How do we deal with cyber bullying?

[00:00:00]What is the best way to deal with internet bullying? Great question. I'd love to tell you. You do exactly what Elise Myers just did. When social media starts to bombard you with bullying messages or messages that you just don't want to see anymore, take away the channel. The channel is the means by which a message is communicated and in this case cyberbullying is communicated through social media. If you want cyberbullying to end, you have to stop receiving the messages through this channel.

[00:00:28]Can you receive messages through other channels? Yes. Do you sometimes have to take a break and come back at it when we can?

[00:00:33]Yes. Even though we don't believe those messages that people are saying to us, it is hard to deflect them when there are so many at one time. And to my friend Elise, while you may never see this message, I commend you because that is what we need to teach our kids to do when they're being bullied on social media.
