This TV Show Got Him Out of Jail

[00:00:00]A man once beat a murder charge because of a random sitcom filming in the background of a baseball game that he went to back in 2004. A man was arrested in Los Angeles for allegedly killing a teen girl. Police were convinced that they had the right person, but Juan kept insisting that he was innocent and said that there was one reason he could prove for sure, and that's because at the exact time of the murder, he had a ticket to the baseball game where the Dodgers were playing that he went to with his daughter. The problem was no one could actually prove that he was there at the time. They thought maybe the ticket was an alibi. And so although he still had the stub from it, the prosecutor argued that it didn't necessarily mean that he was sitting in the stadium during the time of the murder. And at the time, security footage was way too grainy and blurry for them to make out who was in the crowd. So that wasn't a valid argument either. So despite being innocent, he was about to serve in jail until one thing was remembered. That night, a camera crew had been filming scenes for the HBO comedy show Curb Your Enthusiasm inside the stadium. So his lawyer contacted the show's production team and asked for some of that video. While reviewing the unused footage, they found Juan sitting in the background with his daughter on the exact day and time that the murder was happening miles
