[00:00:04]This is Emmanuel Diaz. He's made over 1,000 websites, and today we're going to be testing Opus 4.8. Have you tried Claude's new coding model?

[00:00:16]>> Yeah, I mean, I've been using 4.7, and I really like it. I saw a brief glimpse of the announcement, and overall, I just kind of saw that, you know, it was some incremental updates, a couple percent faster here, you know, a little bit less token usage, but um I didn't see anything crazy, but I I think I might have missed something because I you told me that you had some pretty cool stuff that is out there now.

[00:00:38]>> I do. I want to show you three different things, and I think you're really going to like the third one. The third one is super cool. So, I think yeah, should we start testing it?

[00:00:50]>> Sure, show me what you got. What's what's new?

[00:00:53]>> All right. So, the first thing is I saw this lady online, and she was saying, "Just to make simple websites, like a typing website." And these typing websites, they make a lot of money, or these different mortgage calculators, or different things. So, I wanted to know, like, "Oh, how much do these typing websites make?" And I'm not saying like I'm going to be number ranked number one for the typing website, and like make a whole bunch of money. But, I was just thinking like, "Oh, yeah, can you just make a super simple typing website and monetize it?" And so, you know, that's what I wanted to see here, and I was like, "Oh, make me a chart. How how much do these typing websites make?" And then it says this one makes a million dollars a month.

[00:01:36]>> A million dollars a month? Wow.

[00:01:38]>> And I'm like, "Who's going to these typing things?" But, I thought like maybe like for for my kid, I can make like, you know, a fourth grader typing website, or like some sort of niche, you know?

[00:01:49]>> You know, it makes you wonder how much like like really simple websites like Wordle, or like um uh you know, they're simple, but they probably make a ton of money.

[00:01:59]>> Yeah. I A ton of money.

[00:02:01]So, I wanted to make a typing website. But, you know that I'm super lazy. So, I'm like, I want to make a typing game and uh on my shared hosting, can you ask me some questions and then make it for me?

[00:02:14]I always have the AI ask me questions, like interview me. I don't know, do you do that, too?

[00:02:20]>> Yeah, because sometimes, you know, you don't know what you don't know. So, sometimes I'm like, okay, this is how I want it to work, but I I kind of feel like I'm missing some steps here. I feel like this there's some complex complex parts that that need to work a specific way. So, ask me some questions and then I'll give you the feedback and that kind of fills in the gaps.

[00:02:36]>> Yeah, exactly.

[00:02:39]So, it made a first version, which was pretty cool. Um, if you can see it right here. Hold on, I think I'm in the way.

[00:02:44]Uh, but, you know, I Have you ever played Mario Teaches Typing? I don't know if that was around when you're a kid, but that was around when I was a kid.

[00:02:52]And so, we got something that was pretty cool, like not and not very, you know, it didn't take a long time.

[00:03:00]And this is better than actually the other typing websites, I think, than what the top typing websites are.

[00:03:06]>> Yeah, this reminds me of like a flash game, almost.

[00:03:11]>> Yeah.

[00:03:11]>> Um, and it's very polished, like it's not because a couple videos ago, um, you tried to make a like a uh pixel art game.

[00:03:20]>> Yeah.

[00:03:20]>> And it did it, but it was like very choppy.

[00:03:22]>> Right.

[00:03:22]>> This is very polished, like you have the the retry screen, you have like some metrics at the end.

[00:03:28]>> So, the the feel of 4.8 to me feels better, but I didn't want to just like you can't make a typing thing and then just have it on your computer. So, I wanted to upload it to my website, so I just download as HTML.

[00:03:42]And just drag it to my desktop and then um we should just go get hosting or something. So, here's the typing game right here.

[00:03:53]>> And once it's on there, anybody can play it.

[00:03:55]>> Yeah, and it has sound, but you can't hear it. Yeah, so but but I wanted to put it on a real website. So, I thought that would be fun.

[00:04:48]So, >> I want to say and it's crazy how you know, to get a game online, you you tell the AI make me a game. You drag a file into a folder and you have a game online. I feel like I feel like the flash games that I used to play were probably a lot more complicated to put together.

[00:05:04]>> Yeah, it was so hard and they always Yeah, they always like failed and stuff.

[00:05:10]>> [snorts] >> So, I'm just going to rename this to index.html because [clears throat] index, how would you explain index? Index is >> I think I think uh >> the main root of the website.

[00:05:22]>> Yeah, when when the way I understand it, the way um the file manager works, it's just uh it's looking for that file name um to uh publish the site.

[00:05:32]>> Yeah. Yeah, so this is just the root of the website.

[00:05:35]>> it's like a little map. Yeah, a little map for the website.

[00:05:37]>> go to the main website, then this is what's going to pop up. But this is like I've showed you all the steps to make this This is the old website. So, this is it. Now it's online and it's very cool. I wish you could hear the little noises. I don't think you can.

[00:05:52]>> Well, you you can, right? If they go to if they go to making your website >> making your site, yeah. You you could hear it. Or let's put it on Tyler.com/typing.

[00:06:03]Tyler.com/typing, you could do it. It's a very cool website. Um and I think I think uh I think 4.8 is really good, you know, so far.

[00:06:13]>> So how how does So how does this little game work? Like what's the what are the the mechanics of it?

[00:06:17]>> So you just type in like which or does or not, and then he goes over and he he jumps up and he hits it. Um and then it gets faster and faster.

[00:06:28]>> and the words get longer?

[00:06:29]>> Yeah. Well, all these words are quotes.

[00:06:32]Be the see Be the change you want to see in the world. With great power comes great responsibility.

[00:06:39]Imagination is more important than knowledge.

[00:06:42]>> you can kind of get ready to Whoa.

[00:06:45]>> And then you die. Like your your hand You're like, "Uh." You die. I don't know if you saw that.

[00:06:50]>> [laughter] >> You know, this would be great like if if you're a parent uh Listen, guys, feel free to steal this idea. Um like if you have a young child and you want to teach them how to type, this is like a really easy fun way to just create your own typing lesson.

[00:07:04]>> Yeah. And I think also I was thinking, "Oh, it should teach me things. Like it should teach me famous quotes. It should teach me like it could teach me about Claude."

[00:07:14]Like if it teaches me about Claude like the words or teach me some like poem or something.

[00:07:21]>> Then uh you start getting some HTML code you got to type in.

[00:07:24]>> [laughter] >> And then you're like, "Wait a minute."

[00:07:28]Uh >> Uh run curl command.

[00:07:30]>> So that was the first thing that I wanted to show you is just the typing game and those typing websites make so much, but obviously it'd be hard to rank number one for those typing things. But I think if you can find a niche like a mortgage calculator or whatever, you can just like put it in there and I'll do it. And >> Listen, um do you know the we we showed the prompt generator and I I kind of just made that as like a fun tool for people to to make a website, but so many people use that.

[00:07:56]>> Yeah.

[00:07:56]>> Like the I was checking the Google Analytics. So many people went in and generated websites. I was blown away.

[00:08:02]>> Speaking of the prompt generator, that's what I wanted to do next. So we made the typing thing, but I want to show you a business website. So this is more like you know, a plumber or a contractor, photography, or um I don't know. What are some examples that that people have done to um for this website for for this.

[00:08:21]>> Listen, you know, it's stuff that you don't think about like garage door repair, right? Like something something that you might not it doesn't come to mind as like a like a trade that's common, but garage garage repair. I had a functional medicine doctor get like a landing like build your own landing page.

[00:08:36]>> That's cool.

[00:08:37]>> Um a lot of small businesses, you know, that are just getting started and they just they just get their their website set up. Claude builds the whole website for free.

[00:08:46]And they they upload it and they're online and it's super easy. And when I reach out to them, they're like really happy about it that >> Yeah.

[00:08:54]>> Yeah, they were they were expecting it to be like really really difficult.

[00:08:57]>> So explain this to people who who haven't seen the other videos. What is this? What are we What are we doing here?

[00:09:04]>> so what we did was on tylor.com, um we wanted to streamline the process of creating a website with AI so that you didn't have to write a prompt, you didn't have to like figure out how to use the AI.

[00:09:18]Uh just to make it super super easy.

[00:09:20]Like you don't have to think about anything. You just have to put your business name and your services.

[00:09:25]So the way the the tool works is um you click to get your domain and hosting in case you don't have it cuz you you got to you got to put your website somewhere.

[00:09:32]Then you fill out the form. The form is just like your business name, your contact info, the service you offer, or area you offer it in. And this is all free. It's all free. This isn't costing any money.

[00:09:42]Yeah.

[00:09:44]Um so, yeah, it's all free. Then you copy and paste the code into It could probably work with any AI, but Cloud AI makes like the nicest websites, so even the free version. It'll generate the HTML file, and you can preview your website, and then you just upload that file into your into your Hostinger file manager, and that's it. You have a website. It's literally three steps.

[00:10:03]>> That's great. So, yeah, we did we just did that. We went to tyler.com, we filled out the form, and it made us a great prompt, and this is what it looks like. This is what it looks like without the images. It actually does come with images, but you have to put it on your website first um for them to show up. So, we're just going to download this.

[00:10:21]And it looks pretty good. I think it could look a little better, but we're going to make this not say We're going to change this to typing, and this one to index, so it goes. And then we're just going to re-upload it to the same website.

[00:10:36]Um and then let's preview it. Let's refresh. Where is it?

[00:10:42]And then here is the website. I mean, it looks pretty good for the amount of work you did. So, we went to the prompt generator, and then this is what it generated. We put in a couple of our details, and then this is what it generated. Pretty cool.

[00:10:55]>> Yes, so it'll it'll create like a multi-page website >> out of one file, which is pretty cool.

[00:11:00]>> Out of one Yeah, you just one file, you drag and drop it in, and your your website is is online. Uh and here's the thing, um if you're not happy with like that first version, you can go back into Cloud Code and say, "Oh, here's my logo." And add a page, and add this service, and then change the colors, and it will You can update your website to make it however you want.

[00:11:18]>> Yeah, so maybe let's make it more elegant and not so generic, and let's see what it does. Oh, and we can see the preview over here.

[00:11:28]And we can download it and do all of that again, you know, we have to change that to index and put it in there. And now we refresh and we can see again, it's more elegant and it looks much nicer.

[00:11:45]So, yeah.

[00:11:46]>> it kind of made it more stylized.

[00:11:48]>> Mhm.

[00:11:49]Yeah, it made it more stylized and of course this is just like minutes of work, you know, um you would obviously put in maybe a couple hours of work to get it exactly how you want, but it's so much faster than it ever was.

[00:12:02]>> you just wrote you just wrote make it more elegant, you know.

[00:12:05]>> [laughter] >> That was a little lazy.

[00:12:08]>> Yeah, you guys know your business. You can say exactly what what you want it to to look like and what you want it you know what you want to show on the website and it does a great job of doing it.

[00:12:16]>> But yeah, this is a solid a solid starting point.

[00:12:20]This next thing that I want to show you uh blew my mind. I hate to sound like those other YouTubers, but >> [laughter] >> it was pretty crazy. [clears throat] So, I put here and this is new to 4.8. So, I put here make me 10 retro games, but put an amazing spin on it, blah blah blah blah, okay.

[00:12:41]Um and then I said the keyword, can you do this with workflows?

[00:12:46]So, um workflows is pretty crazy.

[00:12:50]It what it does is it makes uh sub agents. So, it makes the main agent and then it spawns sub agents and um I told you about this and you said this sounds stupid. Uh >> [laughter] >> Yeah, because when I when I give Claude a complex task, I feel like it already has runs like multiple agents at once sometimes. Like what's the what's the big >> I don't I don't know. This orchestrates more agents, so we can see over here now we have 10 agents each making sites that make 10 games. So, it knows that and I said >> Is it faster? Is it faster like I >> all the agents are in parallel.

[00:13:30]So they all go in parallel and imagine how long it would have taken to make 10 games sequentially.

[00:13:37]So it does this all.

[00:13:38]>> Ah, okay.

[00:13:39]>> this would be really good for let's say you have a large code base, you can say try to find all security issues and then it goes out, it fans out like 30 agents and does it. Or maybe you want to change like a doc into HTML.

[00:13:55]So like how do you do that? You do it one by one? No, no, no. You say uh workflows do this, you know. Um and then you have 100 docs and then it makes 30 agents that take on three docs each.

[00:14:09]Instead of going >> Doc Yeah, cuz Sometimes uh what I've noticed like like when I'm checking for bugs, it'll be like, "Okay, it's fixed now."

[00:14:18]And then it's not fixed. And then, "Oh, this time I found the issue."

[00:14:21]And it's still not fixed. And it it it takes like so many tries. Um so the agents could you say, "Okay, you know, use workflows and then assign an agent, one just for the front end, one just for the back end, one for everything in between." And >> Yeah. And I think I think it what it'll do is is the main cloud orchestrates all the agents, so it breaks it down. So it will probably say, "Okay, these files for this agent, these files for this agent, these files for this agent." And do it all like that.

[00:14:47]So I think it's pretty cool. So we're almost done with ours.

[00:14:51]All right, and we have a snake game, a rally game, cascade prism, starfall, drift shot, fusion, lumen, glide, and echo.

[00:15:01]Okay.

[00:15:02]So we're going to >> and that used like half a million tokens.

[00:15:05]>> I did. This will eat up your tokens like crazy. I almost ran out of tokens last night cuz I was playing with it. My brother wanted the plumbing code, the universal plumbing code in HTML format, like in a readable format cuz they try to lock it down.

[00:15:20]Um you know, 630 pages. And so it spawned out 32 agents and it like converted all of those. It was really cool. But then then I was like, "Okay, you have no You need to get off here."

[00:15:32]>> [laughter] >> You're done.

[00:15:34]Turn off the computer.

[00:15:34]>> Turn off the computer.

[00:15:36]You ran out tokens. You are not rich enough for us.

[00:15:40]Um So it made all these games. So you just drop it in and then replace all of them.

[00:15:47]>> And did it make an index an index file for >> organize like the >> agent did. The main Claude did and then it and then it made all the rest with agents.

[00:15:57]>> Okay, so it made the games and it also made like a little home page to organize how you see the games. Okay, cool. Let's see.

[00:16:02]>> Yep, let's see.

[00:16:05]All right, so we have the R after arcade and it has all these games.

[00:16:12]Here's Snake with the twist.

[00:16:15]I don't know what the twist is, but I don't know. It's kind of cool. It has sound too, but you can't hear it. Um But yeah, I think it's pretty cool.

[00:16:24]So that's Snake. I mean, not amazing, but this is uh >> Hyper Pong.

[00:16:32]>> Hyper Pong, exactly.

[00:16:35]Uh >> Now, are you controlling one of the sides or is it >> Yeah, yeah, I'm controlling one of the sides and I was controlling the snake, too.

[00:16:42]>> Oh, cool.

[00:16:43]>> Oh, yeah. So, that's that. Oh, we got Tetris here.

[00:16:49]Uh >> It's crazy that all of these games are like >> work.

[00:16:53]I know all these games took people like years to make.

[00:16:57]>> Right. Technological marvels.

[00:17:00]>> Let's see.

[00:17:01]>> And we're like, "Oh, make it better."

[00:17:02]>> Yeah. Like this is not good enough.

[00:17:04]>> Oh, nice.

[00:17:05]>> Oh, we got this one.

[00:17:07]>> You know what this makes me think of?

[00:17:09]Like Um, I have a toddler, [clears throat] right? So sometimes I'm like, man, I wish there was like a little game he could play.

[00:17:15]>> Yeah.

[00:17:16]>> Um, because like all the games on all the games on iPads are like brain rot.

[00:17:19]>> Yeah, >> Um and filled with ads.

[00:17:20]>> could Yeah, so you get to Yeah, you have to pay like a subscription for the games.

[00:17:25]It's like you could you could uh code your own su- super simple games.

[00:17:29]>> Yeah.

[00:17:30]>> Um, and then ha- have them be educational and it could be like exactly what your kid likes and uh and if you maybe if your kid likes it other kids like it and you could sell it.

[00:17:38]Oh, and then now you then then you'll become the then you'll become the >> [laughter] >> Now you become the person that you hate.

[00:17:45]Because you've did all the testing. You did all the testing on your own child and they loved it and now you use that to manipulate the other children. Uh I don't know how this fusion works. If anyone knows how that fusion works, uh let me know.

[00:17:59]That game confused me.

[00:18:02]>> [snorts] >> Um What is this uh >> Oh, it's kind of like Oh, it's like Minesweeper.

[00:18:07]>> Minesweeper, yeah. So, I told him to make, yeah.

[00:18:11]Actually, this one works much better than than the regular ones. So, with Flappy Birds you have to click, this you can hold and so it's easier.

[00:18:19]>> [laughter] >> Oh.

[00:18:21]>> And then we have Echo, which I think is a mimic game.

[00:18:25]Yeah. So, you just go boom.

[00:18:27]>> And like Sa- Simon says sort of >> Exactly.

[00:18:30]Exactly.

[00:18:31]>> Yeah, this is like a This This is like a five bucks a week on the App Store.

[00:18:35]>> Yeah, [clears throat] for sure.

[00:18:37]>> [laughter] >> But I think it's cool. I I don't think this is the best use case for it, but I think like finding bugs and I think converting documents and I think, yeah.

[00:18:45]>> This is also like one prompt and like, you know, trying it for five minutes.

[00:18:48]>> Exactly. Exactly.

[00:18:50]>> You know, you can get This is We're trying We're trying to show you like what the possibilities, right? You can get creative with it.

[00:18:54]>> Exactly.

[00:18:56]So, overall, I think 4.8 with my vibes is pretty good. It's hard to tell because it's like three or four percent different, you know? So, it's kind of kind of hard to tell, but did you see this announcement? This This is crazy.

[00:19:08]Look what they said here. They said in this um in their blog about Opus 4.8, they say what's next? And then it says this and I couldn't believe that they put this in here.

[00:19:20]Um >> Okay, what is it?

[00:19:21]>> It says we're making swift progress on developing the secret cards and expected to bring Mythos class models to all of our customers in the coming weeks.

[00:19:31]>> So is this the Mythos that was allegedly hacking into >> Yeah.

[00:19:35]>> enterprise grade >> Exactly. And it was like too powerful to release. You know, if they released it it was going to be chaos or something because everyone was going to hack everyone or something and they found all these bugs in Firefox and like these different things.

[00:19:50]Um >> I need that. I need that so I can make websites faster.

[00:19:54]>> [laughter] [gasps] >> It's not going to make websites faster.

[00:19:58]It's just going to think harder and use more tokens.

[00:20:00]>> [laughter] >> Oh no, it's going to make the website slower.

[00:20:04]>> And then this is the last thing that I wanted to show you which is just Arena AI. Have you heard of them? Arena AI.

[00:20:10]They have like the leaderboards and they see who's like they rank >> They like is it they they rank the AI models?

[00:20:16]>> Yeah, they just made something fun. So they made these different in in 4.8 they made these different things which I thought was pretty cool. Like this flying game, they made this like Japanese thing with like you could change the the sky or whatever.

[00:20:32]>> team.

[00:20:33]>> Yeah, call team. And then these camels.

[00:20:36]I don't know. I thought it was pretty cool.

[00:20:38]>> Yeah, when I see this, I see like PlayStation 1 level >> [laughter] >> Yeah, that's okay. Hang on, that's generous. That's generous.

[00:20:47]Maybe let's go further back than that.

[00:20:49]Um I see like this is starting to get where it's kind of like a stylistic cell shaded little video game.

[00:20:58]>> Right.

[00:20:58]>> 3D video game.

[00:20:59]>> And this is all like probably in 3 GS, probably all in JavaScript, all in your browser, you know, so this is kind of >> Right.

[00:21:06]>> You're We're You're not in like Blender making something crazy, you know, great.

[00:21:09]>> Right. So, you know, I can imagine a world where in 12 months from now you can generate maybe small 3D games that that look good. You know?

[00:21:18]>> Right.

[00:21:19]>> You know, I you're not going to make a triple A game, but maybe you can make a a little linear small story game that you you have an idea and it can actually look good and is playable.

[00:21:27]>> Yeah, and it could be much faster.

[00:21:30]Uh much faster if you know kind of how to make a game or you get into it a little bit, it'll just make it so much faster to make a game.

[00:21:38]>> That's so cool.

[00:21:38]>> But yeah, those are the the the three things I wanted to show you, the workflows, the regular website, and the games. Um >> You know, on on on on Twitter there were so many posts about it.
