So, this is a band that I would, you know, I didn't even complain about spending hundreds of pounds just to see them for. Uh, so without further ado, I'm sure I'm going to enjoy this one. We have an album coming out. Uh I think uh September the 4th I think it was. Uh somebody correct me if I'm wrong down in the comments below. Um but we have an album coming. I think it's called uh Blood of the Empire or something. Sorry, I'm doing this by memory.

[00:03:22]I was just talking in another reaction that I recorded today about how people used to think that nostalgia was a sickness. They used to see it and treat it as a sickness because you shouldn't you shouldn't be looking looking back that far. You know, it will make you mentally ill.

[00:03:43]That could be that could be a a relationship, but it also could be his relationship with with faith, you know, with God ascending like butterflies, which would assume that that we are in a a completely different state of evolution because we used to be caterpillars, you know, now we're ascending like butterflies.

[00:04:05]Or it's the ascension meaning that you have to become something else. You have to break free from the mold of what you are or what you started as. You have to break free from that in order to ascend and become something else.

[00:07:01]You know, I feel that we're in a bit of a doom loop. You ever feel like you're in a doom loop? I do. wake up at 6, try and get to work for 7 so I can finish at 5 and have, you know, half an hour, maybe an hour with my kids. You know, it's not how I want to be living life.

Now we chase the only thing that numbs the pain. Begging for a tight news. We're just in a doom loop. Maybe this perhaps this is this is speaking on being middle-aged, you know. And I would say this is this is probably something that you you might come into contact with maybe 50 and over when you're starting to to come to the the realization that your body isn't what it used to be and never will be that again. You know, I feel like in your 30s, 40s, you may be able to reverse time a bit and still get some of that flexion back. You know, start doing stretches early in the morning. Last thing you do before you go to bed, do some stretches. And you might be a bit mobile in your 40s and 50s, but after that, you know, you you start to think, right, I need to start looking after my body. I need to start sitting still more. Days dissolving in slow decay.

[00:09:07]You might feel like, damn, I don't have any purpose. Get yourself out in the garden. Go pot some plants. Find out which ones are seasonal. Do it properly.

So, they're saying if if you're going to crucify me, I can't be where I can't be on that cross like Jesus was. You're going to have to make a a lower one for me cuz I'm not I'm not as good, you know. But shame is not enough for me to become any better. Oh, fuck.

[00:15:23]It's always a very cathartic experience listening to their stuff. For me personally, I I haven't heard a bad song.

[00:15:48]But that was kind of like Fearless. Um, I liked Rage and Fearless, but they didn't really hit me on the first time like uh In the Name of Your Father.

[00:16:11]But this one, too, you know, I like the message of this. Um, I feel like with with with a lot of President stuff I feel it going to that like that state of I kind of know what's coming, you know, even with the the kind of synth bit where a lot of the instrumentation was stripped away and then it comes back again. I get that you don't want to, you know, you don't want to try and reinvent the wheel, but um it's gonna I mean, if this continues, it's going to be harder for them to to wow me in particular. Just being selfish, of course, it's only my opinion, but it's going to be harder for them to wow me if they're doing the same thing. They're going to have to bring new synths into it. They're going to have to bring new methods of stripping away that instrumentation.

[00:16:59]Perhaps leaving the high hats in there or leaving a bit of the crash in the symbol, leave some things in there or do that and then have a have a lot of echo and reverb or just the reverb and have like I there's there's so many things that you could do. It just feels like they're doing the the same thing quite a lot, you know? Um but there there are a lot of ways that they could go with it. So, I'm I'm hoping that that they do that, you know. Um, you know, play with that. Even play with the trelo, you know, do what you're doing. Doom Loop. It was It's a banger. I'm obviously It's going on the playlist. I'm obviously going to listen to it again. And when they start uh start touring, I believe that they did um they did uh live shows with Bad Omens, I think. Um, I think it was Bad Omens. I think they have the same management, so you know, it makes sense.

[00:17:58]Um, but you know, if they if there's any shows that are going to be in the UK, then uh I want to go to them. Um, I am actually signed up for their their president uh email list or whatever it is, but they they just send things to let us know that stuff's coming out. So, I knew that this was coming out. Got here within half a day of it being out.
