The gas price is going to go up. So, the gas price is going to go up due to the again the holiday and the traffic. So, you may want to fill up your your tank. And there's a possibility it might be, who knows, maybe $5 a gallon. All right. So, I know, you know, California is seen six and other areas is seeing, you know, $5, but here in Florida, it's like $4.70.

[00:01:59]Thank you so much. Your support truly helps out. F-16 F-16 fighter jets were scrambled to intercept a civilian plane over Washington DC on Tuesday. This is not the first time. Uh sometime these pilots I mean I know they get the warning not to fly over certain areas but um again uh there's been a trending that some of these pilots they continue to you know be to defiant put it like that. So local residents and office workers heard a sonic boom as the war plane swooped to ensure the aircraft remained clear of restricted airspace at around 11:15 a.m. Wow. North American Aerospace Defense Command NORAD confirmed the civilian plane was escorted out of the airspace without further incident. Well, that sonic boom woke up a lot of people. Um, but uh yeah, that was uh very disturbing to hear Sonic Boom. I mean, those things are loud. The DC region is protected by one of the most tightly controlled airspace zones in the country known as the special flight rules area. It requires pilot to follow strict procedures and maintain constant communication with air traffic control to prevent unauthorized incursions within 30 nautical mile radius. In June 2023, six F-16s were scrambled after a civilian Sesna became unresponsive and later crashed. Wow. in Virginia with a sonic boom heard across the region.

[00:03:58]In such cases, fighter jets are often scrambled from Joint Base Andrews just outside Washington DC.

[00:04:21]Give me a second here. I want to find some more information about this news, but uh people reporting hearing sonic booms everywhere. Um they were really again these uh F-16 pilots, they were really sending a message to uh to the pilot to turn around.

[00:04:43]You're entering restriction zone. Once again, NORAD scramble F-16 fighter jets over Washington DC, creating a massive sonic boom after a private civilian aircraft violated restricted airspace.

[00:04:58]The military jets were authorized to travel at supersonic speeds to intercept a wayward unresponsive Cessna 560 Citation V Citation 5 business jet flying directly over the nation's capital. And again, you guys already know what happened in 2001. So stuff like that, again, we don't want to see stuff like that again.

[00:07:28]Memorial Day is quickly approaching and is set to be a big travel day. TripleA uh project that a total of 45 million Americans will travel at least 50 miles from home for Memorial Day between Thursday, May 21st and Monday, May 25th.

[00:07:49]Of the 45 million traveling this holiday, a record settling 39.1 million will travel by car, signaling a slight increase from last year.

[00:08:05]And here's another reason why a lot of people just don't want to go to the airport. So, uh there's been a lot of stuff going on with the airports and it it just with all the shutdown and so many stuff that's happening. It says here, even though gas prices are the highest they've been since the summer of 2022, driving is the most popular way to travel and makes up 87% of Memorial Day travelers. TripleA said with all these people hitting the the road certain times of day can help those traveling by car avoid bad traffic and peak congestions.

[00:09:04]So you have n iix A provider of transportation data and insight said that the heaviest congestion should be expected on Thursday and Friday between 300 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. as well as Monday afternoon.

[00:09:22]Now, bearing any unexpected event, Sunday should be the lightest day for traffic with minimal impact expected. On Thursday, the best time to travel by car is after 900 p.m., while traveling before 11:00 a.m. is the best on Friday, and Saturday before 10:00 a.m. is the best time to hit the road on Monday. The worst time to travel by car are between noon and 900 p.m. On Thursday, 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, and noon and 5:00 p. p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. That's very true. Um, I do Uber Eats and Door Dash when you know it's not busy and stuff with my other job.

[00:10:15]to like uh 6:00 or 7:00 p.m. it's like the worst. It's the worst. Especially here in Florida like US 19 is just bad. It's bad. And so many people is moving down to Florida. a lot of people. So, you got all these cars. I mean, bumper to bumper is just insane.

[00:10:35]So, the best time to travel, me, I wake up early, like four o'clock in the morning, and just start traveling. And it's beautiful. I like like, you know, the sun is not out yet, just go to the gas station and get yourself a cup of coffee and just drive, and it's beautiful, you know, and then when the sun comes up, it's just a beautiful feeling. But if you wake up around 9:00 in the morning and leave at 12, it just Yeah. Again, there's going to be traffic for those renting cars over Memorial Day weekend. Rental car company Hertz said that Thursday and Friday are expected to be the busiest pickup days with Orlando, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Denver, and Boston seeing the highest demand. Now, travel demand remains strong and despite higher fuel prices, many people are prioritizing lesser travel during holiday breaks.

[00:11:34]Stacy Barber, vice president of AAA, said in a statement.

[00:11:44]It says here, "A major US city, a major US cities will see different peak congestion time as well. In New York, the worst route for traveling by car is heading southbound to New Jer via the Garden State Parkway with Friday at 2:15 p.m. being the worst time to hit the road. That route has a startling travel time increase of 102% and would take an estimated two hours and 57 minutes. The worst route in Los Angeles is traveling via 110 east, excuse me, I 10 east to Palm Spring on Friday at 5:30 p.m. with a travel increase time increase of 88%.

[00:12:35]It's estimated to take drivers 4 hours and 21 minutes to get there. San Francisco to Napa via I80 East is another bad route with the worst time to travel being Friday at 6:15 p.m. The route has a travel time increase of 78% and will take an estimated 2 hours and 47 minutes. So, Memorial Day is going to be a headache for travelers. Uh, give me a second here.

[00:13:31]So, national average gas prices are projected to rise further as millions of Americans hit the road for the holiday weekend, fueled by intense geopolitical conflict, stalled diplomatic talks, and tight global oil supplies. Fuel prices are currently experiencing significant upward pressure. So, the national average currently sits at steep $453 per gallon, making this the most expensive Memorial weekend for drivers since 2022.
