Only A Short Break Before Rain ReturnsAdded:
Beautiful weather for today and tomorrow for Memorial Day. Another day just like it. Sunshine, temperatures into the 80s, and most importantly, rain will be staying away for about 24 hours. It's on Tuesday. Rain chances expected to return back into our region. Satellite radar is extremely quiet, but you just take one step back out of our region. This is what we managed to dodge for today. Look at all these thunderstorms that are moving across the Appalachins. There has been confirmed tornadoes as well for today. But for us, it's that clear skies. This is very, very quiet. All this kind of focus for rainfall has shifted off into the east. And look how this is going to really balance over the next couple days because our next chance of rain is when this focus of rain starts to move back into the Ozarks. But this is what we have right now. The rain off to the east and then warm and sunnier conditions. We're managing to slide in for today. What I have plotted on this map here is it's calculating the amount of water that's in the atmosphere. So the areas to the east, that's where it's really rich into the atmosphere. That's where it's very humid. That's where you have a higher chance for rain. But for us, very low amounts of water in the atmosphere. And that's the same case for tomorrow where we're not going to see too much in clouds, let alone rain chances where the focus for rain continues to be off into the southeast. But for Tuesday, it starts to slide back on top of us. rain chances returning for Tuesday. And once this soggy weather moves back on Tuesday, it's going to stick around for most of this week. So, here's how the precipitation chances work out for tomorrow. I had it at 0% and then I felt like that is just teasing mother nature to prove me wrong. So, for that purpose, I moved it for five, hoping that we just do not see anything at all. Tuesday's a good chance of rain to move back and then we go from 40% to 20% to 60% for both Thursday and Friday. And some of this rain could linger all the way into next weekend as well. So, this week's going to play out very similar to what we just saw last week where the rain moves in, the gray skies, the overcast conditions, and the soggy weather doesn't really clear out all week long.
And I don't think we have a decent chance for storms. It's just annoying wet weather that we can't really shake.
Here's on futurecast. Tomorrow, beautiful, mostly sunny skies. Get out to the pool, get out to the lake, enjoy it while you can. Apply sunscreen as well. you're going to need it with those temperatures getting back into the 80s.
And then past Monday, here are the rain chances that start to move back in from the southeast for Tuesday as we're looking at Tuesday, mostly in that afternoon and evening hour for chances of rain and maybe some rumbles of thunder to move back into the forecast.
Nice day for tomorrow, though. 83 degrees pretty much everywhere where you're going, you're going to get spoiled with wonderful temperatures, spoiled with the sunshine and the warmth. So, make sure you enjoy it because the 7-day forecast after tomorrow gets pretty ugly. Chance of rain for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Thankfully, nothing looks like strong storms and no day this week temperatures should be too cold. We're going to balance somewhere between 70s and 80s throughout the 7-day forecast.
