[00:00:01]So, good morning, my little new butterfly.

[00:00:05]I have a new baby this morning, a monarch butterfly. Good morning, sweetheart. Looks like a female, too.

[00:00:13]She just opened up from her chrysalis.

[00:00:15]She's been in there about a week to 10 days.

[00:00:19]Hi, baby. Hello, sweetheart.

[00:00:22]So, she she'll hang on the the stem for a few hours and then uh when the sun comes out, she starts opening her wings and she'll take off.

[00:00:34]And here's here's one of the cocoons that's her brother or sister there that looks she's not ready yet.

[00:00:44]When it turns dark, they'll open up.

[00:00:46]You can see here's a little caterpillar.

[00:00:50]A monarch caterpillar.

[00:00:54]And these are the milkweeds that they plant from and I think there's somebody around No.

[00:01:06]You can zoom in and you can see the other one right there that opened up. Let's go check her out.

[00:01:13]And there's her brother or sister.

[00:01:17]Oh, you know what? Yeah.

[00:01:19]There's two on here.

[00:01:21]And this one just opened up and it looks like a female, too.

[00:01:25]One of you is going to have to find a male.

[00:01:28]Okay.

[00:01:30]The other one's getting darker, so it'll open up. So, that's great.

[00:01:34]The little girls will flap their wings in a few hours and take off.

[00:01:38]The important thing is if they're they're holding on, they didn't fall. If they fell, that wouldn't be a good thing if I wasn't here cuz then their wings would get all scrambled up and that's the end of being a butterfly. It just doesn't work that way, sadly.
