This video demonstrates a complete single-pilot flight operation in an Embraer Phenom 300E, covering pre-flight preparation including system tests, CPDLC communication, and flight plan submission; engine start procedures with N1/N2 monitoring; taxi clearance and takeoff briefing with V1/V2 decision points; climb operations with altitude assignments and traffic monitoring; cruise operations with weather assessment and diversion planning; descent procedures with approach setup; and final approach including visual approach execution and landing. The pilot highlights the transition from crew to single-pilot operations, emphasizing the increased workload and responsibility while maintaining safety through systematic checklist completion and continuous situational awareness.

Any problem before V1, we're going to have board. That means throttles are going idle. Full brakes will keep directional control. Anything after V1, we're going to take it up in the air. And that means once we have a positive brake, gears going to go up. Uh, and we're going to pitch for V2 all the way up to 1500. At 1500, we'll pitch for FS. Then we'll clean up flaps and we will uh continue on to uh run some checklist, decide what we're going to do, and potentially come back. We've got enough. >> Miami American 2131 flight level 350.
>> I'll tell you it's weird going back to flying single pilot. The last two and a half, three weeks I've been flying as a crew and uh it's interesting that um you know now I'm going back to calling everything and doing everything. Uh, I thought I'd actually really dislike flying as a crew, but I I enjoyed it more than I thought.
>> It was nice to be able to communicate and work through problems and uh share some of the responsibilities. It just relieves some of that stress. I don't mind this. I like this. I do. But I'm looking forward to some uh crew flying.
>> Well, we've been watching this for a little bit.
>> This is where we're headed. Uh it's been clear. This hasn't been moving in our direction, in the direction of the airport. Um, but we just got to keep our eye on it.
>> There's a few places we can divert.
Obviously, we wouldn't want to divert uh further into it. So, we probably divert somewhere into Panama. There's a airport uh right around here called Rio. So, we can get into there if we need to.
Um >> and if we really need to, we can also go all the way to the other side of Panama.
It's an area called David >> and that would work really well for me as well.
>> 723 is looking 30 miles northwest.
Uh 224 maintain 8,000.

>> We have the keys just off the left wing and it's just a beautiful beautiful view.
>> So stick around and uh we'll be back with you on the descent.
>> Hey, welcome back to the cockpit.
We're currently uh about to break 33,000 on the way down at the Panama.
>> Uh it was a mostly smooth flight. A little bit of bumps here and there.
Nothing too worrisome.
>> Uh they gave us a very late descent, so we're descending about 2500 ft per minute.
Weather in Panama is 3204 knots.
We have our approach runway 01 set up.
And we're ready to come on home.
28,000 ft.
And I'm looking at this weather. It looks like it'll be uh clear as we get back into the airport. As expected, we're headed direct to Boga and they'll give us radar vectors once we get in the area to come back around. They'll probably give us a a late visual like they usually do.
direct.
>> We'll get seat belts back on even though we don't have anybody here.
>> And next is the approach checklist.
>> I haven't been home in 3 weeks. I can't wait to get back there.
I'm looking forward to seeing the beautiful view over Panama. Coming in on that approach, please tango 77 tango.

>> What we'll do is we'll just get our fuel synced again and reload the landing data.
>> Reload the weight. The weather, we know what it is. It's 320 at four is what she said.
Okay. All that looks good. We'll be landing flaps three.

Here they have me headed straight for the airport. Then they do they put me really close parallel basically a very close downwind. Then they turn me in after the final. It seems like she gave this thought from all the way back there when she gave me a heading of 185. And this is already a much better setup than usual. So so far kuda to her.
