In Python programming, break exits the loop entirely, continue skips to the next iteration while maintaining the loop, and pass is a null operation that does nothing. These three statements control loop behavior differently: break terminates the loop completely, continue moves to the next iteration without executing the remaining code in the current iteration, and pass serves as a placeholder when no code is needed.
