Former PM Gordon Brown calls for Prince Andrew to be reinterviewed & makes some serious points!!

[00:00:00]So, it looks like there's been a new development in the Prince Andrew debacle.

[00:00:08]And a former UK Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, has written an article in a political magazine called the New Statesman.

[00:00:20]And I think it represents a significant escalation in the public pressure that is surrounding the Andrew investigation, and I think it deserves our full attention.

[00:00:34]Now, Gordon Brown is not a fringe commentator. He's He is a former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

[00:00:43]And he served as Chancellor of the Exchequer for a decade before that. He was actually good as Chancellor.

[00:00:52]But unfortunately, he was eyeing his boss's job, and then he finally got it, and he wasn't that great at it. But Gordon Brown I have a lot of time for, >> [snorts] >> um, and I have a lot of respect for because he was a good Chancellor.

[00:01:06]So, he [snorts] is a very serious political figure.

[00:01:11]And if he intervenes in any public debate, it carries a lot of institutional weight. Because a lot of commentators, I mean, like myself, >> [laughter] >> we're just, you know, mouthing off.

[00:01:26]We're just Joe and Joanna Public. But Gordon Brown is a very serious and very credible person. He I know we've had we have another former Prime Minister, Boris Johnson. Yeah, I know. I know. I know. I know. But Gordon Brown is in a different uh, he's in a different class, I would say.

[00:01:48]So, Gordon Brown has now called explicitly for the police to re-interview Prince Andrew.

[00:02:00]Not only about the fact that he potentially passed on a very confidential state secret to his friend, Jeffrey Epstein, but he wants the police to interview Andrew about the women.

[00:02:16]I know, right? Also, about the fact that these women were brought to him at Sandringham, Buckingham Palace, Windsor, and all other locations where Epstein may have trafficked these women to. Yes.

[00:02:36]So, imagine sitting on all that information, and yet the police are telling us that they are investigating, um, possible misconduct in public office.

[00:02:48]That word misconduct is a catchall.

[00:02:54]Because I know for sure it doesn't include the trafficking thing with Jeffrey Epstein.

[00:03:00]But anyway, um, at the end of the day, I love the fact that Gordon Brown is naming these specific locations.

[00:03:11]Because these locations are not just any old locations. They are central to the British monarchy. They are the most central addresses for the monarchy.

[00:03:26]And [snorts] a former Prime Minister is now putting them on record.

[00:03:31]And putting them on blast in a national publication in connection to the allegations of trafficking.

[00:03:41]Gordon Brown also raises something that had not been reported prominently, and this is why it caught my attention. He highlights that during Andrew's time as UK trade envoy, he consistently traveled to destinations earlier than he was required to. So, for example, if the conference if conference or whatever you're attending, if it's on the 14th, and you are going there a week before, why?

[00:04:18]Cuz for me, when I go to my speaking gigs, um, sometimes you go there the night before, sometimes the day before, sometimes maybe a couple of days before.

[00:04:28]Or after the conference, you you might choose to stay a couple of days extra on your own dime. Well, if you're lucky, you can negotiate with the organizers, and they might give you really preferential room room rates, because that's happened before where, okay, since you're a guest, you know, we can allow you to pay a certain amount extra instead of the full amount, but it's on your own dime usually. So, if he was traveling to the destinations earlier than required, right?

[00:05:04]To allow him to maybe party over a weekend, then Gordon Brown says this potentially cost the taxpayer huge sums of money.

[00:05:17]And he raises concerns about whether Andrew helped his friend, Jeffrey Epstein, >> [clears throat] >> obtain permission to use RAF bases, Marham and Horsham. Yes.

[00:05:32]RAF bases were potentially used by the Lolita Express private jet to maybe traffic women.

[00:05:45]Curiouser and curiouser.

[00:05:48]Interesting. Interesting. You see, the more you dive into this, the more you see what that family have been covering up. And they are trying to tell me that Harry and Meghan deserves worse than Andrew when they're not even in the same continent in terms of behavior.

[00:06:15]They're not even in the same I mean, I would have said the same postcode, but now I would even say same continent. I mean, they're as far apart as Yeah.

[00:06:28]So, this was what Andrew was up to. So, if Andrew helped Epstein get permission to use RAF bases, governmental security bases, whoa, that's a big one. And, >> [clears throat] >> as you can imagine, none of the papers are touching this. Not a single one of them touching this.

[00:06:51]I'm glad I am.

[00:06:52]And I'm hoping that SEO does its thing and pushes the video up so people can see it.

[00:07:00]So, the involvement of RAF infrastructure in connection with Epstein's operation in the UK is a specific and very serious allegation. Because it connects directly to the BBC investigation that documented the scale of Epstein's London operation and the Metropolitan Police's documented failure to investigate it properly after Virginia Giuffre made several complaints.

[00:07:33]Hmm.

[00:07:34]Gordon Brown is also calling for a parliamentary select committee to examine the public funds that may have been used, and whether a cover-up took place that prevented Andrew from being interviewed by US investigators. I already think a cover-up took place. I already think that Andrew was protected.

[00:07:59]That is glaring. You can see.

[00:08:01]Because the US investigators requested, and from [clears throat] what I understand, the foreign, um, I think the Foreign Secretary then, Priti Patel, she blocked.

[00:08:15]She blocked. So, she would need to appear before the select committee herself, in my opinion.

[00:08:24]>> [snorts] >> So, this is not a call for more journalism or more civil society pressure. It is a call for a formal parliamentary accountability mechanism to be deployed. So, basically, Gordon Brown is saying, you lawmakers, you need to get your finger out, and you need to organize a committee and investigate this properly. That's what he's saying.

[00:08:50]Gordon Brown also did something very clever. See, I knew there was a reason I like this man. He invoked the King's own words directly. He said that the King said that no one should be above the law.

[00:09:06]So, and because the King said that in public as a statement of institutional principle, Gordon Brown is now asking whether that principle applies to Prince Andrew.

[00:09:22]Whether the investigation being conducted by the Thames Valley Police is sufficiently broad.

[00:09:29]Whether the focus on misconduct in public office around document sharing is adequate given the more serious allegations of trafficking and sexual abuse on British soil. So, Gordon Brown is saying, miss me with the The so-called misconduct in public office is a It's just a smoke screen.

[00:09:56]Get to the meat of what happened. Get to the to the depth of it. Which is use of RAF bases, which is using public funding to go ahead of a conference or envoy or whatever meeting you're having in another country to party for a number of days before you do your job.

[00:10:22]Interesting.

[00:10:23]So, the American lawyer Brad Edwards, who represents Epstein's victims, says that some of his clients were abused in the UK.

[00:10:34]So, Gordon Brown notes that evidence could be assembled from drivers, airline, airport staff, ticketing agents, and credit card companies, from estate agents, banks, border officials, and royal protection officers.

[00:10:53]Yes.

[00:10:54]Royal protection officers. Hmm.

[00:10:57]>> [snorts] >> These are the people who were present at Sandringham, at Buckingham Palace, and at Windsor.

[00:11:04]These are people who would know what happened in those buildings and who was brought there.

[00:11:10]And Gordon Brown is saying that their testimony should be secured.

[00:11:15]So, yeah, interesting, but unfortunately, the British press is not reporting this, and unfortunately, I suspect is going to be one of my least watched videos unless people can really really share because we need to spread this because yeah, it's not Uh you know, I feel it would have been better if they decided not to investigate Andrew at all. It would have been better because a partial investigation of like 5%, you know, if you're partially if you're only investigating 5% of what this guy may have done, what's the point?
