[00:03:12]Um because I do rational and irrational things and think things No, but for your best interest, for self-interest, what is the most what is the best for you? Is it better to think about your actions and think about the trade-offs and benefits and then perform them?

[00:03:28]Or is it better to just have the emotional response and then just perform actions in accordance with whatever emotions you feel? I guess it depends on the situation. Why why would it depend on the situation? When when would what would dictate the lack of rationality?

[00:03:41]What situation would dictate for you to give up your reasoning to uh respond to your emotions? Um what if like somebody hit my kid or somebody that I love.

Like if Like if you think about it Yeah, if you think about it, you process it like you're you with your eyes, you see somebody hit somebody that you care about. So it's in your self-interest to protect the person that you care about from that person. It's not >> to court. Yeah, no. No, they won't because they're In Nevada, we have self-defense. When When like given the fact that uh you know, for us to survive our ability to reason, ability to think is paramount for us to survive. Like we don't have like these natural attributes that other animals have that just allows them to survive naturally, you know? We have to think, we have to perform action with long-term projection.

So, they say instead Well, but there is a reasonable use. You don't consume so much. You only consume the drugs to get that little joy and euphoria. And once you see that the consumption is taking over you, do not continue. But, it requires restraint, control.

[00:15:42]But then when they started consuming cocaine in a distilled form, they specifically harvested the chemicals that give them that euphoria, they had a different effect. It's the same thing that you see with weed, where like, you know, cuz in the trees, the flowers, that's not the main thing that you're consuming.

[00:15:58]But when they distill it and all that stuff, it hyper focuses it, and it it's much more potent, and also it has much more effects over long-term consumption.

But that's not true. Life is an emotional roller coaster. Your emotions Your emotions are from the experiences that you live.

[00:22:18]Exactly. And what causes that change is not your emotions, it's reason. So what makes your behavior is reason. So to like to take those emotions and stuff, yeah, the emotions have a place. They help you figure out contradictions within yourself or times where you're feeling pain. Your emotions are also sensorial to your sense data, you know?

[00:22:37]But simultaneously that can't take primacy.

[00:22:40]You know, your reason is first and foremost to your self-interest and to your survival, you know? Mhm. And that's that's how like that's why the lack of reason, you know, is the only way that you can justifiably kill yourself. You know, the putting your emotions before your reason is the only way you could think that this this experience on earth is so bad that you want to leave it, you know?

It's like a proto-philosophy before like we accumulated enough knowledge to make like a good philosophical uh knowledge base, you know, and make like good uh philosophies. Uh-huh.

I reject it on the basis that, you know, this is outdated, says rudimentary concepts and stuff, and there's we have new innovation ideas and concepts that allows us to analyze the existence of this world, Uh-huh. but also not dictate the preemptive questions of, "What is my purpose? Somebody created this world. I have a purpose and stuff." where that's uh blatant contradiction, you know?
