Back to Big Glace Bay Beach || CAPE BRETON ISLAND

[00:00:15]So, this weekend I went back to Big Glaze Bay Beach. It's been 3 years since I was here. The last time I was here was summer of 2023.

[00:00:36]Oh, you're not even allowed to metal detect here, huh?

[00:01:17]You used to be able to drive your vehicle all the way to the beach.

[00:01:29]But now they've made some changes here and you can't do that anymore. I'm not upset about it, but um I know some people are because for an eternity they used to be able to go right up to the beach. A lot of people used to get stuck in the sand. Well, that's not going to be a problem anymore. They made improvements to the road and they put these ballards up to prevent cars from going over into the water, which is good.

[00:02:26]It is starting to rain.

[00:02:33]I literally put my foot on the beach and it started to rain and they're big gumdrop raindrops.

[00:02:48]I think the last time I was here was about 3 years ago and it was summertime. It was full of people.
