This video analyzes the 2026 Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza incident in London where a woman was filmed allowing her dog to urinate on a puppy pad inside the restaurant, sparking a viral debate about hygiene standards. The speaker, a food safety certified professional, argues that the controversy reveals a racial double standard where white people criticize black people for hygiene practices (like not wearing gloves while cooking) while accepting similar situations involving white people. The speaker contends that Gordon Ramsay's response was influenced by the fact that a black woman called him out, and that the incident highlights how 'cooties' (superstitious beliefs about contamination) differ from actual germ theory, with people applying inconsistent hygiene standards based on the race of those involved.

The Gordon Ramsay Restaurant Dog Controversy, Cooties Versus Germs And Antonio Talks & GizzelleAdded:
point has reached out to me. I've had multiple media outlets reach out to me to speak to me. TMZ has not reached out to me. They at no time requested my side of the story. There's some magic eyewitness that was there and who saw everything, which none of that happened based on their account. TMZ, you keep calling me the woman the woman. It's Giselle Karda. g i z z e l l e k a r d a y >> on it, gang. Get it right.
>> Y'all check out her page though. She stood on business. Her suspended Yeah, that is it.
>> [music] >> The other day Shout out to the homie the bro Antonio talks.
Because it's like I seen this and I seen other people talking about this. I didn't really watch it too much, but it's like yeah. We got to get into this.
About what I said before about white people believing in cooties. They don't believe in germs, they believe in cooties.
Not all white people, but yeah. A good percentage of them don't believe in germs, they believe in cooties.
Here we go. So I'm pretty sure we all have heard of the name Gordon Ramsay. If you didn't, he's this five-star Michelin chef. Through cooking shows this man has become a star. Now as of late though, Gordon has been in some controversy. In one of his restaurants back in London, a woman noticed something very unhygienic about this restaurant. So right here it's captioned, "Reason number four not to eat at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant.
Dog is allowed to pee and poop inside."
Manager said, "It's fine. We left."
Rightfully so, this is crazy.
So as y'all can see it's a dog.
>> [laughter] >> Pee pad in the middle of the You know what I'm saying? Dog, cute little dog by the way, but come on man. Some people got to understand that everybody's not an animal or a dog person. Especially not when you're Uh-uh. This ain't got nothing to do with being an animal or dog person. This is totally unhygienic.
For all you who don't know I'm I'm certified in handling food and like health and stuff like that, right?
I was thinking about starting a cooking channel myself, but yeah, I'm certified in all that. I I'm I got my certification. I'm licensed in everything. Like the to like inspect stuff like that.
This is unacceptable.
This is unacceptable.
A totally unacceptable. But again, this is what I'm talking about when I say white people don't believe in germs, they believe in cooties. Because a white person will watch this and say this is okay, this is fine.
And that same white person who will watch something like this and say this is okay, this is fine will cry if they find out that you gave them a cup that a black person drunk off of.
It don't matter if they you washed the cup a thousand times with the greatest dish detergent known to man, with the best dishwasher available. They find out you handing them something that you that a black person already drunk off of of or or handled, they don't want it.
They disgusted. They'll even ask you stuff like that. Like, "Did any black people drink off this?" Like, "Oh, y'all just giving anybody this stuff?" They don't even want it. But they okay with this.
So again, for all of y'all who don't know, if you watch cooking videos and stuff like that, when you see black people cooking and preparing food, one of the comments you'll see the most is where's your gloves? Where's your gloves? Where's your gloves? Where's your gloves? Mind you, you don't need gloves when you're preparing food. You need gloves to handle ready-to-eat food.
Especially if you're running a restaurant or you serving somebody else.
But if you're making food for yourself at home, you don't need that.
You don't need gloves. Like this is your food you're eating.
You don't have to worry about you contaminating somebody else. And they will demand you wear gloves.
And they will attack your video crazy about gloves, gloves, gloves, gloves, gloves. Mind you, those same white people will go to a restaurant like this and know that the chefs do not wear gloves.
They are touching the food that is ready to eat. They're even tasting the food.
This is known.
And they touching other foods and stuff like that, so you know, cross-contamination.
They're not really washing their hands.
The most they'll do is rinse their hands and wipe it on their apron.
And they will be fine with it.
See, this is what I was saying. I got to say it. I got to bring that again. Like it's again, back to when we was talking about the hantavirus.
The hanta or whatever, however you pronounce it, virus. About people not believing in germs but believing in cooties.
The same white person who argue you down that they don't need to wear a mask during during COVID is the same white person who will basically be in a who if they get close to black people they'll hold their breath because they don't want to breathe the same air cuz they don't want to catch something.
That same white person who argue you down about not wanting to sit on the same toilet seat as a black person or use the same bathroom as a black person who then also argue you down that it's not necessary to wash your hands every time you use the bathroom.
They'll argue you down about that.
The same black white person who don't want to drink off the same water fountain as a black person is the same white person who eat behind a dog. They do not believe in germs, they believe in cooties.
They believe in cooties.
And this is why stuff like this happen.
And this is why they okay with stuff like this happening.
And that's mainly racist white people cuz if you picking up what I'm putting down, the the more likely is a white person is not okay with being in proximity to a black person or touching something that a black person touched cuz they think they're going to get something, is the more likely they're okay with this type of behavior.
Using the bathroom with air and it's going to Like that is disgusting.
That is just truly disgusting.
Especially when you're out at a restaurant with food everywhere. How how As a person doing it, how could you think that's fine? How could the manager say it's fine?
But this is Yeah, this is insane.
And yeah.
I don't know if anybody else >> I've used a wee wee pad in a restaurant.
And again, you knew who was complaining, a black person. I told you. This is happening in a restaurant surrounded by white people. Nobody got nothing to say.
The only person who said something about it was a black person.
I'm not contributing that the behavior to a animal. Animal going to do what it animal going to do. Animals don't know better. I'm talking about the people.
Cuz again, they could have took that dog outside and walked that dog.
And again, if your dog needs to use the bathroom and stuff like that, you shouldn't even be in a restaurant.
That's not a service animal. That's a regular dog.
What do you look like walking your dog and saying, "Hey, let's go get a bite to eat" inside of a restaurant?
And oh yeah, let me put a wee wee pad down so the dog can pee on the wee wee pad.
That's unacceptable. That ain't That's Again, what I'm saying ain't got nothing to do with no dog. What I've got to say is what people are doing. That's unacceptable.
And you know what's so funny, too? If this black woman had brought her dog in there, people would have had a problem with it. Cuz I've seen that before, too.
Where people will have animals in restaurants, no issue if it's a white person. Black person bring their animal in a restaurant, "Oh, you can't do that.
That goes against the health code. The This is a restaurant. That's not a service animal, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
That's why I told you.
That's what I told you. I said like the more racist somebody is, the more likely they are to not believe in germs, but to believe in cooties.
But yeah, let's get back to this.
I'm in London. I want to tell you guys never come to here. I'm sitting at this restaurant enjoying a beautiful evening with my husband and my newborn baby, and I look up and I see some woman with her dog on a wee-wee pad taking a piss and a [ __ ] I tell the patron, the the lady who's working, the waitress, whatever, about this. She doesn't do anything about it.
The manager was there the entire time.
He said nothing. I still paid the bill, but I'm telling you now do not come to this restaurant. They allow dogs to [ __ ] and piss where you are eating. Beyond disgusting for a Gordon Ramsay London restaurant where he's from. It's disgusting. This is kind of like the chickens coming to roost type of moment for Gordon Ramsay. I don't watch him a lot, but through the clips I've seen, he's always on somebody's neck talking rude to them if their restaurant ain't up to par. So now he's faced with the same type of controversy. All that stuff you did See, again, when Gordon Ramsay be on people's body about their restaurant not being all up to par, it's cuz yeah, those are like real issues.
But an issue of like a dog and something like that, they don't see that as a real issue. That a dog, that ain't no real issue. All right, your food, your refrigeration system is not working, so your food is moldy.
Issue.
Dog running around, not an issue.
You got rats and roaches in the kitchen, issue. You got dogs and cats in the in the kitchen, not an issue.
So yeah, you got to understand, that's why he be getting on people. He be getting on them because they be having like issue issues.
That's like real issues like like the food can't be sold issues.
Like the refrigeration is not working issues. Like the sink is not working issues.
But like again, dog in the kitchen, that's not an issue.
It should not about people restaurant.
You got to be able to take it back. But his response is very telling, bro. And not to bring anything about race into this, but maybe it's because a black woman called them out. He felt to, you know, talk back. No, no, no, no. It is about race cuz again, like I said, the people who the people who are 99% okay with that is white. The people who are the ones complaining about it 99% of the time chat 99% of the chance it's going to be a black person. It is what it is. Like I said, like if you watch cooking YouTube, it's it was without fail. You watch black people cooking, comments galore about where your gloves at. And those are all racial.
It's not a restaurant or nothing like that. It just It's just always where your gloves at. Mind you, these are people cooking in their house for themselves. Like they're not selling this food. This is not food that they bringing out for people to taste. This is for them.
And it's and it always without fail without fail.
And then you'll watch white people cooking videos and you'll see the comments with black people like, "Why is that dog there?
Why is the cat by that food?
Why is this? Why is that?"
like this.
>> So, apparently, Ramsey has uploaded a video in which he is making fun of and mocking the situation that happened at his London restaurant on Friday.
Now, hey Gemini, um can this dog come to Street Pizza tomorrow night, please, for supper?
Bruno?
Tilly, what do you think?
I told you they don't believe in germs, they believe in cooties. And this is what I mean.
This is what I mean.
This is what I mean.
Man.
Hey, bro, this is stitch my TikTok video with a video with a dog laughing about it is beyond appalling. I will never go to another Gordon Ramsay restaurant as long as I live. Having TMZ run a factually incorrect story on me was not on my 2026 bingo card, but here we are.
Let's talk about it. There were so many falsehoods in this, it's not even quality journalism. Two women walked in with their dog in a bassinet baby stroller.
The dog was licking the table.
From the moment they walked in, it had not been 5 minutes before she put the wee-wee pad on the floor and started to encourage the dog to relieve himself.
From my See, again, she could have did that outside before they got in there.
She purposely got into the restaurant and did that, and she was comfortable doing that because she knew it would be no issue cuz again, they don't believe in germs, they believe in cooties. But again, if a black person had did this, they would have said something about it. Just cuz they just would have saw it as an excuse to get the black person out of here.
They wouldn't have cared about the dog per se. They just would have saw it as an excuse to say, "Hey, get out of here, black person." Or deny service to a black person. Just like when you see um like people who trying to go into restaurants and they're like, "Oh, you can't come in here with sneakers."
You look in a restaurant, people got on sneakers, but somehow, some way, sneakers are not allowed.
feet where I said, "Hey, what's going on? This is unsanitary." She kept comparing her puppy to my newborn baby.
She said repeat I'm so tired of that, bro. Um I I recently did a video where I talked about how I I I I used to have three dogs, right? Me and my wife before we had our kids, we had three dogs. One dog was from her brother, we took her took her in, and then we had uh two small toy poodles. And in that video, I stated how after we had our twins, right? We we didn't expect to have two babies at one time. Things got overwhelming, so we gave the dog back to her brother, and we gave the puppies to trusted people. I had a good section of people in there trying to make me sound like a bad person because I prioritized my kids over So, it was crazy. People like, "Oh, you just gave them away." Bro, they they was given away to trusted people with food and resources, but I have to prioritize my my my children, you know what I'm saying? And what people just got to understand, man, the hard truth is that yes, human life is more valuable than animal life. And this is coming from a person that's plant-based.
I'm caring as hell with animals, but at the end of the day, I know that a human life is more important than a than a than a dog life. A lot of y'all be trying to treat these little dogs like human beings. No, they are animals, but that don't mean you got to mistreat them, but they are still animals. You got to put You know what I'm saying? They got to know their place. repeatedly, your Exactly. And I'm happy you pointed that out, curly girl.
Her white husband didn't defend her.
Why? He didn't defend her cuz he probably didn't see nothing wrong with it either.
He probably thought He probably thought to her like, "Yo, you um He probably didn't say it, but he probably thought in his head like, "Oh, man, you're being mad dramatic. Like, you're making a scene. Okay, the dog is is pooping and peeing.
What's the big whoop?"
That's why he ain't say nothing cuz you notice she's the one who's saying something.
But yeah, keep it going.
baby shits and pisses all the time whenever it wants. What's the difference between my puppy, my dog? She kept comparing her puppy to my newborn baby.
TMZ, we demanded to move tables. We were moved and that was it. That never happened. We never demanded to move tables. We demanded that service and the manager address the patron. The manager told me, and I quote, Yeah, I told y'all.
Um, that's that's true, Jackie. They can't cook.
White people as a collective just learned how to cook about 200 years ago, if you're being real. They just learned how to cook like about 200 years ago.
But yeah, let's keep going.
200 years ago, the the oldest. And that's being generous.
That's awful. So, you want us to pay the full bill. We're not.
You're going to remove the service charge.
>> We cannot control the animals, ma'am.
And then he gave me a bill, the full bill, with the 15% service charge added on. To which I said, I am not paying the service charge.
>> The manager did not care. We paid the full bill. There was no discount given to us, nor did we ask for a discount. We paid the entire bill. Nobody at any time apologized for our experience. Nobody cleaned or sanitized the area in which the wee-wee pad was in while we were there. When you go to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, at minimum, you expect basic customer care, basic hygiene. Those are the two things you expect at minimum. My feeling is none of that was there that night. TMZ, at no point has reached out to me. I've had multiple media outlets reach out to me to speak to me. TMZ has not reached out to me.
They at no time requested my side of the story. There's some magic eyewitness that was there and who saw everything, which none of that happened based on their account. TMZ, you keep calling Let the woman, the woman. It's Gizelle Kahlid. G I Z Z E L L E K A D Get it right.
>> Y'all check out her page though. She stood on business. I respect it though.
But yeah though, this is Yep, check out her page. She definitely stood on business. I definitely respect her for doing that. And again, like I said, this is that's what happens.
Yeah.
They don't care.
But let But you know what's so funny too? Let her have walked into that restaurant coughing. Even coughing with her hand over her mouth, it would have been an issue.
People would have asked her to leave.
People would have been demanding that they they seats get moved from a from around them. And and rightfully the restaurant would have been in full compliance. I'm talking about regular coughing, not even like no violent coughing, not even no repeated coughing.
Yeah, shout out to everybody in the building.
Because the you know, the white man I used to scold her.
That's a part of it. The white man I used to scold her.
And again, it's the same thing what we was just talking about with the um with the um with the colleges.
Why would people kept going to these racist colleges? Cuz remember, why would you want to go to Alabama? Why would you want to go to Ole Miss? Ole Miss name is racist. Y'all do know what Ole Miss mean, right? Ole Miss because for all you don't know, the female version of master is mistress.
So, the slaves would refer the enslaved Africans would refer to the um to the master's wife, the mistress, as Ole Miss.
That's how you knew who they was talking about. And we say, um, "What lady?" "Old miss." They let you know, we talking about the master's wife.
That's what old miss mean. Why would you even want to go to places like this? Why would you want to even want to go to a place like Alabama where they honoring um, they got a whole section honoring, I think, this guy. He was like the governor of Alabama. He was a vicious slave owner.
Not only that, when slavery ended, he converted his plantation to a prison.
And and would have his overseers as police/correction officers, they would go out, accuse black people of crimes, bring them there, and work them literally to death, even worse than how he was doing during slavery. Because at cuz now that slavery is over and these people are inmates, that ain't no money out of his pocket if they die.
Like at least cuz of the slaves, he had to pay for them.
So, he wouldn't he he brutalized them, but it was limits. But somebody who got arrested for a crime, no limits.
No limits.
No limits. Why would you even want to play at a place like that? But people do it anyway.
Yeah, exactly, too. That's the reason, too. Because again, that's the other side of it, too. I lied it up when I was talking about the um the colleges, too.
They did have a lot of money. They had a lot of stuff there that that the HBCUs didn't have. That's the other side of it, too.
That's the other side of it, too.
Yeah, let's let the bro keep talking.
situation is crazy. And you know, I just find it so funny, man, that a lot of European descent people, white people in America, Caucasian people worldwide, they love to talk about people being dirty. Like, we always see little dog whistle statements of them making fun of people that eat with their hands. Oh, it's unsanitary. It's this, it's that.
But these be the same people eating burgers, hot dogs, and [ __ ] with y'all hand. I see a lot of talk about Indians.
They always trying to call Indians so dirty, so nasty. Like, if you just scroll through social media and see a post about India, but they'd be on their ass. You know what I'm saying? They could be doing anything and people talking about them just being dirty. But you will come across posts of, you know, grape crushing festivals where these people are stomping on grapes barefoot and nobody saying anything. It just show you the double standard of this white dominated society. And this is a prime example of like, come on, bro, that [ __ ] was disgusting. And I ain't really see too many people speaking out about it.
But could you imagine if it was a black restaurant or, you know, this and that.
Even in 2026, man, a lot of this the food is crazy. It's better to cook at home. It's cheaper at times. You know exactly what you're doing to your food and it's healthier. We living in a time where, bro, food it it can be used as medicine or it can be used as your poison. You got to you can pick and choose. Fast food is [ __ ] These restaurants, you don't know what they're doing behind closed doors. It's best to just cook and eat everything at home.
Now, the crazy thing is, bro, Keith Lee tried to tell everybody about this situation. He had a review on the restaurant and um, yeah. I'm going to ask myself, why am I sitting here empty-handed at home with no Oh, yeah.
I don't I didn't watch that video with Tariq talking about the bro, but yeah, I probably watched it another time.
Yeah, shout out to everybody in the building.
Yeah, food at home is a blessing. That's why I encourage people to learn how to cook.
Especially if you got like time on your hand, cuz I understand like if you were like a nurse or doctor and you working like 12-hour shifts and stuff like that, you don't got time necessarily to to cook. It's cheaper and easier to buy out than try to cook your own food when you're like that. But if you're somebody working like 8 hours a day and you got time on your hand, best it's best and cheaper for you to learn how to cook.
It's best, trust me.
Yeah, let's get back to this.
My food, even though I just left Gordon Ramsay's Fish and Chips.
Health reasons, safety reasons. Hey, both of those are true. First, I'll speak about the customer service. It was terrible. I called beforehand because they are on the strip, they in the Link Promenade, and anybody that's in Vegas knows the Link Promenade from the parking lot is about a 20-minute walk.
15, give or take, if you're walking fast. I didn't want to make that walk without my food being done, so I tried to call.
No answer. I walked in and immediately noticed the kitchen didn't look that clean. It was a bowl, like a metal bowl, full with 20 to 25 pieces of cooked fish that looked freezing cold. It was around open packages, it was around raw fish, it was around other customers' orders that hadn't been completed yet. It made me uncomfortable. I have a shellfish allergy, so my red flags went off immediately. Yeah, but like I said, that's how a lot of upscale restaurants work. And And nobody complains about it.
Nobody complains about it.
Like I Like I said, like I again, I haven't watched this video about the cross-contamination and stuff like that, where they handling different foods, they handling food ready to eat, where they handling raw food, they tasting the food that they sending out to the people, all of that at upscale restaurants.
All that is stuff that that would get a lower restaurant shut down if they did half that.
I didn't want to get sick. And immediately, and rightfully so. I'm a very observant person, so I took that into note, and I went to order my food.
I got three pieces of fish, some dirty fries that had like bacon and cilantro sauce on them, and a Biscoff [clears throat] shake. It sounded delicious. After I was done ordering, right before I got my total, I asked the lady, "Can you please make a note to the kitchen that I'm allergic to shellfish?"
All I wanted her to do was go tell the kitchen, "Hey, don't touch this fish with that lobster."
That's simple.
>> "After you get done touching that shrimp, go wash your hands because he to it. That's all I expected. She said, "No, I can't do that. Everything in here is contaminated." Those were her exact words. She said the I see I I told y'all I did not watch this video and I don't watch Keith Lee. Shout out to the bro, I don't watch him.
But I see he be doing some good work when I do hear about him. But this is what I told y'all. Again, like I work in the food industry. I know how these upscale restaurants operate. They do stuff that if you had did this at a mom and pop restaurant, you'll be shut down. And everybody knows it and they okay with it.
It's like like like a duh, like what what what's the big deal?
bowls, they use the exact same bowls for the fish, chicken, lobster, shrimp. They use the exact same oil for the fish, chicken, lobster, shrimp.
I'm not no expert, but that sounds gross. I said, "Okay, so there's no way that you can make an exception and not use the same bowl that you would lobster on my fish?" She said, "No, everything is contaminated." In a very stoic and cold manner. I said, "Okay, what about chicken?" She said, "No, we going to toss the chicken in the same bowl that we toss the lobster and the shrimp in."
I gladly and kindly turned around and walked my ass out of that building.
If you want to go, be safe, be careful.
I don't want nobody getting sick. God bless you. So that was 4 years ago now.
Back in 2022, it's 2026 and his restaurants are still alive and thriving, but he's been being called out for unhygienic things, particularly by black folks. You know what I'm saying?
The people they like to call dirty and uncivilized and [ __ ] It seems like we the Hey, it's always projection. So I'm seeing a lot of people disgusted at Gordon Ramsay's reaction to the lady thinking it's okay for her dog to [ __ ] in the middle of the restaurant, but this is the same demographic responsible for the big stink. The great stink. Do you know what the Great Stink is? I will tell you.
The Great Stink of 1858 was caused by an exceptionally hot summer baking 250 tons of untreated human waste and industrial sewage daily poured into the River Thames, which was also the city's main water source.
Bathing in it, cooking with it.
Hello? Drinking it. Hello? Like The intense heat and low water levels caused the sewage to fester on the river banks creating an unbearable stench so severe it forced Parliament to suspend sessions. Like I say, bro, England and and all these other white countries, they get a good ass rep because like I say, they like to call everybody else dirty and nasty. But you hear [ __ ] like this and we was never taught about it.
You never heard about it. You know what I'm saying? Like I say, man, if the roles reversed, bro, they they have great PR. If you control it. Yeah, you should have you could you could have made a formal complaint with with corporate behind that and with the health department.
Like cuz again, like I said, they'll come out for a Dunkin Donuts playing like that. Like if you would have if this would have been a five-star restaurant, you probably would have got no help. But a place like Dunkin Donuts, yeah, you could you could put belt to ass for them playing with you like that.
Shout out to everybody in the building.
Media, you control the narrative. I tell y'all this all the time. That's it for this video though. I hope you guys enjoyed Let me know y'all thoughts on this situation, man. Would you be cool Shout out to bro. You know what's so funny, too? I just found another video about this situation. We about to go over there right there. Matter of fact, let me like bro video before we leave.
Let's see.
Let's go. This is this another video right here.
You see this?
>> Ma'am.
What is your dog doing a wee wee pad in a restaurant?
What is that?
>> [laughter] >> So So this woman is at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant.
And in front of her, if you've ever owned a puppy, if you've ever had a doggo, you know what that pad looks like. And there is a wee pad on the floor of the restaurante.
Restauranto. Okay?
That's why I said you got to call the health department or you got to call corporate. Not the person who owns the franchise, corporate. And you got to call the health department.
That's how you get them. Health department and corporate, call them both. If you ever at a McDonald's or something like that playing with you, if you don't want to take it that far where you're going to call the health department, call corporate. Cuz you know when if you call the health department, then that then that that's something else. Like that's the that's a higher level.
And you And you might not be able to prove it or whatever the case may be or whatever the issue. But call corporate, especially if you record it.
Call corporate.
It depends. I don't really specialize in bars, so I can't really say too much.
But for the most part, cuz my thing is mainly food.
But for the most part, um the bars, as long as they pretty much washing the stuff that they using, like, you know, practicing basic hygiene, it should be fine. Especially cuz they dealing with alcohol.
But I never really heard too much about bars. Like if you talking about like a restaurant and a bar, then it then the same rules apply for just a regular restaurant, but as far as just like bars in general, I don't know. I'mma go look into that.
Thank you, Curly Girl, for bringing that up cuz again, I mainly deal with food. I like like the bars and stuff like that, that ain't my that ain't my my area. But, I'll look into that. Thank you.
Shout out to RBG for the win.
Um, no.
Gloves for preparing food is ideal. The thing is first of all, you should not be preparing food unless you wash your hands first. And by wash your hands, that's wet your hands first, get the soap on your hands, 20 seconds of washing your hands, rinse your hands, and dry your hands with a paper towel, not the blowing thing. There's a There's a lot of germs in those blowing things. But, you dry your hands with a paper towel, right?
And you don't touch nothing. Like you dry your hand with a paper towel, then you take the paper towel in your hand, you turn off the sink with that, and if you got to come out of a bathroom or something, use that paper towel to open the door for you. You do not touch anything.
After your hands is dry, then you put the gloves on.
That's ideal. And if you start handling different foods, you take the gloves off and throw them away, and you put on a new pair.
That's how you do it.
Like I Like I got like again, I'll be going through gloves like crazy. Again, so yeah, it's kind of not ideal, but if you're cooking for other people, that's the way you do it. Like if you're running any type of restaurant or something like that, you better have a budget for gloves.
Cuz again, you don't want to do no no cross-contamination.
And you just going to and whatever you handle is you handle it with that with those gloves on that you got right there, and then you got to got to take them off, and then you go handle something else.
Yeah, yeah. I know often times the glove I'm talking about that's how it's supposed to be done. I know most people most restaurants don't do it like that.
Cuz again, like I said, they not they not changing their gloves every time like they supposed to.
They are definitely not.
They're not changing their gloves every time like they supposed to. They're not washing their hands every time like they supposed to. So, that yeah, that's why it's a risk when you go out to eat and you dealing with other places, but it's it's it's a risk. That's why that's why again what I I said like I promote that if you can, learn how to cook and cook at home. You'll be healthier.
You'll have more money in your pocket.
And you'll eat better. Trust me.
Cuz there's nothing like preparing food the way you want it prepared.
Nothing like it.
Yes, exactly.
Never touch a bathroom door handle with your bare hands.
Especially if you're exiting the bathroom after you done wash your hands and you're going to touch food.
But yeah, let's see what this person got to say.
Let's see if they agree with with the lady or they disagree with her. I don't know. Let's let's get into this.
Make it make sense.
Crazy.
Like what is even happening?
And I promise you when this came across my feed, I went, "Okay, no biggie.
Gordon's going to be pissed about it. We can move on."
Was La Gordon upset about it? Oh, you just wait. Now, before we get to his answer and response, here is a Giselle, I think is her name, explaining the situation.
I was born in London. I want to tell you guys never come here. I'm Oh, hold on.
Super chat from Rice again says, "If you're ever If you've ever owned a pet or been to a dungeon, you know what?
>> [laughter] >> True.
Secret is MVP A'ja Wilson's go-to antiperspirant. Oh, I don't even know what happened. A commercial popped up.
Yeah, that might be That might be me time to go. Time to go.
Shout out to everybody in the building cuz I don't know. A commercial just popped up. So, that's the That's That means we can go cuz again, it look like she's going to agree that that was nasty and it shouldn't have been done.
Yes, but you supposed But when you go to bathrooms, bathrooms are supposed to have paper towels cuz again, like I said, most people know that those those um those um those air blower thingies for your hand, those things is filled with germs. That's why most restaurants are not even supposed to have those.
They supposed to have bathroom with paper towels that you use for your hands.
Not too much on the food trucks in New York. Not too much curly girl on the food trucks in New York. They ain't They ain't all They ain't all bad.
They ain't all bad. They ain't all bad.
Yes.
Hairnets on your head.
Don't And again, the only jewelry that you supposed to even have on is like a wedding band or something like that.
Otherwise in that jewelry off.
Yeah, not too much. Not too much on not too not too much on the New York food trucks. Not too much on them.
Have I tried Panamanian food before?
Probably did and didn't realize it.
Because again, like I said, like I live in New York, so I eat mad food from mad places.
And it's like that's what I do. So I probably did eat from a Panamanian restaurant before and didn't even realize it.
Probably did, probably didn't. But now that you mention that, I might just look up some restaurants for um I said yeah, look up some restaurants or look up some recipes, some Panamanian recipes.
But I'm pretty sure I did.
I'm pretty sure I ate Panamanian food. I probably ate more of it than I realized cuz I got, you know, Shout out to all the Panamanians.
That's a that's a good rule of thumb.
That's a good rule of thumb. West Indian restaurants, they may be expensive, but the food is always good, it's always healthy, and you ain't got to worry about a lot of that nonsense.
I wouldn't keep a wedding ring on whenever I'm handling food, but hey, that's that's a part of the rules. Like I'm I'm I'm like I ain't make that part up. People are allowed to keep their wedding rings and wedding bands on.
I didn't make that rule up.
I didn't make that rule up.
Yeah, hand san- hand sanitizers is good.
Hand san- It's not a replacement for soap.
Most people don't know that. Hand sanitizer is not a replacement for soap.
So, the best practice is always to wash your hands. Like, that's like mandatory.
The hand sanitizer in between or after the fact, when you done with the food, okay.
You wash your hands or whatever, you touch something, you you you hit the with the hand sanitizer before you start cooking.
Boom.
You need to wash your hands. Shout out to everybody.
They are mandatory, but they not mandatory annually. Once you pass, you pass. I don't depends on what state you in anyway. But, the thing is when I took my food handling exam, my teacher said something and I agree with her. The score is too low to pass the test.
Like, all you need is a 75 I think a 75 or a 70 to pass the test. Or 65, something like that. 65 75, something low like that.
Mind you, this is not chemistry to try to get your high school diploma where you just going to you just get a 65 right on time with chemistry and you never going to use this again in your life and you just doing it, you pass, go. No, no, no. This is handling people's food and this is you going into a business handling people's food. I think it's totally unacceptable to like have anything less than like a 80. Even 80 to me is too low. Cuz the teacher was saying that. She said like a 85 the minimum. Like a like like like 70 and you pass the test?
By the way, I got a um What did I get on my test?
I think I got a 96 on the test.
Yeah, I got a I got like a 96 on the test.
Cuz I forgot I forgot how many questions is. I think it's 50 questions.
So every question is worth two points.
So I yeah, I got two questions wrong.
So I got a 96.
Yes.
I I work good food. I might I I might I might do a pre-record showing my um showing some of my stuff. But yeah, I got a 96 on the test.
96 Yeah, they as I said like West Indian restaurants always hit.
I only been to one bad res- West Indian restaurant in my whole life in New York.
I'mma say that in New York.
Cuz I've been to some bad ones outside of New York. But in New York, only been to one bad one in my life. And it was like and I was pretty sure that they wasn't selling food, if you get my drift. Like the food was the front.
Was a front to something else.
No, I do not own my own restaurant and I do not currently work in a restaurant.
The funny part is I was going to get my own food truck. I was cuz my mother, she was like she was really on like, you need to get on she was like, you need you need you need to you got all these certifications, you know how to cook, you got to do something with this.
Like your own, not like going to go work on a restaurant or a food line or something like that. Your or a cafeteria, you need like to be in a the food business as your own restaurant. You need to start with a a food truck or something.
I never did it though.
But shout out to everybody. You know, we we in here.
We in here.
So, yeah.
Let's keep it going.
Executive chef?
I I don't I'm put it like this. I don't think I'm a I don't want to talk down on myself.
But, executive chef?
Mhm.
Yes, West Indian dishes are great. Like tonight, I just made for dinner for myself, I made rice and peas, and I made brown stew chicken. I was I did I didn't have no cabbage, so I couldn't make um the steamed cabbage. And my plantains got messed up cuz somehow, some way, somebody had my plantains in the refrigerator, so they was messed up.
I wasn't going to use those. So, it's like, yeah.
But, yeah, let's let Yeah, let let let's keep going. Matter of fact, let's switch gears. This is um the Bozo, big um whatever his name is, Big Ward the genius. He made a response video to me.
He wrote me on Instagram and was like, "Oh, I made a video to you." So, let's check this out. Shout out to everybody in the building. We got 114 in the building.
I'mma tell everybody my background.
Like, I'm I'm soon we about to do a members only live stream, which will be for everybody to see. But, during the members only live stream, I'mma allow people to ask me questions like that, and I will be answering them.
