Can Prayer Really Heal Physical Pain?

[00:00:00]Well, Christine couldn't get out of bed.

[00:00:02]The pain was too severe. Her body was under attack from infection and disease.

[00:00:08]And when she was told that the only way forward was more pills, Christine turned to God for help.

[00:00:15]>> I had sinus surgery at the end of August and I guess I got infection in there. I started running a fever. I laid in that bed in there and I I could not get up by myself.

[00:00:29]It was most horrific pain I've ever been in my life. I said having a baby was much easier. I went to the hospital and they'd run me through so many tests.

[00:00:40]They did a spinal tap, everything that they could do to find out. Finally, they said I had MRSA. They started giving me IV antibiotics and I got a little better. Then they sent me to a rheumatoid doctor. She said, "Oh, you got PMR, and that's an autoimmune disease that c affects your joints and your muscles." So, she wanted me to take these little pills for 5 days. They had chemo in them. I'm sorry.

[00:01:10]I said, "I'm going to depend on the Lord to heal me." Well, I know that God could heal me. I started watching the 700 Club 3 or 4 years ago, maybe longer. Just every once in a while. Then I started watching it every day and I think I wish that I'd get a word on healing. And on the 25th of September, uh there's someone you've got a severe arthritic condition. You heard the testimony about arthritis and you're saying that's me. I have it in every joint. I have it in my back, too. I have it in my right shoulder, my right elbow, my hands. God is healing you of that right now, giving you full mobility.

[00:01:51]And I said, "That's for me. That's for me." And I said, "I accept that."

[00:02:00]So I was watching it on the 29th and Terry said, "There's somebody with autoimmune disease."

[00:02:07]>> For others, I believe God is just strengthening immune systems right now.

[00:02:11]Many of you struggled with ongoing illnesses that you just can't seem to shake. Today is the day. Your immune system is completely made whole by the power of Jesus Christ. And I jumped up and I said, "That's my healing and I know it." Instant soon as I claimed it. Just a big relief off of me. I felt so weightless. I didn't feel heavy, burdened down. I just quit hurting. I told all my family, our family group text, I sent them the videos. So, we all praised the Lord together. It was amazing to feel like that too, to think I'm healed. You know, I'm healed. After I got the healing, I was fine. I was up able to go. I've been going strong ever since. I thank Jesus for it every day. And I know he healed me because he loved me and he loves everybody. And if they'll just believe that they can have the same healing, you just got to believe and have faith and claim that healing every day.

[00:03:19]Amen. Believe and have faith and claim that healing. As I was watching Christine's miraculous testimony, and we rejoice with you, Christine, for what God has done for you. Is there anything too big for our God? Ask yourself that question. Is there anything too big for the God who created the universe, the cosmos, for the God who created you, who's known you even before you were knit together in your mother's womb, who knows every hair on your head, who is sovereign over everything, who sits on the throne, who is seated at the right hand of the father, Jesus Christ. He's ruling and he's reigning over the entire world, the entire universe. And he reigns and rules over you and your life.

[00:04:12]So I just pray that after watching Christine's testimony that your faith is rising to believe for the impossible in your life. What do you need an answer to prayer for? Do you need healing in your body? Well, Jesus is the answer. Do you need financial breakthrough? Jesus is the answer. Are you praying and interceding for a lost loved one? Jesus has the answer. Jesus is the answer. He is everything we need and more. And it is our favorite time of the program where we just love to let the Holy Spirit lead us and guide us and intercede for you and me. And we're just going to allow him to move today believing that he will do the impossible in your life because he is the God of the impossible. Nothing is too big, nothing is too small, and I'm believing that he's going to break through in your life today. And before we get into prayer, we just want to continue to encourage you in your faith. This is another answer to prayer. This is Michella by email. She said, "I woke up this morning with the worst hip pain. As I was listening to the 700 Club, I heard Gordon pray for someone with pain in their right hip. I was so excited. I was crying. What a blessing. Thank you, Gordon. Thank you, 700 Club." Amen.

[00:05:24]>> Well, here's NaNE. She suffered from sleepless nights, shortness of breath.

[00:05:28]Then she called the CBN prayer line, which she says the hot line to heaven. I like that. I'll start using that one myself. Uh she received compassionate scriptural prayer. Soon she noticed her breathing was normal and for the first time in a long time, she slept through the night. She gives all glory to God and you can do that, too. We're going to join in prayer now. Join with us. The Bible says, "When two or more agree touching anything, it shall be done for them by my father in heaven." These are the words of Jesus. So Ashley and I are going to be your two or more. You reach out and touch and we'll join with you and God will do all the rest. Ashley, would you lead us?

[00:06:16]>> Yes. Heavenly Father, we just say thank you. You are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Jesus, we thank you for your life. We thank you for your sacrificial death, dying on the cross for our sins and the sins of this world.

[00:06:34]And we thank you for your resurrection and your ascension. And we believe that you are now seated at the right hand of the father and you're interceding for us. So Jesus, will you break through today? Will you break through depression and mental illness and anxiety? Will you break through pain, physical pain? Will you break through grief?

[00:06:57]Will you speak to people in dreams and visions? May your Holy Spirit touch people even right now in the name of Jesus. Lord, we thank you for what you're doing in their lives today.

[00:07:08]>> Uh there's someone you've got um a growth behind your right ear and it's just itchy and and you're concerned about it. God's going to just dry that up and it's going to fall right off.

[00:07:20]you're you're not going to have any problem with it. Um just receive it right now in Jesus' name. Someone else was with was circulation um issues with your feet, but it's a primary problem in your right foot. Uh God is healing you of that circulation. He's also restoring nerve. He's able to restore feeling.

[00:07:42]He's able to do this from the top of your head to the soles of your feet. May you be healed in Jesus name.

[00:07:50]>> Yeah, I believe there's a woman watching and you have got severe arthritis in your upper back. It's almost like the the bottom of your neck into your upper back near your shoulders and you you have um almost like a hump on your back as well. And I just believe God is literally shifting things around. The tension in your upper back, I believe, is releasing right now in the name of Jesus. You're going to be able to move your shoulders, move your neck, and move your upper back like you haven't been able to before. I believe you walk with a cane because of this. And you're kind of slumped over. I just believe God is literally fixing your spine right now.

[00:08:28]He's fixing your back. He's healing you completely. You're going to be able to walk upright in the name of Jesus. Just be healed and be made whole from the top of your head to the soles of your feet.

[00:08:40]Thank you, Jesus.

[00:08:42]um several digestive issues. One, there's a inflamed gallbladder with gall stones and uh it's causing enormous pain uh right right in the center of your chest. God is healing you of that. He's dissolving those stones and taking care of that infection. Someone else, you're having problems with acid reflux and and you have great pain in your esophagus.

[00:09:03]God is healing all of that and and going to restore everything to normal digestion. someone else. You've got some kind of internal uh hernia um where your um stomach and your esophagus uh join together. And I I don't know the medical term for it, but you know it.

[00:09:24]And and God's able to take that hernia.

[00:09:28]Reduce all of that away from you right now in Jesus name.

[00:09:32]>> Yeah. I believe someone's watching and you've got actually a pocket of fluid in your left lung. And I believe God is clearing that out for you in the name of Jesus. You will be healed from this in Jesus name. Just receive it right now.

[00:09:44]>> Lord, we thank you. You are the healer.

[00:09:47]You are the intercessor. You right now you're praying for every one of us. And this is just too wonderful to comprehend. Because of your great love, we're able to go boldly to the throne of grace. We thank you for the access that you've given us. How you've made the way for us.
