They are there for you to direct your attention inwards and understand why they are appearing, what information they are bringing to your attention. My invitation for you is to sit with those feelings, feel them, journal about them, talk to the therapist.
Give yourself opportunity to experience life differently through processing your emotions. And this is, by the way, a learnable skill. It is a skill.
