In diplomatic negotiations, successful agreements require mutual compromise on core issues; the US proposed conditions for an Iran deal including permanent abandonment of nuclear weapons, reopening the Strait of Hormuz, and destruction of enriched uranium stockpiles under international supervision, while Iran rejected these terms and maintained its own predetermined arrangements for reopening the strait, highlighting how fundamental disagreements on nuclear proliferation and regional security can impede diplomatic progress.

Trump to Make Final Decision on Whether to Strike Iran Peace Deal | WION Pulse追加:
US President Donald Trump has put up a lengthy social media post saying that a final determination is about to be made on the Iran deal in the situation room.
The meeting is a pre-planned one, but Trump's long post has raised eyebrows on whether there is a breakthrough expected in the talks soon.
In that post, Trump outlined key conditions including Iran permanently giving up any nuclear weapon ambitions, reopening the Strait of Hormuz to unrestricted shipping, and destroying its highly enriched uranium stockpiles under international supervision.
Trump also claimed the US would help remove and destroy the buried enriched nuclear material from the sites it hit during last year's B-2 bomber strikes alongside Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency.
He added that no money would change hands until further notice. In the post, he had also mentioned the lifting of the US naval blockades in the region allowing commercial ships stuck near the strait to begin returning home. The strait, remember, remains one of the world's most critical oil shipping routes, but though Trump sees this as a plan in progress, Iran's leadership seems to have struck a hardline tone.
Iran's Fars agency reported that the that Iran rejects Trump's comments about a possible agreement with Iran as a mixture of truth and falsehood. Reuters quoting an Iranian official has also said that a possible MOU between Tehran and Washington does not include any nuclear-related issues.
Iran has reportedly stressed that after the US blockade is lifted, it will reopen the Strait of Hormuz according to its own predetermined arrangements. The high-stakes diplomacy coming amid growing regional tensions. Now, all eyes are on the White House Situation Room where Trump says the final decision on a possible Iran deal could soon be made.
And our correspondent Susan Tehrani has been tracking those developments, sent us this report. Take a look.
>> With the world watching for any sign of a breakthrough in the US-Iran talks, President Trump may have provided the clearest indication yet of what a deal could look like from the US perspective.
In a lengthy social media post, Trump said that Iran must not obtain a nuclear weapon. The Strait of Hormuz should be reopened, and enriched nuclear material should be destroyed under international supervision. What makes this post significant is that it appears to outline terms that have already been discussed between the two sides. But Trump stopped short of announcing an all-out agreement, saying that he was heading into the Situation Room to make a final determination. That means that a decision on Iran could be imminent.
