🎒 Undercover Educator of Faith - St. Ursula Ledóchowska - May 29th追加:
May 29th, Saint Ursula Ledóchowska, the undercover nun.
At the start of the 20th century, the Russian Empire severely restricted Catholic religious orders, viewing them as anti-Russian. But this didn't stop Polish nun Ursula.
She traveled to St. Petersburg disguised as a regular school teacher. Inside the school walls, she secretly helped train young women for religious life.
When World War I broke out, Ursula was deported, but her orders survived. And today, the Grey Ursulines, named after the plain grey dresses the original novices wore to avoid detection, continue to educate people all over the world.
May 29th, Saint Ursula Ledóchowska, whose bravery changes lives to this day.
