Mitzvot are not obligations imposed by God but rather guidance to help individuals achieve their own potential; accepting Torah means committing to transcend biological limitations and pursue higher levels of shalom, celebration of life, and personal achievement, with all mitzvot serving as a guide to reach these elevated states of existence.

Be YOU | Short Shabuot Thought本站添加:
When I could tell you he gives us the mitzvah, he's not asking us to do anything for him.
He doesn't need anything from us.
If anything, all that he's asking from us is be you.
All I'm telling you in Torah is to do things that will help you.
I don't need them. I guarantee you, I've got everything. I'm God.
All I'm saying in the mitzvah to you is a charge to be you. Avoid these things, invest in these things. These things won't work out. I'm existence, I'm telling you they won't work out. These things will.
That's Torah.
So, it's a commitment to move beyond our biology when we accept Torah.
When we accept Torah, we say there's higher levels.
There's shalom that can be had. There's celebration of life that can be had.
There's my own achievement of life that can be had. And all Torah is is a guide to being able to get there.
