[00:00:35]Holy smokes, guys. Three weeks ago, I was sitting at my office in Arc and an email came across. It was from a gentleman named Chad and he is the team lead of a Battlebots team inviting me to be part of their Battlebots team. I'm going to paraphrase this email, but essentially it said that some of the people on team watch the channel. They love what I do for the RC hobby and they would like to formally invite me to be part of their team to compete on Battlebots on national television in Las Vegas. Yeah, no way I could say no to that. I think this is a great opportunity to kind of see what it's like at a Battlebots, I guess they call it, battle or weekend. Um, I have talked to some friends that were actually part of Battlebot teams and they say it's just like an RC car race where there's pits, people working on stuff and that it's so much fun. So, I am super honored to be invited to be part of the Magnitude Battlebots team. Here's the kicker. I signed a lot of paperwork, a lot of paperwork with the actual Battlebots company. Obviously, they do a TV show. It's a It's a big TV show. I'm not sure what I can and can't shoot. So, I got to be really careful. Hopefully, I can get a hold of someone tomorrow whenever I get to the actual Battlebots Arena. But the team's understanding is I can shoot everything going up to the event and then I can't say anything about the event until after the event airs. But, nonetheless, we're here in Las Vegas to compete on a professional Battlebots team. Team magnitude. So, real quick recap of my adventure so far.

[00:02:20]Hopefully that holds up until I get home, but looks like they dropped it.

[00:02:24]Oh, so lame. Uh, here's my view. We're at the horseshoe. The view's not like stellar, but there's Bellagio right there. Oh, the window's kind of dirty, but Bellagio's on the other side of that building right there. So, I can literally just walk out there and be at the Bellagio fountains. The room itself, not bad. Here is a fun fact. I booked this room super early. I mean, when I say super early, like basically right when I heard I was coming out because I knew I wanted to book it at the Horseshoe because this is close to the Battlebots Arena and I wanted to be able to come in, take a nap, do some editing or whatever, and go back to the Battlebots Arena. But I booked it early.

[00:02:57]And whenever I went to go check in, the lady was super nice at the front desk and she goes, "You know, you could probably save a lot of money if you just go and book again online." I was like, "What?" She's like, "Seriously, go online." Apparently, there was like a 30% off special or something. I went and I booked my hotel online. Long story short is we did some magic and it was actually cheaper if I would have booked when I got here and I saved like 3 400 bucks. So strange. But I'm starving. I'm 2 hours behind. I'm way past my dinner time. I am hungry. We got to go find some food. All right, guys. I'd be lying to you if I told you I didn't sit at the tables for a little bit before before I decided to get some meat. I'm so freaking hungry. I was hungry before I started playing. I played for a couple hours. I didn't win, but I didn't lose too bad. So, still having a good time.

[00:03:44]But whenever I drove up, I saw that I I think we're right across the street or we're just walking distance to like this uh area where you can get like it's like a food court. Wonder if there's an easier way to get up there. Hold on a second. Oh, yeah. It's over here. I'll show you. Right there. Right between those pillars right there. There's like a food court. They got Dave's Hot Chicken over there. I thought about a really good sit down restaurant, but not going to lie, I don't want to eat too much. I've been doing really good on my diet, guys. I've lost like 15 20 lbs. Oh my god, someone's smoking some some happy stuff. I can smell it. This is actually pretty cool. Yeah, I've been here before. This Oh, that is still Wallburgers. Wallberers right there. Fat Tuesdays. We got a taco place. We got Dave's Hot Chicken. I have a Dave's Hot Chicken by my house, so we're not going to go there. Bellagio is right between those uh those two buildings right there. But let me see if I can find something kind of healthy. The weather is amazing, by the way. It feels freaking great out here. My guess it's like 76°.

[00:04:46]So, yeah. Let's see if I can find something healthy. All right, guys. I know I'm going to blow out my diet at some point on this trip, so I'm trying to be good to start. Uh I ordered a bunless burger and a salad. I'll blow out my diet whenever I meet up with everybody, but I think it's going to be pretty good. My head's cut off, but the uh the bartender, he was we were talking about my YouTube channel. Wallber is actually really good. Last time I was here, this place was jam-packed. Like when I say jam-packed, like you couldn't there was no way you were getting a seat. And for anyone to just get a fry or some like some fries or a burger like took forever. So, I'm so happy that this isn't packed. It's not packed. It's only It's Wednesday anyways. Perfect. Thank you, sir.

[00:05:44]I ate that burger and that salad, but I'm still hungry. There's a ice cream place over here. I could totally screw it up there. We're going to try to hold out a little bit. We're going to hit the strip real quick because uh it's lit up.

[00:05:56]you guys will be able to see it. Let's go see if they got the uh the fountains going. Be really cool. So, all right.

[00:06:03]Got some people staring me down. I guess it's throwing them off that I'm uh on camera in the middle of the uh strip here. What's pretty freaking crazy is, believe it or not, I've been to Vegas more than 10 times. I have never ever stayed at the strip ever. Every time I come to Vegas, I want to stay downtown at Fremont. I think it's more fun there.

[00:06:26]And then obviously I go to Silver State, so I'll stay at the at the casino that Silver State's at. And then also Nursa.

[00:06:33]I stay at the uh I stay at the Nura Casino. So I don't really go to the strip very often. Never stayed at the strip. This is the first time. And uh it's pretty cool. It's super expensive though. I'll tell you that much. I just ate that burger and a salad. It's freaking 40 bucks. So one cool thing about Vegas is you can just go over all the bridges. You don't ever have to cross the street. I was trying to get to that bridge over there and uh yeah, I went across this bridge over here. So, we're going to have to go all the way around, but this is kind of like the prime area of Vegas. That is the world famous Bellagio. But, all right, let's cross some streets and see if we can get over there. Here you go. Check this thing out. This thing's pretty famous right there. The Flamingo Hotel. They run the F1 cars right down this street.

[00:07:20]That's pretty cool. Caesars. We're going over Caesars. Then we're making our way over to Blaggio just so I can show you guys. That right there is a great show.

[00:07:29]I've actually seen it twice. I saw it once with Melissa and then once when Barry was in town and then Hell's Kitchen. I've eaten there before. That's really cool.

[00:07:39]Yeah, we're we're in the prime, guys. In the prime. So, other than the strip being a little more expensive than the other areas, the gaming is not that good down here either. Like the limits are really really high. Say really really high. The low limits here are like high limits at the casinos downtown. So it's a little bit better to game down there. There it is. The Bellagio Fountains. If you come out to Vegas, you really have to check it out. It's obviously a staple of Vegas. Paris is right there. You can see the Eiffel Tower right there.

[00:08:36]>> All right, guys. We are back at the airport already. Yeah, I didn't get to shoot anything. I mean, I take it back.

[00:08:43]So, let me explain how the whole battlebots thing works. Basically, everything that's shot inside the Battlebots Arena needs to get approved before I post it. It's not that I can't post it, it's that I have to edit the video, send it to them, and they have to approve it. There's a lot of yellow tape that goes around recording because it's like an actual production TV show. Yeah.

[00:09:01]There's not much I can do. So, I will say this, and I'm allowed to say this, it was it was an amazing experience.

[00:09:08]Maybe a once in a-lifetime experience.

[00:09:10]And the team that invited me out, they nailed it. It really is like an RC car race, but more team feeling obviously cuz there's a bunch of teams. And also the camaraderie is it's way above what you see at an RC track. Even though the camaraderie at an RC track is good, at one of these uh Battlebots events, it's even more. And it's kind of interesting because there's some situations where you'd want another bot to win. So, you see other teams like help that bot. It was really, really cool. I think of it as basically an RC car race with some of the smartest people that you're ever going to meet all in one spot. It was It was awesome. I I they insinuated that I was part of the team and that they're expecting me to be back. I haven't gotten the official in invitation, but I hope I can continue to be part of this team because man, it was absolutely amazing. Nonetheless, we're wrapping up here. I'm playing some slots. I got about about 30 minutes before I board.

[00:10:04]Uh I got upgraded. I got upgraded to first class which is nice. I guess there's a perk of flying a lot. So, I'll be able to get some sleep, rest, get edited. You guys probably missed a video or so because uh yeah, I've just been I mean Vegas, you're always on the go. So, wrapping up my time here and you guys will see me when I'm at home.
