Anders uses sophisticated terminology to frame atmospheric chaos as a predictable science, offering a sense of intellectual order over nature. It is a polished performance where technical expertise meets the simple unpredictability of a rainy day.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms; rain chances will increase again TuesdayAdded:
Jivon Anders Well, we are definitely seeing a very cloudy day across the area. I also have some showers that have popped up on radar, so we've been watching those as well. Uh it is a kind of a cloudy picture from our all B Rodriguez weather camera outside. So, hopefully you've enjoyed your Sunday. It's been very warm and mild. You've had a nice breeze blowing. But, now we're beginning to see a few showers popping up on radar.
They've been kind of moving through the area over the last couple of hours coming out of Mexico and starting to move their way into South Texas. We've already seen rain out to the west and now it's going to start making its way a little bit closer and across Bear County over the next hour hour and a half. So, this is all that daytime heating that is starting to fire up these showers. Could see a few heavy downpours. Nothing severe is expected after that sunset.
Over the next couple of hours we'll begin to see these storms starting to kind of die out. So, in the meantime, if you're going to be getting out and about, you're going to definitely run into a little bit of rain and some heavy downpours as we go through the next couple of hours. So, temperatures well, pretty mild because of the cloud cover really. 85° a little warmer down to the southwest because of breaks in the clouds. So, our temperatures this week, well, we're going to stay around 93 for tomorrow. Then, we start seeing temperatures diving down. Going to stay in the 80s from Wednesday all the way through your Saturday. A lot of this is because of the cloud cover. A lot of rain in the forecast for the next 7 days. So, here it is for you. Tomorrow not bad, partly cloudy skies and we're not expecting a whole lot of rain during the day. However, in the evening we will begin to see going into your Tuesday as we go into Tuesday evening, that is when we could see some severe weather roll across the area. We'll be seeing an approaching cold front come in. That's going to set us up for those showers and thunderstorms possible. And then, as we go through the rest of the work week, we have several upper level lows going to make their way across the area. It's going to continue to bring in showers and thunderstorms as we get into your Wednesday, your Thursday, then it again happens on your Friday, and then we also have rain extending all the way into next weekend and possibly again for Memorial Day. So, it's going to be about another 7 days of rain on and off. So, we need it. We're still in that drought, so we're going to have to take it.
Tuesday to Tuesday night going in is what we're expecting could see about a two out of five severity outlook for San Antonio and portions of the Hill Country, and then we see of course a lesser amount down towards the east and the coastal bend. So, here it is for you our rain chances ahead. As you can see, we've got lots of rain scheduled out all the way almost until next Wednesday. So, best day right now looking at Tuesday for some severe weather and heavy rain could see some hail, maybe some very damaging winds.
Also going to see with this kind of rain continuing, we could see the possibility of some localized flooding. So, at this point, this is what our prediction center is saying. We're looking at 2 to 4+ inches across South Texas and San Antonio as we get through the next 7 days. So, could see 4 to 5 in some areas. So, be ready for it. 78° tonight.
We are looking at those few showers will die down over the next couple of hours.
Tomorrow, your Monday starts out with clouds. It'll be another very breezy day. High of about 92° little warmer out in the west. So, extended forecast, here it is for you. We will keep you updated of course. Tuesday we'll be watching as a weather alert day again on Wednesday, and then we'll be watching as we go through the rest of the week. We'll let you know. Keep your app close hand and we'll let you know what's happening at all times.
