[00:00:05]And today I have a double haul. Part of it is the order I placed for my birthday with the strawberry warmer because it seems like it was made just for me. I was so excited. So I just had to grab that before my birthday. It didn't get here in time, but that's okay. And then in honor of my birthday, I also let my uh Centy Club order process, but it was like the smallest one because I don't need that many bars right now. So, I went ahead and just got the smaller club order, but that way it's still like a little treat. So, that's fun. And then I'll also have cold sniffs of the April edit, the May edit, um that that club exclusive bar, sunset drift, and I think I'm missing something. But anyway, so I've got a bunch of cold sniffs, first sniffs to go through with you. So looking forward to it.

[00:01:09]Okay, like I said, we've got a party order. Outfit change during this video cuz I had to wait for this order and it got warm. It was cold this morning and it's warm now. I might have to take this sweater off. It's crazy.

[00:01:26]Anyway, but let's start with the bars and then do the warmers.

[00:01:34]The Mayedit five bar bundle comes with a cute little bag that you can fill yourself. Uh, spoiler alert if you haven't heard, the whiff box has a larger version of that that's great to take to an actual farmers market because the theme of the May edit is farmers market and it's so fun. Um, yeah. So, that is super cool. Also, I've noticed that a bundle of bars, at least for like the edit collection, counts as a bar in a buy six, get 10% off. So, on the one hand, it makes it go up, but it counts.

[00:02:12]In the past, it would not have counted for any type of extra discount. It's already discounted down to $25 for five bars. So, that's $5 a bar instead of six. And then you can get an extra 10% off if you turn it into a six bundle.

[00:02:25]So, I bundled the May edit, the April edit, and four additional bars, including clearance items, and everything got 10% off with my warmer, which was the 10% off warmer of the month. An additional 10% off. I think that's awesome. No, everything isn't the same, but that's a really nice perk that is better than it used to be. Just saying. Okay, anyway, let's dive into the bars. We will do the April edit first. that did not come with any sort of additional bag. Um, but they include if you get all five bars from the April edit, it includes Seagrass and Sand. I won't go on and on about this one. I've been talking about it, but I love it. Barefoot Beach, which I would not have thought I liked, but it ended up being my favorite new release last year. Uh, and I will talk about that during the club portion of my video, too. Sorry. But I do like it. Um, it reminds me of Vitamin R, and that was a good one. Uh, so I don't know if I'm like obsessed obsessed with it, but it was my favorite of the 10 new releases.

[00:03:38]Okay, this was the April scent of the month, Mist and Magnolia. So, this was 10% off during April. It's no longer April, but uh the notes are ocean mist, magnolia, and driftwood. I like some magnolia. I like some wood scents. Ocean mist. And I have never been something that we're like acquaintances, but I don't actually go out of my way to say hi, right? So, it's not my favorite, but let's see what the bar smells like.

[00:04:08]This is way too floral perfumey for me.

[00:04:11]I can see why people like it. There's plenty of people who will love this, but it smells like, yes, like an ocean floral laundry scent almost to me. M not really my favorite.

[00:04:30]Might give me headaches, but florals don't usually actually give me headaches. I just don't like it. Um, it's fine. This is a good floral if you like that type of heady floral scent.

[00:04:43]Um, it's just not me. But I'll give some out as samples, try warming some and see how it goes.

[00:04:49]But yeah, it smells kind of like something I could smell at the drugstore or the Target aisle or Walmart or whatever, though. Okay, breeze and balsom. This one intrigued me, but also made me nervous. Lemon, mint, and balsom. Technically, I like all three of those notes, though.

[00:05:11]It smells like vegetables.

[00:05:13]That's my first impression is vegetables.

[00:05:18]Yeah, the tree is leaning definitely more green kind of tree.

[00:05:26]It's okay. Again, something that I would go to a department store for rather than I'm ordering Centy. And one thing I've always liked about Centy is they're different than the department store smells. But let's see how we feel about sand and citrus.

[00:05:47]Orange zest, warm sand, and musk. This one honestly was probably the reason I was really hopeful to get the April edit because I I knew I liked the two catalog bars and then this one sounded like maybe it could be a good spin-off off of those two. The other two sounded like they might be okay. I was excited. As the reviews came in from other YouTube people, I was like, not super excited, so I just waited until May and got them. Now, smells like it smells perfumey, like a fruity perfume almost like a lot of people haven't been have been saying it's not orange zesty.

[00:06:29]In a way, I kind of get it. Maybe it's kind of like bergamit.

[00:06:34]And I could see how it would be BG, but it just kind of smells like a body care product.

[00:06:45]I don't know.

[00:06:49]I don't know.

[00:06:52]Okay. So, the three new bars from April, I rate them a C maybe in my preferences, but I do know I like these two. And I do plan to give out these scents as samples, even though it's not any longer the month they're from, but that's fine.

[00:07:11]Okay. And then let's do the May edit.

[00:07:17]The two catalog scents are black raspberry vanilla, which has been around for a million years, but now it's in the new packaging, and sweet lime and peach, which was a a new release last year. Uh, let's start with black raspberry vanilla. The description is dark berries and vanilla.

[00:07:38]This has always been just like okay to me. Like, it's fine.

[00:07:42]I prefer mulberry bush though.

[00:07:46]I don't know. Like it works fine, but it does clean out your warmer dishes. I was skeptical, but it does. If you use this and then um clean up and wipe out with a cotton ball or paper towel, it will clean out your warmer dish. So, there you go. And if you haven't tried it, it is a good opportunity to try it. It's been around a long time because it's popular. People like it. Now, sweet lime and peach is fresh lime, garden mint, and peach blossom. Last year it just smelled like I don't know. Sour isn't the right word, but it didn't seem to go together well. This year the tester surprised me.

[00:08:23]How does the bar smell? I don't know.

[00:08:24]Well, I think I get mint, lime, and peach.

[00:08:30]Kind of fruity. It But the tester was leaning almost like a nice cologne. Like I kind of liked it. But the bar is again, it's like a soapy fruity thing. But I think that citrus and lime citrus and mint do that to each other.

[00:08:49]Anyway, still not excited about that one, but I went ahead and got the whole bundle partly because of the extra discount, partly for the bag, and I wanted to get these scents anyway, so we just did it. And I figure I can either um make samples for people or give them away if I don't want to warm them all.

[00:09:08]Okay, wait. No, I need to start with the actual scent of the month.

[00:09:14]Farmers Market Lane is the scent of the month. So during May, it's 10% off on its own. This is pear, garden greens, and citron.

[00:09:23]Again, this to me is like the sweet lime and peach where are they going to go well together or are they going to smell soapy to me?

[00:09:34]I actually like that one.

[00:09:37]Yes, it's very gardeny, very green, almost grassy or you got the leaves all over your hands when you're gardening.

[00:09:51]Yeah, I like that. How much will I love it as home fragrance? Time will tell, but I do like the scent profile.

[00:09:59]unlike all those other ones.

[00:10:04]Yeah, that's it's fresh. Um I do like how the green is. And people are right.

[00:10:11]It's not like a fruity pear bar. It's a green bar with some sweetness from the pear and almost get that dirt scent on your fingers.

[00:10:22]Okay. So, while we're doing green, I'm curious to see how it compares with the other green one, which is a morning herb garden. This is basil, white florals, and cedarwood. Nervous about the white florals and the cedarwood. However, I've heard really good reviews on this one.

[00:10:41]Like, it's usually the favorite more often than not.

[00:10:49]I was kind of nervous it would be like the Ratatouille bar, which also did smell good like Italian herbs, but was too foodie. It didn't just It was fine, but I didn't love it. But it's not as intense. The basil is really toned down by just greenness.

[00:11:14]I think I do like Farmers Market Lane better, which I expected from the other reviews to like this one better, but I like this one, too. It also kind of reads rosemary mint without all the mint in it, but good. This one seems a little more like I kind of can feel it going up my nasal passage into the headache zone, maybe. But again, like I said, scents don't actually give me headaches usually, but they might aggravate things. So, okay. So, I'll have to warm both of those and see how I feel on warmth for them. How like are they good home fragrance?

[00:11:51]Not sure, but they do smell good. Okay.

[00:11:54]And finally, farmer strawberry farm stand. Wild strawberry, rustic wood, and tonka bean. Some people say it smells definitely strawberry, and some people say it's all wood with a hint of strawberry. Let's see how my nose thinks of it.

[00:12:11]Oh, I do like that. You know how maybe if it reads this way to you, Velvet Kashmir Woods is like a woodsy, but it's also sugary sweet almost. That's what this is.

[00:12:28]I honestly didn't expect to like this.

[00:12:30]No. To me, the wood in it kind of reminds me of wood that I would smell at an older person's home.

[00:12:38]A little bit perfumey, but the strawberry sweetness is really nice.

[00:12:46]Okay, so I think my favorite from May is the scent of the month, which I did not expect to be true, but I like it.

[00:13:01]Like, I want to go camping and walk in the woods.

[00:13:06]Okay, okay, okay, okay. So, I'll definitely be making several samples from these, but also warming them to find out. Maybe I'll think of putting up short reviews. We'll see. We'll see if I can remember to do that. We are almost done with school, so my filming time is running low.

[00:13:25]While I was ordering, like I said, those were like one bar, two bar, even though they are five packs. I also got two Christmas cookie from clearance.

[00:13:37]Yes, I like this.

[00:13:41]I like how the cookie whatever note goes with the pine. It smells great to me.

[00:13:47]And then this is supposed to be for my mom. Harvest blessings.

[00:13:53]I smelled it like, "Oh yeah." So this bar when I got it originally, I think was it I looked it up. Was it 2021 or 2022? I think it came out.

[00:14:08]I remember liking it on cold, but then I warmed it and I was like, not my favorite. I think it has pump I'm sure it has pumpkin in it, but sometimes pumpkin gets a little weird on warm for me, and I think that might be what happened. Um, but yeah, it smelled really good when I opened it. And then my sixth bar was my one choice from Bring Back My Bar During May, Rainbow Red.

[00:14:34]Uh, this one should not go back in my club, but but I really like it. So, I went ahead and at least grabbed one more. We'll see what happens over time.

[00:14:48]It's so fruity and juicy and vibrant. I wish it were slightly less watermelonyy and that's the only thing holding me back from keeping it a club bar. Well, and my stockpile.

[00:14:59]But, um, yeah, I I like that one. That one's my favorite. I've smelled a couple of the others, but not most of them, and they just don't interest me enough to grab them.

[00:15:11]I could have tried them just like I tried all these, but I didn't. Uh, also grabbed the scent circles from the May edit, which are all three, Morning Herb Garden, Farmer Market Lane, and Strawberry Farmstand.

[00:15:30]hoping that I like the scent, but also they have adorable pictures on the back.

[00:15:36]That was morning herb garden. This is the farmers market lane with a pear.

[00:15:42]And honestly, I bought them for this. A strawberry farm stand. This is lovely.

[00:15:49]This is perfection. But anyway, I thought it's worth a chance. And again, with a discount, I thought I'd try it.

[00:15:56]And I eventually always use scent circles. I grabbed from clearance also one more sugar cookie and a set of rum pump.

[00:16:08]Yeah. So, I'm kind of set on scent circles for a while. I need to use some more of those. So, those are the scented items. I do have two warmers, but my kids are coming home and we have stuff going on tonight. So, I'm going to have to film the warmers either late tonight or tomorrow sometime. So, all right. I'll see you. Okay. As expected, this video took me all day to work on and I'm film I'm I'm putting it up out of order. So, that's fun. Uh, but I wanted to get the warmers unboxed today.

[00:16:49]I grabbed from the clearance section the Harry Potter Hogwarts warmer. We have the Christmas one and I've been holding off and holding it off, but it dropped out to $30, so I grabbed it. So, let's pull it out.

[00:18:00]So, I enjoy Harry Potter. I've read it all. I've watched the movies. I've enjoyed it, but I'm not super obsessed with it. My husband is the Harry Potter head, but so I got this for him. But I love it. It is really awesome.

[00:18:21]We have a whole Harry Potter shelf. I'll try to insert a picture once I put this up. Um, so you can see how I put it out with our other Harry Potter stuff. I mean, it's not the most crazy aesthetically pleasing thing, but I try.

[00:18:38]So, this will go in there. Um, and I will have it lit up in there. It's gorgeous, though.

[00:18:48]So, that is super fun. But now for my birthday warmer, Strawberry Garden. This is the warmer of the month. So, it's 10% off. And of course, as I mentioned, if you bundle it with six bars, you can get 10% off of the warmer and the bars, which is super helpful.

[00:19:12]I still think it's a bit pricey. Um, but it was worth it.

[00:19:20]These instructions are a new format.

[00:19:23]I've seen those square ones for so long.

[00:19:35]Okay. I know people said you can put a ton of wax in here or it looks like you can. This is still way bigger than I expected. I thought it was I don't know. I thought it was going to be closer to the width of a candle, I think. I don't know. But it is definitely quite a decent sized warmer. Um, from the sounds of it and the looks of it, if you filled it up with wax, it would not melt all the way up. So, I would still stick to two to three cubes probably. I'm often a one cube person, but you know, if you want to do more than that, two to three, I'm sure, would be just enough to not you don't want it to be hard at the top. If you haven't heard, it is an 11 watt warmer, which is pretty good. Pretty high up there. Um, so it should perform pretty well. While I'm inserting pictures, I'll put up a picture of where I put this out and show you my strawberrycape.

[00:20:36]So fun. Um, yeah. So, I'm excited. This is just an element warmer. So, there's no light bulb and um it won't give off light, which I'm kind of over light bulb warmers at the moment. So, I'm excited to include an element warmer and this is just going to be so fun. I love I love the hand painted look of the strawberries and everything about it.

[00:21:07]Okay, last item from this order is a blue grotto candle.

[00:21:17]I ordered enough that I got the threshold for a free candle, completely free. They just put it on my order. You can't choose the candle. Um, but the ones I've seen have so far have been Blue Grotto and it's good scent, especially if you like citrus in any way, shape, or form. My husband was happy. And someone else said this, but it's true. I opened up my box of centy and smelled citrus right off the bat.

[00:21:46]So, it's definitely on the strong side on cold sniffs, which is funny because I do enjoy the scent, but I don't buy it in wax because when I did have a bar, I couldn't smell it unless I was up against the warmers.

[00:22:02]That's not typical, but I I just didn't.

[00:22:05]So, I didn't buy it. I didn't buy the wax, but that's good.

[00:22:12]Okay. Just another nice glass jar candle.

[00:22:17]These wicks, not super centered, but they're fine.

[00:22:22]This one is a little close to the edge for comfort, but I think it'll be fine, especially since I do try really hard to trim my wicks pretty well. Um, I do like that they are filled up quite a decent amount. Sometimes with even new Bath & Body Works candles, they feel like they're already like down here and they weigh them supposedly. You're supposed it's supposed to be the same amount of ounces, but I like when it feels like it's full to start.

[00:22:55]So, the Centy Club portion, it's it's honestly too much box for what I got. I didn't get that much, but I picked a candle for my half off item, so they had to make sure they packaged it good. So, I'm thankful for that. So, let's see which bars I grabbed this time.

[00:23:17]I believe this is the club that two club videos ago I got. I'm pretty sure I got my other medium-sized club in between now and then, but I had gone through and tried to get this particular club down, and my daughter was giving me a hard time because she's like, "Mom, you have an excuse for everything." I'm like, "I know, but they're so good." So, most of them are from the club vault from November. Uh, and these are the ones that are like left over from that, but I did add in a couple more. So, one of my favorites that I could get monthly, at least during the summer months, is lemon sorbet.

[00:23:58]Um, I actually have used a lot less of this than normal during like I the first half of the year I I do usually reach for it and I haven't been, but I have so many other lemons and um and vendor lemons that I have not been reaching for it. So anyway, I got to turn that around if I want to keep this in a frequent club.

[00:24:22]But I do love lemon sorbet. There's been a couple spring summer cataloges where I that's one of the only scents I order.

[00:24:31]Like there are not a lot of spring summer scents I usually like. So that's one of the ones I order quite a bit of.

[00:24:37]So anyway, it's in my club. And then also lemon is lemon lime fizz. If I had to choose, I would pick lemon sorbet, but I'm really liking lemon lime fizz, too.

[00:24:49]Um, it's a little more fresh and clean a little bit rather than tart lemon. But it's a mood point you can't get either.

[00:24:58]But I do use lemon lime fizz frequently, especially in our bathroom. It's just freshens it up really nicely. Uh, completely different churro. Churro.

[00:25:08]Love this one.

[00:25:13]This is the type of scent that makes me think I need less scents around so that I can melt this more often.

[00:25:20]However, I wish it were a little stronger. Just a little and lasted twice as long.

[00:25:28]Marshmallow mint.

[00:25:31]Yeah, I need to melt this again.

[00:25:38]I've had it in my frequent club because I missed it for a while. Um, but I don't know if I'm a frequent melter of it or not. So far, I I've not been a frequent melter of it. So, I need to melt that and see if it's staying in this club.

[00:25:52]Mulberry bush. This one I got for my daughter mostly, but I do really enjoy it.

[00:25:58]It's like a cherry leaning berry, but I don't know if I want it to stay in my club, but it is good. Like, I do enjoy it. King Cake.

[00:26:11]This is a good nice standard bakery.

[00:26:15]Although, was it a year ago or two years ago? I was like, I don't know if I like this. No, it was last year. Last year, I didn't like it. It was weird. But then when it came back for the vault, I'm like, why don't I think I like this? It's so good. It's good. Um, base bakery, too.

[00:26:33]So, if you just want to mix in some bakery to something.

[00:26:36]Toasted caramel sugar. I mostly put this in this club in case a customer nearby wants it, but now that it's in there, I don't know if I can let it go. I've been using quite a bit of it.

[00:26:50]It's so good. It's almost a toasted marshmallow scent. Like, it's very sugary, but it's got just a little bit of that smoky. It's not even smoky, but like it reads slightly smoky, and it's just so cozy. Okay. And then vanilla amber. This is one of the scents I was so sad that it they took it out of the catalog. I don't understand why.

[00:27:12]Um anyway, I love this one. I want to go put this on somewhere.

[00:27:18]But also, Velvet Cashmere Woods, my second one that I'm like, you have to have this. I want this all the time. I just sprayed my room spray. I I keep the scent circle in my car, but now that I can't get them, I'm a little panicky. So, I'm trying to room spray my scent circle in my car and see if that helps. So, we'll have to report back on that one.

[00:27:41]It's just also so cozy and kind of reminds me of like fifth grade or something. There was a scent that was cozy at school.

[00:27:51]I don't know. That's nice. And I've had compliments on it in my car. And then new to me is Sunset Drift. This is the one that was a whiff box exclusive. I forget if it was I think February, but maybe March, one of those. Um, and then they put it in they decided that a whiffbox whiffbox exclusive scent can be available for 30 days the month after the whiff box. Now, this is a delayed month after because they did that decision just just this month. So, it's available now during May. um just for May and then if there's any other upcoming Whiff Box exclusive scents, they'll do it the following month after that Whiff Box was available. So, I did sniff this earlier yesterday. Um and but let me tell you the notes. It is vanilla, orchid, sugared violet, and amber. I'm like, I have no idea if I like this, but I've heard some good things. Some people really, really like it. I forget what they compared it to, but I was like, okay, it's worth a try at least. So, it's interesting. It is good. It almost reads like fruity floral to me, but I don't think that's accurate. But that's what makes me think of. My daughter said it smells like grandma. And I said, "Well, which grandma?" And she's like, "I'm not I don't know actually, but I think it smells like my mother-in-law's house a little bit."

[00:29:24]And I don't know why. Um, but I did compare it to Barefoot Beach and Vitamin R, which I need to go grab.

[00:29:35]One second. Okay, Vitamin R. I finally did take this out of my club because I only warm it like one bar a year, so I went ahead and took it out.

[00:29:49]Okay. Yeah. So, I think personally that Barefoot Beach is kind of like a cross between Vitamin R and the Lion King Circle of Life Bar, that really earthy one that's very, not everyone loves it, but I do. I think Barefoot Beach is between those two. So, to me, all three of those kind of go together.

[00:30:16]To me, Sunset Drift is closest probably to Vitamin R on the spectrum.

[00:30:26]So, it would be like Circle of Life is the most earthy and sunset Drift is the most like bright, more floral, but not in a not in an obvious floral way to me cuz I don't love most florals.

[00:30:44]So, Vitamin R is like slightly earthier than Sunset Drift.

[00:30:53]Still leans towards that floral a little. I don't even know what's in Vitamin R at this point. Don't remember.

[00:31:00]And then Barefoot Beach is like just a little bit more towards the earthy side um with the with with like the sandy perfumeiness. Anyway, so on cold I am unsure about Sunset Drift. Like, do I need more since I already have Barefoot Beach anytime I want Vitamin R? I've got some left over and then I have a stockpile of the Circle of Life bar.

[00:31:33]So, I do like it, but I don't know if I love it, but I'm looking forward to warming it.

[00:31:39]I'm thinking I'll start in bedroom cuz it is maybe on the lighter side.

[00:31:46]But yeah, it Oh, and it smells a little more on the vanilla side than any of those three bars. So, there you have it.

[00:31:54]Okay, last. Which candle did I get for my half off?

[00:32:01]Seagrass and sand.

[00:32:04]Uh, this scent should not be a me scent at all, but it totally is. I've talked about the bar, but let's see how the candle is.

[00:32:18]Okay. And then, as far as I know, they do not put scent notes on the candles yet, but let's see if they changed that.

[00:32:30]Nope, just says seaggrass and sand. You would think on these larger labels they could put scent notes on, but that's okay.

[00:32:38]So on cold, it smells just like the bar.

[00:32:42]But I thought this would be a really nice one to to burn as a candle, like to add that fire um aspect to it, just to make it extra cozy.

[00:32:53]I have only used the scent in my bedroom, though, and I don't like candles there. It's just not a good place for them at this stage in my life.

[00:33:00]Um so we'll have to see how I feel about it in our living room where I am hanging out.

[00:33:07]still so cozy. So anyway, I thought I would like to try it as a candle. It's a cozy scent, so I thought a cozy, fiery candle would go well with it. And for a half off item at only $15, that's not too bad. Um, so yeah. So that means today I am adding two candles to my collection, but for $15 total. So that's awesome. And I am almost done with a couple candles.

[00:33:34]So, we're going to be evened out fairly soon. Fairly soon. I jumped the gun on this, but you know, birthday birthday.

[00:33:41]So, anyway, I'm excited to burn this.

[00:33:44]Um, if you wanted to see the wick placement, it's it's okay. It's this this wick is a little tiny far to the edge.

[00:34:01]They're pretty well in the middle.

[00:34:03]slightly towards one side, uh, the middle as far as top and bottom. So, they're not too bad. They could be slightly better, but I think it's pretty good. I think the two wicks can be hard to kind of get in there nicely, but that's just me. So, anyway, I'm looking forward to burning this candle. I don't think I'll wait very long. It's May.
