[00:04:20]Sure. So, what tribe are you representing? And could you tell us a few things about your tribe and culture?

[00:04:25]I'm currently representing the Mateic tribe. Matei is not just a tribe but it is actually an indigenous predominant ethnic group of manipur. The matei community has contributed to global and Indian culture. The matei traditional sang mate is actually the origin of modern polo. And that's all. Thank you so much. Have a great day.

[00:05:33]>> Yes sir.

[00:05:34]>> Okay. So we have been asked to bring our own traditional food as you know. So according to you what is your uh most favorite or the food cultural food that you think is the most tastiest?

[00:05:45]If you ask me in particular, I would like to say fermented rain which al which is also iname aon uh I like a with smoke pork especially when my mom cooks it. Thank you so much.

[00:05:59]>> So what language do you speak at home and could you tell us a few words in your own language?

[00:06:04]>> Uh I speak mostly sum my family and some words I can say is which means what are you doing in so much?

[00:06:16]>> I'm from the police community.

[00:06:18]>> Okay. So, could you tell us a few things about your attire today?

[00:06:22]>> Sure. So, first of all, the head gear I'm wearing is called and then the adornment on top is called. And then the shirt I'm wearing today is called Bong.

[00:06:30]And then the lower garment that I'm wearing is called B. And the Bong and the B they are handwoven using organic pure cotton. And then lastly, I'm wearing this shaw called cyro. This is the main pattern and design for the cookie community and this is one during daily and occasional wear. Thank you.

[00:06:50]>> And the question for you is what do you think is the significance of celebrating a day like cultural day?

[00:06:56]>> Uh for me I think the importance of cultural day is uh celebrating and appreciating the values the traditions and the diversity in this tradition in a state like Nagalin where there's many tribes. I think celebrating a day like cultural day is very significant. Uh overall it helps us future generations to know about the traditions that our forefathers have built in this land.

So, what do you think about the activities that are being done here today? It's uh really interesting and it helps us learn more about our culture. Do you think we can include any other activities for cultural day? The school could introduce more traditional games like rockside or walking up. Even folk dancing could be introduced. [00:10:19]So, how was your experience in bamboo climbing?

[00:10:21]It was fun, challenging, but also really difficult because of the oil. And I think it's a game that requires a lot of strength, teamwork, and muscle, I guess.

[00:10:31]>> Do you think you would have won if there was no oil?

[00:10:34]>> Yeah, definitely.

[00:10:36]>> Which one was easier, bamboo climbing or tug of war?

[00:10:40]>> Uh, for me, definitely tug of war because uh of the sheer amount of oil that was on the bamboo, it's really difficult to climb. Even if we took a big leap, it's very hard to get the oil out of the bamboo and like uh it was really hard. But for a taco, it's been we've been playing it for a long time.
