Ls Swap Monte Carlo SS The Shop Owner That Don’t Care Gets the Most Praise 🎯本站添加:
[ __ ] off to me. I want to see that [ __ ] done better than anybody else. I want to see the [ __ ] get done so bad I leave my own [ __ ] co sitting. Both of them. Neither one of my cars run right now. This [ __ ] don't run. My other coat don't run cuz I took the Harley off that car, but then I'm in my shop wiring up the Harley on Mr. Wine Co. This somebody that's genuinely putting the customer co before his own co. How many guys you see with shops do that? Not many. Them dudes don't give a [ __ ] about your car. The [ __ ] in the shop, huh? You pay him. You know what you doing, huh? You funding his [ __ ] bill. And he going to put his bill first. He going to make sure his car get to all the car shows. He going to make sure his car get to all events on Sunday. He damn sure ain't coming work on your [ __ ] on Sunday. You see him? He on the internet on Sunday showing his [ __ ] off while your [ __ ] sitting in the shop in pieces. That's not the way how I do it over here, man.
So when you come over here to Mr. Miyagi, let me do what I do. Like I told y'all, I'm not running no race to try to build no car. I'm >> That's right. That's right.
>> LS or LT, he going to make it pop.
That's right. Down in Fort Worth, wrenching around the clock. That's right. Willing rebuild it. Call him Mr. Miyagi. Tools in his hand. Moving fast like a Kawasaki. Swap so clean. Lead the block and shock. That's right. Torque so mean. Make the payment talk. That's right. If you need it done right, bring it to the OG. Willie got the keys to the muscle car trophy.
>> That's right. That's right. That's right. That's right. That's right.
That's right. That's right. That's right. That's right. That's right.
That's right. That's right.
>> What's up, gang? It's Willie Rebuild back with another one, baby. That's right. Back in the shop on this good old Sunday morning, baby. Trying to get the job done. If you're not already subscribed to the channel, Dwayne, hit the subscribe button, hit the like button, share it, share the video, and hype the video, baby. That's right. Um, we gonna be messing with the Monte Carlo a little bit. We should get it started in this video, gang. We should get the Monte Carlo started in this video. Um, not today, but over the next day or two, um, which is going to be this entire video. We going to get the Mighty Ko running, gang. Um, let me turn the camera around and show y'all what I done did once I turned the camera off in the last video. Um, so I went ahead and loomed all the wiring up.
Y'all ain't going to be able to see, but I loomed all the wiring up. Went ahead and cut the uh vent line for the fuel tank.
Um, also I went ahead and put the radiator and fans in. um for a little mockup. Um this your Cutless fan shroud right there, Mr. Wine. As you can see, looking like a pretty factory situation.
I also went ahead and painted his veil covers up red for him like he want them.
Um I may have to buy another block off cap.
This a block off cap that I had already laying in the shop, but I misplaced the screws and the screws are kind of too short. Um, so either I'm going have to get some more screws for it or get another cap with the screws. But that oil pressure sensor, that's his sensor for his autometer dash. Um, this is temp sensor for his auto meter dash. I'mma have to get a adapter.
um to screw the temp sensor in the passenger side of the head. Uh I also went ahead and ran uh some of his wires for his fans.
Well, his fan controller. Um also ran his AC wires for uh his AC for the add-on to go to the Harley. Um what else we got here, gang?
Ran all that inside the car.
Um, as you can see, um, I seen the screw you was talking about, Mr. Wine, right here.
Don't worry about that. I'mma get that out for you. Um, you might need to I might need to just put a little pressure on the screw to get it to screw out so I could screw your glove box back in. Um, I'mma need to take that radio out so I can set up my um dec uh not my decoder. Well, you know what?
I might not need to mess with the radio on here. Uh, I probably could pick up the AC recognition wire under the glove box because he not running the Dakota dash. So, he don't have a box uh for the Dakota. And also, he won't need the uh Well, I might have to take that dash out cuz I'm going to have to hook up the tag wire. I'mma figure something out for it, gang. Um what else we got here, gang? Uh, I got to pick up some um I got a few things to pick up from Summit. I need to get him some header bolts. I got the gaskets um I don't have the header bolts for it. I need to get his adapters um for his steering box to convert that over to a inline.
Um, it's a few things I got to pick up from Summit. I need to get his uh mufflers, Xpipe, um, and a few other knickknacks so I can start it. But I got all that stuff in my car at Summit. I'mma go pick that up later today. Um, but before I go run and pick that up, I got this Cadillac sitting here. I need to go ahead and um pull his intake off so I could change the spark plugs for the guy. Um did a full brake job on this thing yesterday.
Brakes, new new brakes and rotors on it.
And um I need to get it ready by about I need to get it ready by 12:30, 1:00. It's 9:26 right now. You see the day on there, baby? Sunday. Um, as y'all can see, I'm the only [ __ ] back here on a Sunday. And I'm going to tell you why. The reason I'm the only one back here on a Sunday because all the other businesses are closed. Um, it don't pay uh to work on the weekend if you're not getting paid time and a half or double time. When you got a small business, you're not getting paid extra cuz you come to work on the weekend. You're not getting paid extra cuz you stay in this [ __ ] till 11, 12, 1, 2 in the morning. You're not going to get paid extra for that. So when you got a guy like my boy right here that don't understand that a guy is putting in extra hours for you going over and beyond. You know when you start saying certain little things just because the guy not responding to it don't mean that it's not offensive brother. You see what I'm saying? I don't get paid extra to be here right now, today, Sunday.
I'm not getting paid no extra than what I gave you the price for in the beginning. And that's for every car in my shop. I'm not charging a customer extra because I'm coming here on a Sunday. What I'm doing by coming here on a st a Sunday is trying to stay on top of things. That's it. I'm I'm trying to stay ahead of the situation to where your co not sitting in my shop for a whole year. You see, like you see a lot of these guys on Facebook crying and talking about how they call be been in the shop two years. Anybody been watching my channel, you ain't never seen a [ __ ] call sit in this shop over a few months. Go look at the [ __ ] videos. They all time stamp. And I'm just one man. I'm not a whole crew like a lot of these shops got. They got a whole crew and still take two years to finish a [ __ ] car. That's not going on over here. You may see some cars stay here longer than others because that mean your car need more done than others. You see what I'm saying, gang?
So keep that in mind. When your car come over here to me, only one [ __ ] touching your car from start to finish.
Unless I need somebody to help me push that [ __ ] out the door. And half of the time I push them [ __ ] around by myself in and out of the shop if they don't run. So when you go to saying little things and I'm not really saying too much, you know, you poking the belt, that [ __ ] start to tally up like, damn, do this guy not see what the [ __ ] going on? Do you not see me working on your [ __ ] Huh?
Do you not see me in my shop on Sundays?
Do you not call my phone and hear me, "Hey man, I'm under a coat."
That's somebody that's trying to get your [ __ ] done. That's not somebody that got your money, got comfortable and and and bullshitting around. It don't work like that over here, gang. When you drop your [ __ ] off to me, I want to see that [ __ ] done better than anybody else. I want to see the [ __ ] get done so bad I leave my own [ __ ] co sitting. Both of them. Neither one of my cars run right now. This [ __ ] don't run. My other coat don't run cuz I took the Harley off that car. But then I'm in my shop wiring up the Harley on Mr. Wine Co. This somebody that's genuinely putting a customer call before his own co. He going to make sure it's called get to all events on Sunday.
I'm not I'm not about to do none of that [ __ ] This not TV. This real [ __ ] life here. You see this?
Not the [ __ ] uh reality show where you see them bill a call in two weeks and then push the [ __ ] across Barry Jackson. You heard what I said? Push the [ __ ] You know why they pushing it? Cuz the [ __ ] don't even run. It's just to show it off for TV. But a lot of people think that's real life. It's not. Man, let me go ahead and do what I got to do to this Cadillac. And um I'mma head to Summit and get the parts for Mr. Wine Car so we can go ahead and put fire in the hole. We gonna knock Mr. Wine Car out of here. And then we going to go back to Mr. Cal and we going to jump back and forth on Mr. Derek Car. Um because Mr. Derek Car is about 80% done.
The only thing I need to do with Mr. Derry car is wel the floor pan in. And on the passenger side on the passenger side and Mr. Derek, he told me, "Don't worry about cutting the floor pan."
He want me to just fix it with fiberglass, the little pin holes, which is not a big deal. I'mma wire wheel this whole floor up real good. Um, I'mma treat all the metal with the rust mud.
And in this back floor pan, I'mma put about three seats of fiberglass over it.
And I'mma coat it. I'mma coat it on the inside and outside.
And um it should be pretty good. It's just a couple of pin holes. Uh with this spot here being the biggest of the pin holes. Um that spot right there.
I might try to cut that little spot out and weld it and then put fiberglass on the pin holes. We'll see. um if I got some extra metal laying around to weld that spot in to put a patch in there.
But if not, I'll just fix it with the fiberglass like he told me while you will all this down, treat it with rust mud, find a leak over there. Um I'mma take your door panels out, Mr. Derek, in your dash and drop it off at the upholstery shop tomorrow. That way when I finish dealing with this flow, when I finish dealing with this flow, um, my upholstery man should be caught up on what he was doing cuz it look like I'm playing around, but I see what's going on that the customer can't see. My upholstery man got a [ __ ] Chevel over there. He doing and he got a 68 Camaro over there doing the whole cause. He not going to stop to do that.
Just cuz I brought him the interior, he going to leave that [ __ ] on the side. He going to [ __ ] with that [ __ ] cuz it's going to pay him more money.
So, I got to respect that. So, I know I got a week or two to mess around. Now, I might go over there and he might have them seats already done, but I doubt it.
So, I'm going to bring him the dash and the door panels tomorrow and we going to get the interior knocked out. In fact, I'mma bring him a piece of that carpet back there so he can make I can make sure he got all that [ __ ] mashed up. But let me knock this Cadillac out, gang, because I'm kind of on a time schedule cuz this guy got to be to work at 3:00.
So, let me get this intake off. Um, so I can go ahead and change the spark plugs.
And like I was telling my guy, let me see.
Nah, this one here. this motor here. Um, I might be able to get the call packs out because this intake may kind of different from the older Cadillac. I might be able to get them I might be able to get them um call packs out without pulling the intake on this year.
The older Cadillac, this intake used to come over in the back and cover up the back spark plug. But I'm going to have to get this out the way for sure. So, let me get that out the way and um get these plugs changed so my boy can get to work, baby. I'mma turn y'all back on in a minute.
All right, gang. We back. Um, I done went ahead and replaced these three plugs on this side. Um, I thought I was going to have to pull the intake, but I was able to slide the call pack past the sensor. Got these three plugs out.
That go all six of the old ones right there on the floor. Um, that'll save the customer some money that I don't have to pull his intake up and um, for the [ __ ] that's going to jump in the comments and think I'mma charge the man a regular price. He watched the videos so he going to see exactly what's going on. Um, that is not a situation. Well, I'm trying to rip him off. And, um, you see the time right here. Today, Sunday, gang. 9:53. I'mma have this [ __ ] wrapped up in the next 10 minutes. Call him up. He can come get his car. He can even go back home and take a nap. He can go back home and take him a nap uh before he go to work. And it's not a situation um like I ran into with the with the [ __ ] barber um where I where I checked this [ __ ] schedule on a Monday and you booked up to next week.
When Since when the [ __ ] barber got more important than a [ __ ] mechanic, huh? I ain't never had a [ __ ] customer come over here on a [ __ ] Monday and I tell him to come back next week. Most jobs like this, huh? When you call me today, I tell you, man, bring that [ __ ] over here tomorrow. If you drop it off in the morning, I'mma have the [ __ ] done for you uh before 5:00. And I ain't just talking about no punk ass spark plug jobs. I do that with transmission jobs and [ __ ] too. Come back later on the day, I'mma have it done. That's right, gang. And it ain't no situation um where I'm pouring lucas in the [ __ ] I'm taking the transmission out. New transmission, new converter. Four, five hours. Come pick the [ __ ] up. It's done. And if you think I'm bullshitting, they got people sitting right here that's watching this video that are verified. I done changed their motors. Not just transmission, motor, whole motor. Frontwheel drive.
Five, six hours. Drop it off at 8:30.
Pick the [ __ ] up at 5. It's done with no lights on the dash. Oh, it's getting to be a sad situation out here, gang. Everybody done got important now. Even the doofine. Doing important now. You can't get the doine to cut your grass for no five and $10. That [ __ ] want $100. He got a cell phone now. See, they important. But let me go ahead and get this [ __ ] wrapped up, gang. And um I'mma turn y'all back on in a minute.
Yes, sir.
There you go gang. She done ping like a kitten.
10:04 baby. Time to call the owner and tell them you can come and pick it up.
It's done. And it's time for me to go to Summit Racing and um get the parts for the mining collo. I need head of boots and all that stuff. Spark plugs, wires. Um, we about to get some fire in the hole. Um, tomorrow I'm going to be doing a lot of ripping and running tomorrow because I need to drop the drive shaft off, uh, the slip yolk off with the measurements and get the drive shaft cut and I'm not going to be going back to the drive shaft shop I've been using. Um because I'm not dealing with [ __ ] that uh take my business for granted. You see what I'm saying? You keep going up and up and up on the price, [ __ ] You You act like you um selling pull the high stakes over there. High ass [ __ ] dry sh. So I'm not dealing with them no more. I got another place I'm going to and if they don't do the right thing, I'm going to fire their ass, too. That's what we doing, gang. We not dealing with the uh crazy ass prices where you keep going up and up up and away. What you going to take off in the flight on the price? So, I got to switch it up, gang.
Going to a new drive shell place. Um, let me call a guy to come pick his car up so he can get to work on time. And don't try to use me for excuse talking about the mechanic had his car and trying to skip work. gang. Let me call him up um so he can get to work on time.
That's right. I'mma turn y'all back on the minute, baby. Yes, sir.
All right, gang. We done made it back from Summit, baby, as y'all can see. And um what I went and picked up was spark plug w spark plugs, spark plug wires, a slip yolk, some water pump boots. Um, we got a crank bolt here. We got our two fittings for the radiator to convert it over to A&6.
We got our two power steering pump fittings.
We got some header bolts.
Um, we got the all dip engine, all dipstick, trans dipstick.
Um, what the [ __ ] is this in this box? This a Xpipe. 3-in Xpipe. Uh, we got two baller ATK.
I think that's what they is. ATK mufflers, 3 in and six quarts of uh break and all.
Guess what, Mr. Kale? Huh? That's almost $1,400 right there on that floor. Did you account for all that small [ __ ] when you was doing when you was thinking about doing the swap? Huh, Mr. Cam? I'm just asking. Huh? Oh, you thought that, you know, the blueprint motor um is like the uh 355 or the 383 that you buy a motor, twist three wires and voila, that [ __ ] fire up. No, it don't work like that, my man. You got a lot of other [ __ ] um that go along with doing a swap. You see? Um that's the stuff I don't think you accounted for. Do you see all this stuff right here up in this engine bay on this motor? Um [ __ ] that had to be modified that ain't even done. Did you account for custom power steering lines? Um let me show you something over here. Um Mr. Kale um for this Monte Carlo.
I can go and buy um a AC line out the store. Let's take a walk over here. Mr. Kale. Huh?
These lines on your car got to be custom made. I can reuse this line. I can clean it up. But the line up there, huh?
That's got to be custom made. Mr. Kale, um, that's what it take when you got a car that everybody not doing a swap on. The companies don't make parts for them. The parts are higher. Um, and then some of them you got to fabricate and make it make a custom situation out of it, gang.
Um, that's not just for Mr. Kale. That's for any guy that's sitting at home that's watching this video and thinking, I tell my customers all the time. Um, the engine and transmission is the least of your worry.
They can give you that for free. What about all the parts that you got to um What about all the parts you got to put around that engine to make it work? See, I come and tell y'all the real deal of the situation. That way, you don't get stuck midflight and be scratching your [ __ ] head. You see, I come and tell you that in the beginning. Look, this what it's going to take. Now, these mufflers right here, they damn near $400 a piece. These two mufflers are almost 800 bucks. But guess what?
This guy went and did his research. He know exactly what he want. I said, "You sure that's what you want, Mr. Wine? The muffler's kind of not?" Nope. Mr. Miyagi, that's what I want. All right.
She I'm going go and get him. You want me to send you the money? No. Wait, cuz I need to get some other little small things and I can send you the receipt at one time, the ticket. You see? Um, but yeah gang, that's what we getting ready to do. We f to get these parts installed because we f to get fire in the hole.
Um, I'm not going back under the regal until this [ __ ] car is running.
That's when I'm going back over there by the Regal. When this car is running, I want it fired up and I want it running.
And that way I can focus on getting this situation tightened up and wrapped up and out the do because playtime is over with. I'm not doing no more [ __ ] playing. Um I'm getting out of business back to business and um I'm giving a pretty situation for the guy that appreciate the pretty situation. This not no cheap [ __ ] here, baby. This not um eBay, Amazon fitness. This not eBay Amazon sensors. Pay attention here, man.
See that? Huh?
See that? Huh? Come on over here.
See that there? Huh?
See that? You got to account for all that. You see, I ain't about to I ain't about to put all them old cheap ass sensors on the [ __ ] car. I ain't about to put all them [ __ ] cheap ass sensors on the car and um then you be calling me back um two weeks later talking about the [ __ ] all pressure gauge and [ __ ] don't want won't work. I'm not doing that.
I'm not doing that. You want that? You gotta go find uh the dope in the neighborhood to work on your [ __ ] That's what you got to go find. The man that's just trying to do the job to make him some fast money. Um and uh just get the job done. He ain't taking pride. You got to go find him cuz I ain't putting that [ __ ] on there. You see? And I don't need your money. I'mma go buy it out of my money and then send you the [ __ ] bill for it. That's how I do it. Um, and I'mma put the same [ __ ] on my coat. Same [ __ ] That's right, gang. Um, let's get this nice, pretty ceramic coated header. Look at that. See that? This man know what he wanted. He told me I want them ceramic coated. Get send them off and get them ceramic coated. You see? And that's what I did.
Sent them off, got them ceramic coated.
I ain't got the I ain't got the eBay Amazon [ __ ] wires on the man co.
See that? Let me get that out of there.
Let me get this out of here. I ain't got the um eBay, Amazon wires on here.
That's ceramic wires. You see, this ain't going to be a situation like you see on on um YouTube where the mechanic do a swap on your car. Let me take this out of here. Let me see if I can get this out of here with one hand.
You see that there? Huh? That's ceramic coated. You see, this ain't going to be the situation like you see a lot of guys on YouTube where they get the swab done and the [ __ ] wires and [ __ ] getting burnt up. This year can't burn. You see that there? That's [ __ ] ceramic.
Ain't no burning through that. You see, I'mma do the [ __ ] to where it's going to last. I'mma do it where it's going to last. And I don't want to see you back. I don't want to see you back.
So, I'mma try to do that [ __ ] right the first time every time. That way your [ __ ] ain't back over here at my shop.
I'm ready to go on to the next car. I ain't trying to see you no more cuz guess what? Everybody in favor for them old cheap ass parts until it don't work.
Then you won't p the finger at the mechanic. No, you got to take accountability for that [ __ ] because you the one brought it over there to the mechanic to put the [ __ ] on your car.
And he should have he got to take accountability too because once he seen you coming with that [ __ ] brown Amazon package, he should have slammed the door and ran your ass off. I'm closed for the day. I ain't taking no more, baby. That's right. But I'mma turn y'all back on a minute, gang. We got to get some fire in the hole on this son [ __ ] All right, gang. We back, baby. And um I done went ahead and installed the valve covers on for good.
uh went ahead and installed the beautiful ceramic header. Although I think I'mma take this header back off.
Um I think I'mma take these this header back off and go get the Vband welded on it and put a short pipe on the bottom of the header. That way I can go ahead and install the uh the wideband sensor for the Harley. Uh what else we got? Um I went ahead and installed the uh the air fittings for the power steering lines. As you can see, they on there nice and pretty. Um I also went ahead and installed the end lines for the transmission lines right here into the radiator. As you can see, um went ahead and switched out the um water pump bolts, brand new water pump bolts in there. Took the old ones out. I would have left the used ones in there, but I only had four and I needed two more and I couldn't find none. Um what I'm going to need to do now is um I'm going to have to get a adapter for this sensor. I think what I'mma do is I'm getting ready to pull a one off a radness. I probably just use that for this car to put this sense in. Um and then again, I need to check it. I'm probably going to need a adapter for it though. But I got one I'm going to take out Rad Nash cuz I ain't going to be using that um no more for the setup I'm going to be running. I'mma be using everything on the factory sensor through the Harley. Um, I'mma bring y'all that video also um of me changing the heads, installing the Harley on Radess, but um that'll be in the next couple of days.
Don't forget the giveaway for the uh membership is I'mma do it Friday, gang.
I'mma do it Friday. I don't give a damn if it's a three minute video. The giveaway going to be Friday. um for the members and then I'm going to do the giveaway on the channel sometime next week. I'm not going to tell y'all what day next week cuz right now I don't know. Um but yeah, right now um what I'm about to do is I'm about to get ready to leave. Um cuz it's getting late. Um but what we got left is a lot of wiring.
Cleaning up wires. Um, I need to put his wiring for his audio and stuff back. Um, I got that stuff just hanging back there behind the motor. I need to pick it up um and tuck it up some kind of way uh to make it nice and pretty. Uh, the guy who installed it before, he ain't do a good job of hiding the wires. But um, while we in the engine bay, we might as well go ahead and clean it up. But um, that's about it for the day. When I turn y'all back on tomorrow, we gonna put some fire in the hole on it. Um, also the wires I got from Summit. Let me get that part number so I could go back and um, double check it cuz they too long. So, I'm not going to use them to start the car cuz I'mma bring them back and replace them.
Um, but yeah, gang. Other than that, tomorrow we should have fire in the hole. I went ahead and put a fitting on the fuel line, which I'mma cut that fuel line down a little bit cuz it's a little bit too long. Um, what else we got, gang?
I need to get a gas pedal for this car, too, cuz um I got electronic throttle body um on the intake, and I also got the wire with the Harley. I'mma have to get a gas pedal uh for this car before I can fire it up.
So, look like I'm going have to make another trip back to Summit to get this gas pedal. Um I'mma probably need two of them cuz I think I'm going to run a drive by wire on Rat Nest as well. Um but we almost there gang. Either way, we going to get some fire in the hole on it. In this video, I'mma have to wake up early, run the summit, get a gas pedal. Also, I need to get a filler neck. I need to get a fiddle neck for the valve cover. As you can see, need to get a filler neck for that. And um other than that, we ready to rock and roll, baby. I'mma um pull his intake up tomorrow so I could put new gaskets on the seal because I just had the valid cover kind of mocked up. I had my plate on the engine. So, I'mma pull that intake back off. That's why I didn't bolt it down. Intake not tight. It's just sitting there. Um I'mma pull that up, put new gaskets under the val um valid cover. I already got the gaskets.
And when I pull that up, I'mma go ahead and pop in the um G GM oil pressure sensor. Um and we gonna get this old LS3 ready to rock and roll, baby. She back in service. That's right. They put her out of service for a little while, but old Mr. Miyagi got a hold of it and shook it back. And now she ready to go back in service, gang. But enough talking. It's time for me to go. Um, I'mma turn y'all back on in a couple of seconds and we going to finish doing what we was doing and we going to get some fire in the hole. Um, on old man Ko baby. We got to get out this spot. She going to move under own power out of this spot right here. Yes, sir.
All right, gang. We back. And um, what I done did is I pulled the intake off. Um, y'all remember how Mr. wine. Um, audio wires was up high against the back of the firewall. So, what I did now with the audio wires is I put them down in these connectors. Um, I might have one laying around. Let me see what the hell I did with them. Here go one right here. I got one left, but I put it in these connectors, his audio wires.
Um, I tucked them up out of the way of the shifter. As you can see, I tucked them away from the shifter. Um, I ran around the back of the motor. Uh, I got another one way back there down behind the firewall.
Y'all probably can see it in the dark right there, but it screwed down against the firewall.
Um, I brought them under the AC box and set one of his fuse blocks right here. I was going to put them side by side and I might still do that because the other one is right here. And in order to access the fuse, you would have to take out the uh overflow bottle. So, what I might do is I might just back this up right there. Um, get it off here. extend this wire for this one cuz I already got extend the one from this fuse block because this [ __ ] was just kind of hanging back there. But as you can see, I done went ahead and cleaned all them wires up for his lights and all this [ __ ] what he got up in here. Um, hooked up the pressure switch. I got the compressor wire right there. Got all the wires inside for the Holly. And now I got this one more wire back here. I can't remember. I think it was a hot.
But I might have to extend that to where I can reach the battery now since I done tucked all this [ __ ] back up under here as you can see out the way and make it a pretty situation. Gang, we got old Chicago shorted and walked up over here um with his medicine in his hand, gang.
You can smell him before he even get out the car. But that's where we at now. I need to um pull this valid cover up, put some new gaskets under it. Um put the rest of the bolts in it. Put the steam pull block off back in the back of the heads. And then um I can go ahead and put fire in the hole. It's taking me a little time because I got some other [ __ ] that I'm trying to get taken care of as well. Um, I also need to run the throttle cable wire cuz I think I'mma go ahead and do this car um drive by wire because I already got the wire in the box for the Holly. So, I might as well just add in the pedal. Um, because either way, I'mma be in a situation where I got to spin because the intake already got um the drive by wire throttle body. So if I don't use it, I'm going to have to buy drive by cable drive to buy it. So I might as well roll what we already got, gang. So that's where we at. I done forgot the gaskets. I got to go pick up the gaskets and the pedal and run the wire and then I should be ready to crank this thing up, gang. I'mma turn y'all back on a minute, baby.
All right, gang. We back. Um, I was getting ready to roll out, but um, Chicago got something he want to show y'all, man. Let's take a walk outside.
See what he got going on here.
What you got going on here? What you want to show him, man?
>> By Chevy. This the one you This the one he had out there um in front the shop inside the shop anyway, a few months ago. Um, he done got it squared away.
Um, what that is? 62.
>> Yeah, >> 62 L86 with a 8-speed in it. Um, stock, no cam. The customer wanted to go back with it stock just how it come. Um, what kind of accessories drive you got on there? You don't want to tell them?
>> CVF. CVF accessory drive. Um, basically just a stock 62, six-speed, I mean 8-speed, no converter.
Give y'all a look up under the car. Let y'all see how it's looking. Nice and clean under there. Um, professional exhaust job, long tube headers. Got a 3-in all the way out dump. Well, it's dump 3in dump with a Xpipe.
Go ahead, fire it up for them, man. Let them get a little let them get a little little listen at what they doing cuz they got them on there talking about they the best swappers and all this [ __ ] and they still messing with See that gang.
Purr like a kitten, baby.
F like a kitten.
Ox police call, baby. Now it's ready to get in a high-speed chase. Now it's ready. It's ready to get in the highspeed chase.
Y'all see it? Old by Chevy. Um the swap is done.
Think he going to bring it by Justin.
let Justin put a tune in it for him and um send it on back to the customer and whatever he going to do with it. Only time will tell. Um I'm guessing he going to take it and paint it and put some wheels and all that on there.
A lot of guys be asking about the 8-speed um situation.
They had to cut the flow open and um raise the metal up in the tunnel. He put a heat shield over that, but the flow been welded is not a situation where the man just put a piece of tape over the hole. And I don't want y'all to think the man just butchered.
That's metal welded up under there. Um he done painted put a little paint under there to cover it up, but it been welded. They had to uh open the tunnel up to fit the 8-speed in. Um, I had a guy the other day, he asked me about a box Chevy basically with the same setup. And um, uh, he wanted to know if, uh, it'll fit in a box Chevy. And I told him the flow got to be cut and opened up and add some metal in it. He said, "Well, how it fit in my G body, a Malibu, but it don't want to fit in a in a box Chevy." That's because the box Chevy, although the car is bigger, the flow is more shallow. The tunnel is more shallow. So, the transmission don't fit. Um, this 8-speed will fit in a um Gbody just like the six-speed. I'm not sure about a 10-speed cuz I never tried one. Uh, but it probably will fit too cuz the six-speed, 8-speed, and 10-speed, the transmission is about the same size. We put put them on the floor and measured the height and all that [ __ ] and it was about the same size. But there y'all go. Chicago shorted and knocked out the [ __ ] um L86 and 8-speed. He got a few little knickknacks to button up >> and um the box Chevy going on home and down the road the [ __ ] away from here just like all the rest of them do. Um, so for the guys that think they the best swappers, we might just um retire from LS swaps, >> start doing >> just start doing LT swaps, you know, 2025, 2026.
Um, what that new motor they got is a LT6 or 7 some [ __ ] >> LT7.
>> Yeah, we'll just start putting them in the trunk of these [ __ ] >> and make a spaceship.
>> Oh, we we'll make a real mount motor.
[ __ ] a uh mid mount. We'll go ahead and just start doing um rear mount mount that [ __ ] in the in the trunk and hook the uh we'll hook the uh the uh flex plate right up to the ren on the [ __ ] Soon as you start it up, that [ __ ] just take off.
>> Put the whole whole drivetrain in.
>> Hell yeah. But that's all I got for y'all for now, gang. Um, I just wanted to show y'all that that [ __ ] getting done around here and it's not just a situation um where a [ __ ] talking. Now, if they won't get do get get with you to do a swap, then what they how they could get in touch with you cuz you ain't got no YouTube.
>> Yeah, I do got YouTube.
>> Huh?
>> Swapped by Vase. Swapped by Vase. V O SS.
>> Oh, what about Facebook?
>> Facebook. Uh, Dvar Harris. D A V A R E S Harris.
>> Hey, they all go gang. Y'all want to get up with Chicago shorty? Um, he done just gave y'all the information how to catch up with him. Um, old Mr. Miyagi about to go pick these gas pedals up um for Mr. Wine Co. and the other one for Rat Ness um before they leave on me and I can't pick them up to the mall. I'mma turn y'all back on in a minute.
All right, gang. We didn't got to the shop um extra early this morning. Um because we need to get the Cadillac done today and also we need to get fire in the hole on the Monte Carlo. I need to make a run the Summit and pick up a couple of parts. I got the gas pedal for Mr. Wine car in the truck. Um I went ahead and painted uh the AC box as you can see. went ahead and put a little paint on there. Got it looking nice and pretty. Um, but right now what I'm doing is uh we did the brakes on the Cadillac. We did a tuneup on it and my guy told me his AC wasn't working. Um, so when he said his AC wasn't working, meaning no air was coming from the vents. Uh, but when I turn the AC on, I can hear the clutch under the hood engaging. So, I told him, I said, "You don't need a your AC. Ain't nothing wrong with your AC system. Um, your blower motor not working." So, I had to pull a glove box down, take all this [ __ ] out the way. And now, um, my guy, he got a situation where his blower motor working. as you can see.
See what I'm saying? And um now he ain't got to be hot. Uh he ain't got to be hot um on his way to work. He can ride in comfort. Um that way he can go make his money so he can get that old OBS truck swap gang. So, let me go ahead and put his uh blower mode in, get everything back together, and call him up and let him know, hey, man, it's time to come get it. Your brakes ain't squeaking.
Your car ain't misfiring no more. Your AC working, and it's a pretty situation, and it's not a old school. See, I told y'all I do it all. Don't matter what it is, long as you got the money to pay me, baby. You see what I'm saying? So, we going to get this squared away. And um I'mma turn y'all back on a minute. By then the traffic should been going to die down and I can head over to the summit, baby. Up early in the morning, baby. That's right.
All right, gang. We back, baby. And um we got we got cold, baby. Y'all hear that? Blow a motor. Blow motor.
um blower motor uh blowing nice and hard. Y'all hear that? Here when I turned it up this, huh? See that? That's what you call a pretty situation.
That's what you call a pretty situation.
Um, now my boy, he can um, now my boy, he can roll the windows up and recline that seat up in this old Cadillac and, um, be posed up here. Posed up in this old Cadillac like a cold pimp in here, baby.
That's right. But, um, enough talking about the Cadillac. The job is done. You see what I'm saying? The job is done. I can make content on all different kind of [ __ ] I do like four jobs on modern vehicles a week and don't even show it.
There's a lot of [ __ ] I don't show y'all. But um you got to think about what you're saying. Um think about some of the stuff you're saying before you say it because you got to be a gangster in this game.
You can't just um know how to [ __ ] with a carburetor, know how to [ __ ] with a LS. You got to know how to [ __ ] with and master all that [ __ ] See what I'm saying? Like old Mr. Miyagi, baby. See, you got to come with your a game on when you think you can [ __ ] with me. Cuz not only can I fix the problem, I know how to diagnose the problem. See, when you don't understand how [ __ ] work, how can you fix it, gang? That's right. But um we about to go ahead and uh finish getting our wiring done. Um I'mma go ahead and pull this compressor off so I can have nice good access um to my fuse block and I can I don't know. I might leave that [ __ ] on there.
I might not take it off. I might leave it on there um and work around it. But I need to get these wires on. I'm still waiting on this [ __ ] crank sensor from Summit. Um, I need to check this motor over here, man. [ __ ] Summit pissing me off. Uh, I need to see if I got a crank sensor in this motor over here. That's right. Back again. Robbing my own car.
Nope. They ain't got no crank sensor in there either. Oh, it do got one in there. Let's see.
cuz I don't think I got no bolt in it, gang. So, I should just be able to pull it out of here.
There we go. Right there. Crank sensor.
Um, we need to go ahead and put this in Mr. Wine Co. so in case the crank sensor don't get here in time, I can be I can be able to fire it up. I'mma go ahead and install this crank sensor. Um, I'mma install a knock sensor. I'mma have to drop this starter back down. And then I'mma put this header on here. I'mma take this header off the passenger side.
Um, I'mma take this header off the passenger side, off the driver's side. Um because I need to uh I'mma go get that I'mma go get that um I'm going to go get that Vband welded on there so I could run that wideband sensor so when I crank it up I can kind of get a little tune in it. It ain't running uh all wacky because it ain't reading no AFR. to let me pull that stuff off, get that done, and then I'mma turn y'all back on a minute cuz we still got to go to Summit and pick up the filler neck for the all. And then we need to pick up the bracket for the gas pedal. Um, we need to pick up the bracket for the gas pedal. I got the gas pedal in the truck. And we need to exchange those spark plug wires cuz they too long. So, we got a lot of [ __ ] to do today, but I'm going to get it running today for y'all. That's right.
All right, gang. We back for one second.
I just wanted to turn y'all back on and show y'all something real quick. This right here, um, I'm getting ready to run throttle by wire on this Harley. This This right here is the harness for the gas pedal.
And it also runs to the throttle body.
Um, this uh this uh this harness right here. And I'm looking at the ends on it because this a [ __ ] new harness. Um kind of look like it might have been tappled with, but I guess that's how it come. I haven't paid too much close attention, but I'mma put some tape on the end of this um so you can't see that [ __ ] under the hood. But um this red and white wire right here um this what you put on there if you want if you got your kid and you got a Harley on the car and you don't want his ass out there doing donuts. If you hook this red and white wire up to key on power, that [ __ ] will not burn rubber if you hold the brakes in the gas. And um matter of fact, I want to this the brake switch wire.
It's a it's like a safety feature um on the Harley. This wire here, don't hook it up. Um just clip it off. Put a little heat shrink or something on it. If you hook it up, the [ __ ] car will not burn rubber if you holding the brakes.
Um, I'm telling you that now. Uh, you can follow the direction that highly tell you, you better listen to me. Um, or you'll find out. I'm about to cut it off. And for the ones that's in the comment that think they got all the sense, that like to follow directions, you see what I'm doing right there? Buy that [ __ ] never burn rubber if you hold the brakes and hook that wire there. Um, I'm about to go ahead and run that hornage inside the engine bay. Um, it's going to be a [ __ ] now because I forgot that I had ordered a drive by wire kit for this car and I done already put all the wires through. So now it's going to be kind of rough getting that wire um to come through. I'm just going to put a heat shrink on it and tape it to the harness so it won't uh touch nothing or nothing like that. That's going to be hid up under the dash where you can't even see it. Um just a little tip I'm giving y'all. Don't hook that red and white wire up on the one from the throttle pedal or else you gonna be mad when the [ __ ] don't do what you wanted to do. I'mma turn y'all back on a minute, baby. That's right. We moving and grooving.
All right, gang. We back. And um what I done did is I done went ahead and um added the the throttle uh harness for the throttle body. I went ahead and added that. I went ahead and wired in the main uh harness wires for the Harley to the battery cables. Um, also inside the car, I done went ahead and uh wired in the highlight. Clean most of the wires up. Um, this the other end of my Let's see what we got here. I don't want to sit on nothing and break it. But this the other end of the wires for the throttle body. Um, I done wired in the Harley already. Um, I got the ECU up under the dash. Um, that's wired in and ready to go. Uh, now what I have to do is I need to wire in my harness um for the AC and also I need to wire in the harness for the fans. Um, need to wire in the harness for the fans. And uh that's almost about it. Uh I'm going to have to pull that auto meat out so I can hook the tag wire up to it. Let me go on the other side of the cup cuz Mr. Wine got that old tent on there, baby. Got that old tent. And um it's kind of dark in there. I got the light outside the car. Um, I need to uh pull that auto meter out. I need to pull that auto meter out and um I need to pull the auto meter out and hook up the tag wire to it. Um I'm going I'm going wind up having to run a GPS on here to get the speed. Um, I don't think autometer have like a BIM module to connect with the Holly. Um, so I can hook everything else up. Uh, tag voltage. In fact, the voltage and stuff like that probably working right now.
You hear the fuel pump.
Fuel pump coming on. Um, it's reading the voltage.
Um, the temp the temp and the all. I'mma have to run a wire out there. I think the guy before that hooked this dash up, I think what he did is he wired this autometer into the factory um sending unit wire. I want to say that's I think that's what he did cuz I didn't see a wire um running outside the car um to the auto meter. So, what I'm thinking he might have did. I'm thinking he might have wired in the temp and the oil to the existing wire for the auto meter.
I'm not sure. I'mma just pull it out and run some wires out under the hood for it. Um, as you can see, the highlight on there lit up. Um, I need to finish connecting the wires. I need to connect the brake switch wire. Um, what else? I need to connect the brake switch, the tack, and then my AC wires.
So, right now, what I'm getting ready to do is old Mr. Miyagi been busting ass since early this morning. Um, trying to get all this stuff wired up is a real tedious job. Um, trying to tuck all those wires in and make it look pretty.
Um, but for the most part, we got it done. Uh, I got maybe about three, four wires I need to run.
And, um, we should be ready to fire it up. Um, Justin just called me and told me they shipped my sensor over there by his shop. [ __ ] dumb ass. After I told them where to ship it, they already [ __ ] up when I went to the store to pick the [ __ ] up. Then they [ __ ] up again and shipped it to the wrong spot.
So they done [ __ ] up all around the board, gang. But that's neither here or there, gang. This is where we at. Um, I need to put the bolts in for the intake. But before I put the bolts in, I need to go ahead and change the valid cover gasket, put the new gasket on there. Um, I think I'mma Well, I think what I'mma do is I'mma just wait uh before I get the Vband welded on because this extra one I had laying right here is different. It's not going to work with the other one that I with the other half that I got. So, I guess I'm going to have to wait to get the wait till I get the go to get the exhaust done and just let him weld a Vband um to the header then. And I'm just going to have to pull it up on the trailer without it having a wide band since then. But cuz I'm I'm not going to waste money buying another Vband just to get half of it and then don't use the other half like the one I got sitting right there on that box. That's what I did with that. Um, when I put that short pipe on the other motor, um, he wind up cutting it back off of there. So, that's where we at, gang. I'm about to go get me something to eat. When I come back, I'mma change the um I'mma change the uh valid cover gasket, put the intake back on, and we should be ready to put some fire in the hole, baby. That's right.
I'mma turn y'all back on a minute. Yes, sir. All right, gang. We back. And um this what I'mma do. Uh I'mma go ahead and shut it down for the day.
Um because they done screwed me around with this crank sensor. Um I don't want to put that used crank sensor in Mr. Wine Co.
and then got to pull all the [ __ ] back loose to put the new one in because Justin haven't made it over here yet. I don't know why they shipped the [ __ ] sensor over there, but that's what they did. So, um, what I'mma do is I'mma wrap the video up. That'll give me time to run the summit and grab a uh adapter for the alternator, the uh charging wire. Um, I can pick up some new uh valley cover bolts, put the gasket on, and also I can go ahead and pick up a filler neck um in a oil cap for this engine, gang.
That's what I'mma do instead of working to working backwards because I need to drop the starter down and get the crank sense in and I need the header on to start the car up else it's going to shoot flames all over under the hood and burn up the pretty situation. So, I'mma just go get the parts later on tonight.
Um cuz Justin probably ain't going to get over here to this evening. He coming from way on the other side of Dallas.
But in the meantime and in between time, what I'm about to do is I'm about to change the spark plugs in little heavy.
Look at this, Mr. Kale. Let me show you this, Mr. Kale. Look at that. Y'all see that? Huh? That's the mechanic spoke plugs how they looking. You see old Mr. Miyagi working on everybody else [ __ ] Look at that. Them [ __ ] done been in that [ __ ] 100,000 miles. Um, I put these plugs in there right before I did my DOD delete and um, I reused them after that. I didn't even change them.
Then I did a DOD delete and stuck these plugs right back in. They got over 100,000 miles on them. And like I say, I put my [ __ ] last um to try to get the customer the s pretty situation that they looking for. Um me myself, I don't really worry about the pretty situation.
Um I'm not in a rush. I'm not in a race.
I done had a bunch of [ __ ] cars. And to be honest, once I build them, after a couple of months, I'm bored with them and I'm ready to do something else. So, I'm not one of these guys that's overly excited to get that [ __ ] in traffic.
Um, as you can see, I leave ratness sitting at the house. I barely drive it.
Um, I spend more time taking [ __ ] loose and putting [ __ ] back on it than I drive it. But that's just how I am. That's me.
Um, but don't forget to like, share, comment, and subscribe. Share the video.
Hit that hype button. the giveaway cam giveaway on Friday for the members. Um, and I'mma do the cam I'mma do the cam kit giveaway.
The cam kit giveaway. It's Friday for the members and sometime next week I'mma get a cam away on the channel. It's simple gang. Um, it's Willie Rebuild telling you, um, I'm about to get these spark plugs chained on little heavy and, um, I'm going inside early. You see that kale? The sun still out. I don't get paid to stay in this [ __ ] to 11:00 at night. So, I'm going home. That's right.
I'mma turn y'all back on. I'mma see y'all on the next one. Me and old Heavy going inside early, baby. That's right.
