Microbiome, Soil Health, and Public Health - A Vital Connection

[00:00:04]I've commissioned all kinds of these new studies on the role of the microbiome, which has been the most just a largest organ in our body and has been the most ignored by science, but we already know enough to know that the health of microbiome affects every organ in the body. It affects our mood. It affects mental health.

[00:00:25]And the the quality and health of microbiome in our body is absolutely dependent on the microbiomes of soils on which our food is derived.

[00:00:37]And see, that food does not, when it when the microbiome is not healthy, is not producing the micronutrients that are required for brain growth and function and physical growth and bone growth.

[00:00:53]And [clears throat] just from a public health standpoint, um, we need to focus we need to make the soil the central focus of all of our public health discussions.
