Couture Uncut | Episode Nineteen | Gifted At Selfridges. Sold out at Sample Sale.追加:
So we're at New Century Hall today for our annual sample sale in chaos as always.
>> You ready for today pal?
>> We're doing a gift and suite in collaboration with South Jersey.
>> Hey every just a little bit upset. I thought shambles wanted it well earlier in that >> this time last year we had boxes everywhere out. Yeah, the atmosphere has been great so far. Everyone's having a good time. Now we've had to stop let people at the door sweating and hot and the team's doing an amazing job.
>> Happy with that. The more and more we speak to the community, the more and more they want an insight into the brand. And I think it's just super important that we show that in the most honest way we can.
>> Morning, Henry. You ready for today, pal?
>> I am indeed.
>> Big cues already. Yeah.
>> Uh-huh.
>> Earliest this morning was half 4 in the morning.
>> Half four. Shamble. Wanted it well earlier than that. Pathetic. You lot.
You're getting weak. Sample sales one on its own. um because work that goes into it, the amount of stock that you take, etc., etc. So, that's always very rewarding. It actually reminds me of when we used to do nightclub events and you'd always worry how many people would turn up to the event. I think that's the biggest stress in that is how many tickets you're going to sell and not look. You always have this worry that no one's going to turn up, but it was phenomenal. Again, >> we we wanted to improve by adding that um obviously all the people that bought the tickets first got the Q jump. So, in theory, a lot of them people um haven't needed to to come because they know that they're going to come in first. But it's um yeah, it makes me nervous. I just hate let people down.
>> [ __ ] hell. Talk about um >> step up from last year on an organization standpoint. I know >> this time last year we had boxes everywhere out.
>> We sort by 3:00 and what cuz you muscles out. I bet you best on you trouble at New Century Hall today for our annual sample sale. Um been chaos as always.
Obviously some queued up last night.
Obviously this year we tried to improve it where we had early access. So it was like a huge jump up ticket. Obviously they all flew in and so far it's been amazing. Just manic feedback's been great. Love meeting the customers, chatting to them all. Obviously them, you know, asking anything they want to do as well. But at the same time them seeing so many of the samples and being able to buy into the brand. Some unreleased product, some old product, some new product. um some stuff that never made it. Um but yeah, the atmosphere has been great so far.
Everyone's having a good time. The queue for the tills is pretty big now. We've had to stop letting people in the door, which I think I'm going to go down speed and try and let some more people in.
Just managing being able to replen the area at the same time just so that everyone gets a fair opportunity to get what they want. But [ __ ] it's panic.
I'm sweating. I'm hot. Well, the team's doing an amazing job. Uh, better than it's ever been before. Q's run better than everything before. Till's run better than before. And feel like everyone's having a great time. So, all good.
So, we shut in 15 minutes and it's still busy. So, it looks like we're probably going to have to keep this one running a little bit.
Um, yeah, another phenomenal day. Credit to the team, man, because they pulled everything off, you know, they making sure the tills, everything's been working perfectly.
So yeah, this is another phenomenal event. M let met so many people today.
Chat so my voice is going and super successful.
See you next time.
So we're at South Jersey today. Um we're doing a gifting suite in collaboration with South Jersey. We've got over 40 cruisers coming over the two days and we're just setting up. We've been here since half 7 and it's going really well.
It's starting to come together >> with Salvages right from the start. It was it was amazing working with them anyway. And I think you know they supported us and you know let us do what we wanted to do with our space and things like that. And I think for us it's about building on that relationship and I think one thing that both parties wanted to do is a few more activations together. How can we, you know, incorporate your brand and incorporate our brand and actually have this kind of like cohesive strategy where we can benefit each other? And the gifting suite was, you know, one of them where it was a mixture of, you know, stylists, footballers, you know, some content creators, some talent, some of Selfish's normal customers, some of our normal customers. You know, it was a real big blend and we split the days out as it as it planned. And it was just a really good event because not only were you almost seeing product that was on pre-release, you we were getting live feedback from all sorts of different people, you know, from Salvage's customers, from ours. And it was, you know, just a really good opportunity to talk through the range, the team's own through the future collections, getting used to having that in person like presenting in a way, but also getting live feedback from, you know, some of the people you really respect their opinion on it and the, you know, comments and vice versa.
>> You know, you can't be everywhere all the time. And I think that's one thing that I've probably struggled with massively over the last 18 months is kind of feeling like I'm just running on overdrive and being at every different thing and and part of every different kind of activation meeting, whatever it is. And I think for me, you know, the team leading and kind of managing the whole process, you know, don't get wrong, everything gets signed off along the way, but leading and executing a project without me and Scott being involved is is massively important. And I think that's that allows the business to grow because multiple teams can be doing different things. You know, you guys might be selfish, we other team might be on a shoot. It's almost like we're actually in a position where we are growing rather than kind of everyone needing to be involved in every different thing cuz you're never going to be able to get to where you need to get to if you're all focused on just doing the same things. I've got to >> I think the main thing for me with you know with whatever partner we're working with us especially selfages is the spaces that we create the environments that we create in there how the you know when you see our area you you understand you know it's couture club it has a different feel it's you know we're not just another brand on hangers um I think that was why curating the spaces is so important for me and you know from their side it looks great as well but it just gives us a real and you know handwriting wherever the brand shows up.
>> Yeah, got a busy month ahead.
