Russia faces a three-pronged crisis: military setbacks on the front lines (losing 46 km of territory near Pokrovsk), domestic unrest with citizens openly mocking Putin, and a fuel crisis in Crimea that threatens Putin's political power base. This strategic pressure has pushed Putin to risk escalation by launching a Russian drone into NATO territory (Romania), where it injured two civilians. Under NATO's Article 5, this attack could trigger collective defense obligations across all 32 member states, potentially escalating the conflict from Ukraine to the broader European theater.

Ukraine Takes Back What’s Theirs... Russia Forced Into HUMILIATING War-Ending RetreatAdded:
A Russian drone just flew into an apartment building in a NATO country.
Two civilians were injured. That country was Romania. And under NATO's Article 5, an attack on one member is an attack on all 32. So the question every country is asking right now is whether this was a mistake or this was a test. Because if this was a test, Putin just put his finger on the most dangerous trigger in modern geopolitics. But you see, this video isn't really about a drone. It's about why Putin felt cornered enough to risk a NATO escalation in the first place. You see, over the last 2 weeks, three things have gone catastrophically wrong for Russia. The army is losing ground on the front lines, and just now they lost critical territory near PCRs.
The home front is openly mocking Putin.
And the one price that defined his entire presidency, Crimea, is starting to slip out of his hand. So, in this video, I want to walk you guys through what's actually breaking inside Russia right now and why the next move Putin makes could decide whether this war stays inside Ukraine or spills into the rest of Europe. But before we get into the front lines, the brigade the Ukraine just wiped out and the fuel crisis that hitting Crimea, I want to show you guys something I have not seen in four years of covering this war. Russian citizens are now openly making jokes about how badly Putin is losing. Take a look at this joke. This is not coming from me.
This is coming from Russian social media. Putin visits the school, gives a speech about how Russia is the greatest country in the world, and then he opens it up for questions. A school boy stands up and says, "My name is Shasha and I have two questions. First, why did Russia invade Ukraine? And second, why haven't we won this war yet?" You see, right before Putin could answer, the lunch bell rings. Unfortunately, everyone has to go to lunch, so they leave the classroom. But luckily, the Q&A continues after the lunch break.
This is when another boy stands up and says, "My name is Boris, and I have four questions. One, why did Russia invade Ukraine? Two, why haven't we won the war yet? And the new one, why did the lunch bell ring 20 minutes early? And the last one, where is Shasha? Now, that is the joke Russians are sharing just to pass the hard times through. Russians are catching on that Putin is not exactly making wise decisions. And the clearest example of that came 2 days ago when one of the Russian drones did something that no Russian weapon was ever supposed to do. It hit an apartment building in a NATO country. But before we look at why that strike is so important and how NATO countries are responding, I have a question for you guys. Now, before we talk about this NATO strike, we need to understand the pressure that Putin is under right now.
Because this drone strike in Romania was not ordered by a man who has a lot of options left. Let's start with the front lines. For the last year, every Russian propaganda outlet has been promising that the city of PRs was about to fall.
It was about to be under Russian control. And this is important because Pra is the logistics hub that connects the rest of the Donesk front to Ukrainian controlled territory. If Russia takes this city, the entire eastern front becomes a bit more problematic for Ukrainian forces. And this is exactly why Putin was telling Russians last October, October 2025, that the city would be captured by winter. In fact, he was saying that half the city is already captured. But guess what? Winter came and went and PCR is still standing. And here's what just happened a few days ago. Deep State Map reports that Ukrainian forces have liberated territory near Novoska and advanced through a series of settlements on the Olex Standrifka sector where clearing operations are now ongoing in all these areas. I'm sure I'm going to butcher this, but nonetheless, the important part is that because of these advances, Russian forces have lost at least 46 km of territory. Now, this is not major territory. 46 km is roughly the size of Manhattan, maybe a little bit less, but nonetheless, the direction of Ukrainian gain is what's important.
This tells us that Russia is not just not advancing, they're actually retreating and Ukraine is able to gain ground back. In fact, this is becoming so apparent that even Russian military bloggers, so people who update the Russian population on war, how the Russian forces are doing it on the front lines, well, they're talking about how bad it has gotten. Here we have a clip from one of the most popular Russian war bloggers who's publicly now saying that Russia is basically unmatched. When I say unmatched, that might not be the right word. Russia is basically falling behind when it comes to Ukrainian drone advances. Ukraine is getting so far ahead that Russian soldiers stand no chance. Take a listen.
>> At the moment, the drone parody is such that for every one of our soldiers, there are 20, 30, and sometimes up to 70 enemy drones. Yes, that happens, too.
>> And guess what? It's not just a military blogger who's saying this. Putin himself had to come out and confirm. And this is where before I play this clip, I want to point out the timing of this confession that Putin is making. He's publicly saying that Ukraine now has an easier time hitting targets inside of Russia.
And that's important because roughly a week ago, we talked about how Moscow just suffered the largest attack it has ever suffered since World War II. Pretty historic. The Russian public, in fact, Moscow elites could see this drone attack. And this is exactly why Putin could not run away from this. Putin could not just ignore this. And that's why he had to come out and admit. And guess what? He's not giving Ukraine the credit that Ukraine deserves. He's trying to put the blame on Western countries. Just take a listen to yourself.
>> And the attempts to hit Russian territory and in other places, well, since the West is supplying them with drones, it's made so much easier.
They can just take another one out and press the button. But it means that we must strengthen our systems. And it's something that we will continue to do.
Now, all this is just one part of the problem that Putin is facing. The frontline losses is just the first crisis. The second one is actually happening behind the front lines. And it actually has to do with Ukrainian drones once again. Just last night, Ukrainian forces delivered a kind of justice that some Ukrainians have been waiting for for 4 years. Ever since this invasion began, this special military operation.
Here's that report. The base of the brigade linked to the BHA atrocities has been hit. On the night of May 30th, Ukrainian drone operators struck a series of Russian targets deep behind the front lines with 21 confirmed hits reported. The targets included training grounds, logistics routes, and gas storage facilities. Among them was a training area used by Russia's 36th Army and personnel from the 64th Mortar Rifle Brigade. The unit widely linked to the atrocities committed in Bha in 2022.
Initial reports suggest Russian forces suffered 31 casualties, including both killed and wounded. Now, if that name doesn't ring a bell for you, let me tell you why it's so important. The 64th Mortar Rifle Brigade is the unit international investigators have linked to the Bha massacre. BHA is a small town right outside Kev. And in March of 2022, so basically the first month of the invasion, Russian forces occupied the city in hopes of taking over Ke. But when they failed, they pulled out. And this is when journalists and international investigators from UN went in and what they found was truly horrific. They found hundreds of dead civilians scattered through the streets.
Some of them had their hands tied behind their backs. Others were buried in mass graves behind churches and apartment blocks. In fact, we actually have some CCTV footage that I'm not going to show you guys, but it basically shows civilians trying to run away from Russian forces and getting shot in the back while they're trying to flee. This is what happened when Russia basically failed in their 3-day special military operation and Russian forces took out their anger on the civilian population of the city. Now, for 4 years, the men of that brigade went home, probably got promoted, went on vacations. They did anything that they wanted to do. They believed they were safe. Now, this is where I want to talk about a report that we did sometime last year. And in that report, we talked about a program that Ukraine has been quietly running where in bunkers, roughly three, four areas or three, four bunkers around the city of Kev, there are Ukrainian officials who basically have pictures of every single Russian soldiers and officials who has committed a war crime. Whether it is a war crime that happened on camera or a war crime that Ukrainian officials learned about from eyewitnesses and every time they get a picture they put it on the wall and then 24/7 Ukrainian officials, Ukrainian hackers, Ukrainian investigators are trying to find these Russian soldiers. Doesn't matter where they are, whether they are in Russia, whether they are, let's say, overseas cuz some of these soldiers they go on vacations after committing war crimes in Ukraine and they are tracking all these soldiers and they're trying their best to deliver justice. the justice that Ukrainian civilians deserve. Now, this secret operation has resulted in multiple different successful operations that Ukrainian forces have carried out, aka door dashing justice to Russian war criminals. And just yesterday, we had another one that got added to the list.
And I'm sure this is not the last one.
Hopefully, the last one is Putin himself. But nonetheless, this is the two crisis that Russia is dealing with.
On one hand, Russian forces are losing ground in PCR, a sector that Putin himself has talked about publicly. And on the other hand, Russian soldiers, maybe elite soldiers, are getting targeted behind the front lines. And Russia can't do anything to stop it.
Now, as if all this wasn't bad enough already, the worst news is actually coming from Crimea. And for Putin, Crimea is actually very important because we have to look back and see what was happening in Russia when Putin actually captured Crimea. You see, in 2014, Putin was politically weak. He had just changed the Russian constitution so he could run for a third term. And his approval numbers were the lowest they have ever been when he actually took office for his third term because Russians were just not happy about this.
They believed that Russia was going back in time. They were going back to the Soviet Union times when they were dictators and all that. And many Russians who said this were actually right. But guess what? Crimea was the gamecher that turned Putin's fortunes around. He annexed Crimea and his approval ratings shot up overnight. The domestic popularity was through the roof. In a way, you can make an argument that Crimea is the source of Putin's political power. And it is the proof to Russian soldiers that he's the man who made Russia strong again. So, if Crimea starts to slip up here and there for Putin, that's a very, very big problem.
And guess what's happening inside Crimea right now? Take a look. Last week, Ukraine launched what they are calling operation logistical lockdown. The goal of this operation is pretty simple. Cut Crimea off from the Russian mainland.
And within one week, Ukrainian special forces have hit over 500 Russian vehicles on the supply route, the land route that feeds the peninsula. That means fuel trucks, ammunition, convoys, anything that's coming in that looks military related, Ukrainian drones take care of business with that vehicle. And 500 in a week is a surprisingly high number. This is something we have not seen before. And the way Russia is operating right now, they're going to have a very hard time replacing those trucks or vehicles or convoys, whatever was destroyed. And guess what? This is already having an impact on ordinary life in Crimea. There are social media videos that are circulating inside of Russia where Russians themselves are complaining about the fact that they cannot get any gas in Crimea. They basically are saying that you can go into Crimea by filling up gas, filling up your car in mainland Russia, but you cannot drive out because all the gas stations have just such a long line that you don't get what you need. Take a listen.
>> Here's the situation with gasoline in Crimea. You drive into Kirch, there's still gas. And towards the south coast, there's still gas. And at gas stations like TE's satan if you drive towards Krasnop Paracops then starting from D's Hankoy there is absolutely no gas of any kind. No 92 no 95 only diesel fuel and even then some gas stations are missing everything. So keep this in mind when traveling to Crimea. Although what is there to keep in mind? You just drive across Crimea like this and there's no gas and you won't have enough for the return trip. So guys, those of you with planned trips should probably reconsider your plans because there really is a possibility you'll arrive by car and leave on foot walking. Yeah.
>> Now, fuel shortages are the worst inside of Crimea. But that doesn't mean other regions are not suffering. In fact, this is a problem that's also popping up at an increasing level inside mainland Russia. And this is exactly why even Russian media is being forced to report on it. Take a listen to this BBC report from Steve Rosenberg. And today's Russian papers report on a fuel shortage in Russia. Navis Gazetta writes, "The number of Russian regions with restrictions on the sale of fuel is multiplying. In a number of regions, restrictions are being imposed on fuel sales. Restrictions on the sale of AI 95 petrol were introduced in several districts of the Castraat region.
Restrictions at some petrol stations in the Tier region. Problems with fuel have been observed in the Magadan and Merman regions. So why is this happening? Well, the paper gives this explanation. One of the reasons for the shortage problem is unscheduled repairs at oil refineries.
Due to unscheduled repairs, a number of refineries reduced fuel sales in May.
About 1 of all refining capacities in the country is affected. Western news agencies report that almost all major refineries in central Russia were forced to suspend or reduce fuel production.
Their combined share in fuel production is more than 30% for petrol and about 25% for diesel. No reason given yet in the article for these unscheduled repairs, which you would imagine is linked to recent Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian oil facilities. But this does get a brief mention later on in the article. First, it states that the Russian authorities emphasize that the domestic market is replete with fuel and that last week the energy ministry again assured that Russia's fuel industry is fully prepared for the period of seasonal rise in demand for petrol and diesel fuel as planned. The Kremlin too did not see any risks with the provision of fuel, including as a result of drone strikes on refineries. The Kremlin lies are getting so transparent that even Russia's own former generals are now publicly calling out the Kremlin. This is Iiggore Gerkin. If that name doesn't mean anything to you, here's a short recap. Girkin was one of the architects of Russia's 2014 invasion of Eastern Ukraine. He helped Putin take Donesk and Luhansk and then he had a falling out with Kremlin over how badly the current special military operation is going. So Putin threw him in prison. Now luckily for us, even from prison, Geran still manages to release public statements and every single time he's just going after Putin. Take a listen to what he just said. Nobody does more to discredit and undermine Russia than our own government. The strategy stubbornly pursued for four years after epic failure of idiotic plans to replace Zillinsky is slowly but surely leading us to catastrophic defeat. That's coming from a Russian war hero who I think understands war a lot better than me and probably probably Putin too. So this is everything Putin is dealing with. And now it kind of makes sense when a leader like Putin, a war criminal like Putin is cornered badly, he does what every corner leaders have done before him. He escalates the war, which brings us back to the drone that we talked about at the start of the video. Two days ago, a Russian-made drone flew across the Romanian border and slammed into an apartment building. The fire injured two Romanian civilians. And important to point out, Romania is a NATO member, which means under article 5, if this is considered an attack on Romania, it would mean an attack on every country, the United States, the UK, France, Germany, all of them, and they would have to come to Romanian's defense. Now, to give Russia the benefit of the doubt, and I know Russia probably doesn't deserve any, it's quite possible that this drone was not aimed at Romania. It was probably a drone meant to hit Ukrainian civilians that got off course.
Now, that doesn't actually make the situation better, but it just means that Russia is now killing civilians so recklessly that the violence is spilling across NATO borders. Here's the part that makes me a little nervous. This is not the first time Russia has done something like this. We covered last year how Russian drones and Russian jets were violating NATO airspace for months.
Sometimes these drones were going deep into NATO territory. And each time NATO responded with a stern statement and Russia pretended to apologize. But if you look at the whole thing together, it seems like Russia is slowly escalating.
It keeps going up a step because so far we had drones fly into a NATO country or maybe, you know, drop down on a forest or an empty area. But this is the first time a Russian drone hit an apartment building that was occupied and injured two NATO civilians. If you want to be really cynical, it seems like Russia is trying to test the line. Russia is trying to figure out at what point does the NATO response become something bigger than just a statement. Now, the good news is that NATO's response this time was actually stronger than usual.
Within 24 hours of the attack, NATO Secretary General Mark Route confirmed that the drone came from Russia and the United States along with NATO condemned the strike and reaffirmed that NATO will defend every inch of the alliance territory. Now, the United States being part of the statement is definitely significant because as you guys know, Trump has not been fan of NATO as of recent. He has made some comments recently about NATO being powerless without the United States. In my opinion, statements like these give Putin more of an impression that maybe he can push the boundary a bit more than he could otherwise. Now, if you shift our focus to Russia, we had Putin himself who was in Kazakhstan when this attack took place and he was giving a speech literally hours after the attack and he kind of gave an official answer.
Take a listen.
>> Someone told me just before I entered here, a drone entered the Romanian airspace. No, I don't know what drone.
So please tell me what's the information in the media now?
A drone hit residential building in Romania and they say it's a Russian drone. Who says that it's a Russian drone? Many people. Many people means no one. Precisely who names?
Ursula Fonder.
Well, she didn't go to Romania. She didn't investigate. She didn't look at the remnants of the drone. No one can say where a flying vehicle came from before they run a forensic analysis because some drones, Ukrainian drones enter Finnish aerospace, Polish aerospace, the Baltic countries aerospace, Ukrainian drones do that and the first reaction was exactly the same like they have now in Romania.
Russians are hitting us, they were saying. And then they found out that these drones had nothing to do with Russia. Russia had nothing to do with these drones. They came from Ukraine. Now, guess what? All the while Putin is saying that, hey, that drone was not a Russian drone. We have former Russian president and current head of the Russian security council publicly say that European citizens now need to be more careful when they sleep at night because they do not live in peace. That statement is actually coming from Dimmitri Medv. Take a listen. Euro importance threw a tantrum because some drone hit a residential building in Romania.
Obviously, first we need to establish who exactly launched this drone. Now, when this statement came out, this was hours after the drone strike took place.
At that point, only Romania had confirmed that this was a Russian drone, but hours later, we had confirmation from NATO and of course from the United States, too. So, pretty much everyone agrees, European countries, NATO as a whole, and the United States that this was a Russian drone. But in any case, all EU countries should keep quiet about it. European states are direct participants in a in the war against Russia, and no one is even trying to pretend otherwise anymore. Yes, they use their Bandaraa proxies to conduct hostilities, but what difference does it make to us? European drones, components for them, other weapons, and not to mention intelligence data are used daily to attack our country. And because of this, our residential buildings are damaged and civilians are killed. Just like in the case of the attack in Trout, the blood is on the hand of such scum as Ursula, Mars, Macron, Starmer, and other disgusting parasites. So, let them get used to it. This is not the last time.
So he's kind of confirming that hey this wasn't Russia but the attacks are going to keep coming. Make of that what you will. There is a war going on and citizens of EU countries as the population of states that are in a state of war should not go to bed expecting a quiet night especially near drone manufacturing plant supplying Bandera forces. Everyone's saying Russia did not launch this attack, but at the same time they're saying hey you should be careful if you live near a manufacturing plant.
Let's continue. So shut your trap. These are just flowers. At the same time, all European non- entities, idiots at the head of the EU, petty bureaucrats managing this misunderstanding called the European Union, know perfectly well how to end this war. So address them.
Now, important part to also point out here is that he's been doing this for a very long time. And earlier, sometimes last year, he would also include the United States in these statements whenever he was just like dishing out threats. But one time I think he went too far basically saying that Russia was getting ready to nuke the US. And this is when Trump responded by saying, "Hey, we have placed nuclear submarines on Russian coast in the Black Sea. So if Russia wants to start a nuclear war, United States is ready. We have stronger nukes and bigger nukes than Russia." And since then, Medv has not been mentioning the United States or Trump at all in his statements. That does kind of confirm the fact that this is all a big bluff.
like he's pretending to be the crazy guy, hoping that the other side just backs down and believes him that, hey, he's a crazy guy. He could do anything.
When in reality, if you actually push back, he backs down pretty quickly. Or I guess Russia backs down pretty quickly.
Now, one last thing before I go. In the coming week, you're probably going to see a wave of Russian propaganda on social media pages that you are following, especially here in the United States, because we have political commentators like Candace Owens, maybe even Tucker Carlson going to Russia for a vacation. Now, I don't know about you guys, but I like to take my vacations in areas where you don't have to worry about drones, but to each their own.
Now, I'm sure Russia is going to use this to push some kind of anti- Ukrainian propaganda somehow. I don't know what it's going to be, but I know it's coming. So, be sure to hit the subscribe button down below because we are here to debunk anything that Russia is getting ready to push. We've been doing this for the last four years and we're going to continue doing this as long as Putin is in power. That's all I have for you guys. My name is Sam. I'll see you in the next
