The is thinking about it. It's trying to get its courage up, but it just it just can't. And so, it turns around. I'll turn off the chat there just cuz I know that it's harder for you guys to ignore it than it is for me.

[00:06:44]Now, we've got a spire on the way for Serious bot. We're getting a hydra 10 mana. Man, these two Zerg bots, they really enjoy having all the tech at their disposal. Like the production tabs for well, the building tabs for 7 minutes in the game is just ridiculous.

[00:06:59]Princess Mika's getting infestors.

[00:07:01]There's 10 spore crawlers out. Then we've got baneling speed, a spire, another hydra 10 going up. It's just uh all the tech. Serious bot though, the baneling drop is struggling a little bit.

[00:07:14]And by golly, what a defended main base this is for Princess Mika.

[00:07:19]Maybe a little overkill.

[00:07:21]Almost looks like a campaign Zerg base, you know, where you kind of just got things all over the place as they Yeah, there's four spore crawlers, two spines.

[00:07:30]Yeah, just buildings all over the place, and now we have got the hydras of Princess Mika are pushing out. They may be able to get an overlord. That droperlord is still flying around, but not going in. We're actually getting swarm host from Princess Mika, which is cool.

[00:07:46]I don't believe I've ever seen Princess Mika use swarm host.

[00:07:50]Or if I have, it's maybe been a while ago. We're now getting one one on the way for Serious bot. So, just a bit of an honorable macro game from this point on.

[00:07:59]Despite the Yeah, it's just been a strange journey to get where we are due to the high investing in tech early on.

[00:08:07]It's like these guys are playing no rush no rush 15. Or Or I guess it's everyone tries this kind of thing in StarCraft it or in RTS or any game when you first play it. You're like, "Oh, if I rush to this tech, maybe I'll just win." But then you don't really have an economy to back it up. So, if that's why it's kind of accepted in RTS that if you can build up your economy and then get the tech, that's where you really have the power spike.

[00:08:33]Um but we are going to have these bots potentially fighting as Princess Mika is going up the ramp. We get a fungal on the queens, not on the banelings. So, the bane pain train rolls into the army of Princess Mika. We get counter banelings from the blue Zerg bot, but as far as numbers go on this side of the map, Serious bot is ahead. The worker count is definitely in favor of Serious bot. Princess Mika perhaps turning too many of its units into buildings. Now, that droperlord is still floating around, so trying to pay attention to that. And yeah, that wasn't the best fight for Princess Mika. It's still pushing in kind of. We're getting a bit of comical micro because despite all the techs and upgrades, neither of them has roach speed. There is hydra speed for Princess Mika, but the roaches of Serious bot are just looking a little slow getting in here. And army supply wise, Princess Mika is ahead. A single baneling rolling on in does get a connection on a hydra. So, cool to see the banes actually having some success.

[00:09:29]Almost getting a hydra there. This hatchery of Serious bot is about to go down. The red Zerg could be in a lot of trouble here. Another baneling rolls in, but it dies prior to reaching its target. There are or there was some muta flying around, but I mean, we've seen how much static defense Princess Mika has. I don't think mutas are going to be that good in this game. And so, Serious bot is on the back foot. We've got an attempt at another base. That's probably going to be I want to see if it's killed. Yes, it's killed, not canceled.

[00:09:57]And then we have got more roaches on the way for Serious Bot, but they're just a little slow and the army supply isn't quite here as the blue Zerg is pushing on in for the win. We've got a random swarm host on the front lines as Princess Mika is bringing the pain to Serious Bot.

[00:10:12]And yes, let's see here as the blue Zerg does seem to be poking on in and probably Yeah, I don't know if it's just going to win here. The Like the upgrades are in favor of Serious Bot at least on the roach ravager.

[00:10:28]Um but then Princess Mika just kind of tipped the scales with this attack. So it was down on workers, but it was actually able to push on in well enough and then Serious Bot's army just wasn't big enough to hold on the investment in the mutas probably didn't help out that much either. We've got these infestors landing some nice fungal growths from Princess Mika. Good behavior there. I like the locusts charging into battle as well. And so it does appear that Serious Bot will go down to Princess Mika.

[00:10:58]A very decisive killing blow by the blue Zerg Bot.

[00:11:02]Uh yeah, it's I honestly expected this game to have a little more back and forth between the two cuz they've had some close games in the past, but in this game Princess Mika just getting the knockout blow rather quickly. And uh yeah, just very cool bots on both sides as Princess Mika and Serious Bot there they both have got all the programming to make use of all the units and stuff.

[00:11:28]Uh the way they go about getting to those is definitely interesting from both sides. I love the banelings.

[00:11:41]And uh yeah, Princess Mika able to take this one.

[00:11:46]Serious Bot trying to rebuild. No cancel on the hatchery is a little painful, but that is going to be it for this one, guys.
