Medical protocols mandate that post-mortem examinations and body stitching must be conducted inside designated mortuary rooms under the supervision of forensic doctors to maintain dignity and ensure proper procedure; conducting these procedures in open areas without supervision represents gross negligence and a serious violation of established medical standards.

Bhopal Shocker: Open-Air Post-Mortem Held Outside Hospital, Stitching Of Body Done On StretcherAdded:
Now viewers the system continues to fail at several levels in a shocking sequence of events and an open post mortem was conducted at Hami Hospital of Bhopal and according to reports the Bajaria police station received an unidentified body on Monday and as the body could not be identified a post mortem examination was conducted yesterday following the post mortem the body was brought out of the mortuary in a naked state and once outside the stitching in fact of the body was performed on a stretcher in an open room now while as per the protocol both the post mortem examination and the subsequent stitching of the body are required to be conducted inside the post mortem room but the entire procedure was carried out without any supervision of a doctor. In fact, it is another case of apathy that comes to light that an open post-mortem was conducted outside the post-mortem room in Bhopal. My colleague Satya Vijay also join me with more details on this.
Vijay also told us that this is completely against the protocol. Firstly, the procedure, whether it is stitching of the body or post-mortem, takes place inside the room under the supervision of doctors. But there was no dignity for the dead and this procedure was conducted entirely in the out, entirely in the open. Yes, definitely see, the incident that has come to light in Bhopal's Amdi Hospital, the pictures that have come out are very shameful and against the rules because post-mortem is done in the presence of forensic doctors in the mortuary. Here is the entire incident where the police finds an unidentified body in Bajaria police station area.
Who cannot be identified. When such a body is found and it is not identified, within the time limit given by the police, when it is felt that no one has claimed this [sangeet] dead body, then as per the procedure, its post-mortem is done. But when it came to post-mortem, gross negligence was seen there. There, after the post-mortem, the dead body was kept outside on a stretcher in a naked condition without any clothes and the stretches which were stitched on the body were given there itself and [nasal sound] after this video went viral, the negligence of Hameed Hospital, one of the biggest hospitals of Madhya Pradesh, is exposed because under any rule, such a tampering with the respect of any dead body cannot be done. But the pictures here show that the health system of Madhya Pradesh is on a stretcher and that is why the post-mortem of a dead body which could not even be identified is done but this incident exposes a shameful system by keeping all the rules aside.
Vijay Absolutely it's a clear case of brace and negligence. It is a clear case of public apathy that the administration has come out with no clarifications as to why the procedure was carried out without any supervision out in the open.
See, the rule is as I said earlier that forensic experts or doctors who conduct postmortems should be present during the incident whenever someone's postmortem is conducted.
But here the body is kept outside only after half the process is completed and as per the information we have till now, after the video of this incident surfaced, no action has been taken against the responsible doctor or administrative officer of Hameed Hospital.
After all, why a dead body which is unclaimed and which had to be cremated? The police got his post-mortem done. But why does such negligence come to light and why after this negligence, why no action has been taken against the responsible doctor, the forensic expert, the mortuary attendant, till now, this is the question that Republic Media Network is continuously raising. Yes absolutely
