Your landlord can definitely increase rent every single year if your landlord choose not to. So legally your landlord can morally we can say maybe he should not. That's the challenge.

Now, the only thing the law provides is that if your landlord increases his rent and that rent is beyond um it's unreasonable. For instance, your landlord increase his rent from you are paying 500,000 every month. Your landlord increases from 500,000 to 3 million. The law sees that kind of increment as an unreasonable increment. So what does the law says?

The court is going to consider certain factors and one is the one of the factors the court to consider is the prevalent um rent in that environment. So if your landlord is increasing rent every year and you don't want to pack out the next line of action if dialogue is not working is you take him to court.
