That's bot builders scoring a lot of fuel in there. It's a very close match at the end of the autonomous period.
It's 20 29 30- 28 the blue alliance. So, Red Alliance will have first use of the hub. Three robots into the center of the field all trying to pick up that fuel.
Bot builders moving that fuel back into their end of the field. Iona Fusion shooting and scoring, but there's not a lot of fuel back at that red end of the field. You'll see all that fuel is in the center and down the blue end, which will allow them to start shooting. Bot builders shooting a bit early there before they've actually got control of the hub. So, there's no points for that.

Control moves back to the Blue Alliance who have a handy lead. And there's lightning bots and boat builders. Looks like they've got some comms issues. They're not moving and they're not shooting. Thunder down under, but Blue Lights 102 in the autonomous period. They take control.
Both teams 3132 look like they're stuck on some fuel. They can't get off.
We've had a few teams do that. Pimble Pride come and help their teammates and move them off. Pimble just can't quite get under the trench. They've got a lot of fuel in there. Red Alliance have control of the hub as Pimble Pride 6510 and Lightning Bots put it try to put that fuel into the hub. Red Alliance is just ahead. But just as they do, Barker Redbacks and Pimble PE plers put a huge amount of fuel up into the blue hub and blue take the lead. Another big few hoppers of fuel going in for the blue alliance. Red Alliance trying to move some fuel up to their end of the field. A few seconds to left. Can they get some final shots in blue? And they do. Great shooting by blue, but red now take control. Pinball Pride and Thunder down under trying to score, but we've got 9147 for the Blue Alliance. The Joeots playing defense down there trying to stop them shooting. They push Pinball Pride off as they do. Lightning bots though getting those shots in. Red Alliance have almost caught up. The blue have the extra use of the hub. Pinball Pers.

Both alliances start off. But look at that. Barker Greybacks unloading a lot of fuel there. 8613 into the blue alliance. Red Alliance shooting. That's Hastings Hero 6508. And some human players, but Blue Alliance take a handy lead at the end of the autonomous period for the Blue Alliance. 9984. That's Hasting. That's Iona Coro. Looks like they've stuck, but they're trying to push some of that fuel over onto the blue side of the field. Barker Greybacks have got a hopper full of fuel that they dump down into their end of the field.

That's Norman Hers Nitro look like they got some comm's issues. Hastings Heroes in a position to shoot. A lot of that fuel just missing. Control goes back to the blue alliance and Barker Greybacks put a lot of fuel into the hopper.

They just need to get some more fuel and get it back. Can Hastings Heroes get back in time? They're having problems getting under the trench. Little bit too much fuel. The alliance captain must approach me here in the center of the field to announce their pick before that timer reaches zero. During the first round of selections, alliances will have a 45se secondond limit to make their pick. When your alliance is ready, the student alliance captain only must come to me to announce the pick. As a reminder, teams have earned the right to decline other teams if they would like to form their own alliance, and it's within the spirit of our rules. And any team that declines an invitation may not be selected by another alliance.

Alliances do not get to select which backup team alliance the backup teams will come in by ranking order. Starting with the highest ranked remaining team. We'll need the student representatives from the backup teams to confirm their participation in the playoffs with the lead queer Joe in just a moment. And luckily because we've only got a 2017 team, all the other teams are eligible for our backup teams. But now it's time to find out who alliance number one would like as a member of their alliance. All right, everybody. Welcome to the playoffs and double elimination bracket in a double elimination format, which is what we've got. Once an alliance loses two matches, they're eliminated. There are two brackets, the upper bracket and the lower bracket. Alliances start their first round in the upper bracket.
Alliances that win matches progress through rounds in the upper bracket, but losing a match in the upper bracket moves you to the lower bracket.
Alliances that win matches in the lower bracket progress through rounds in the lower bracket, but a loss the lower bracket results in elimination from the tournament. The winners of the upper and the lower bracket play each other in a traditional best two of three final round to determine the tournament winner. to ensure teams get the time they need to keep their awards ready.
After rounds three, four, and five, we'll take a break and present some awards. It's going to be exciting, so get ready to cheer on our competitors.
And now it's time for our first playoff match. We're in the upper bracket for round one, match one, where we've got our number one alliance in red and the number eight alliance in blue. The winner of this match moves on in the upper bracket where the losing alliance will drop down to the lower bracket where they'll play another match and need a win to stay in the tournament.

All the teams are currently in the neutral zone trying to collect fuel and move it to their own alliance sides while 9987 looks to collect more fuel and potentially look to score in their alliance shift. 4774 the drop beds is after 4613 bucket red backs trying to prevent them as much from scoring as possible.

9147 is currently running defense on two robots at the same time. 6508 Hastings Heroes and 4739 Norman Hurst Nitro whereas in the neutral zone 7433 Iona Fusion is collecting some fuel and 10437 is potentially trying to stop them. Control of the hub has now shifted to the red alliance for the red alliance. 9984 Iona Quantum shooting and scoring. They don't have a huge capacity on that hopper, but when they do shoot, they generally score. They're lining up again. Red have control of the hopper. Blue take over.
Pimble PE plers coming out into the center of the field to fill up the hopper to get as much fuel as they can. Drop bears are down the end trying to play some defense, but both pimble peers and 3132 able to score at the blue end. The other robot 6476 that is supernova star squad are wedged underneath the trench there. They're on some of the fuel and they can't move.
Four robots all in the center of the field. Pinball L players trying to play some defense and the drop bears both of them down there. Pinball Pers trying to unlock their partners as a lot more fuel goes up. Blue Alliance now with a handy lead. 50 seconds to go. Drop bears trying to play defense, but there are two good scoring robots for the Blue Alliance.
Supernova Squad are now off, but 9987 Pimble Lers playing defense blocking them.
Drop there for the red alliance. Just can't stop both of those shooting robots. For the blue alliance, either 3132 or 6497 for that blue alliance. Iona Quantum shooting and scoring for the blue the red alliance, but it's no match for the volume that the blue alliance are able to put up.

But at the end of Autonomous, Red Alliance take the lead. So, Blue Alliance will have first use of the hub.

Those robots are down here collecting as much fuel as they can. It looks like Barker are stuck, but their partners, Pimble Pride, help put them off the fuel. Blue Alliance building up that lead with first use of the hub.

Barker have got a hopper full of fuel in the red backs, but they're being blocked getting back by the boat builders. Pimble Pride shooting and scoring. Red Alliance ahead by about 50. Huge amount of scoring and fuel there from both teams. Look at that. 264 to 248. It was that extra fuel during the autonomous period that helped get Red across the line. Red Alliance now take a 1-0il lead.

We've got next match to see if Alliance 2 can take it to a tiebreaker or finish it straight away. But for then we've got second or I should say our third and final awards segment before the final.
