[00:00:10]Today, y'all have been eating up this signs he likes you series. And so, today I thought, what could I do next? Signs he likes you but is trying not to. Because love is complicated, okay? And even if a guy does have feelings for you, sometimes they try not to, which is really juicy and interesting. You guys know I'm here to be your bestie through the screen. [00:00:40]Also, don't mind me. I will be putting on makeup because I'm going to a Charlotte Tilbury event right after this and I'm so freaking excited. Anyway, I feel like a lot of the times guys actually will freak themselves out and try not to like you even if they have feelings because feelings are terrifying. And I've definitely been in situations where I meet a guy and I'm like, "We have such good chemistry. This should be working and it's just not."

[00:01:05]Um, and so if you're feeling like that, there's a chance that he's just in his head about it. And so I just want to tell you guys some niche signs that I found through living life that he does like you, okay? but he's just terrified and scared. [00:01:34]I'll link it down below. Anyway, let's get into it. Oh my gosh, this is such a good one. Okay. The first sign is if he starts to act like different when it's just you two. But then when you're around other people, he acts like super chill. Like just a super chill guy. Like he tries to be nonchalant when there's other people around. But when it's just you two, you see this like soft, sweet side to him. I cannot tell you how many times that's happened to me. Um, it's so disheartening because it's like, okay, I'm here and I can be the same no matter who's around. But if a guy's acting like that, it's definitely a sign that he's like a little bit fearful, a little bit scared because if he can't act the same around you, no matter who's there, it's just a little weird. And I know why they do it. Psychologically, I think a guy thinks that if he starts acting a certain way, when other people can see it, it becomes a lot more real. Okay.

[00:02:30]But when you guys are alone, like he can enjoy the vibe because there's no consequences to that. And so it's just a really big sign how someone treats you when there's other people around, you know? And I want you guys to just be careful of that because if a guy is not able to act the same if there's other people around and he's only sweet when it's just the two of you, that is like a road to getting hurt, okay? Because it means he's not completely sure of himself. He might be like a little bit insecure. I don't know what it is that's making him act different, but a person should act the same with you regardless of who's around. Okay, bestie boo. So, it's just a sign of like hesitation.

[00:03:11]And honestly, it's a sign that he's trying not to embrace his feelings.

[00:03:16]Another sign, oh, this one's so big, and I hear this all the time. I hear this all the time from you guys, is if he acts cold after you guys have a really nice moment together. So you guys might have like a really good day where you're like flirting or like he's giving you good signs that he's like kind of more interested and he's just kind of like being a lot more relationshipy, giving you good like signals that it's going in a good direction and then right after that it like spirals backwards and he kind of like takes it back and he's like awkward around you or cold around you.

[00:03:50]That's a sign that he's like literally trying to deny his feelings because obviously you guys have a connection. if there's a good moment in the first place, there's a connection, right? But it sounds to me like if that happens, he's trying to like get out of it almost like he's trying to like take it back or like downplay it or be like, "No, like it's actually not like that." When it is, but to me, it just sounds like a guy that is running away from how he feels.

[00:04:17]You know, because I've definitely met guys like that where we have like a good day together and then it's like crickets or it it takes a step back and like we have to like kind of restart and I don't know, that's just like not the best situation because I don't know. I feel like people like that are just constantly going to disappoint you. like you're getting your hopes up every time you guys have a good experience together and then they get cold with you and it's like okay like what am I supposed to do with that?

[00:04:47]And it sucks, bestie. I get it because I've definitely had crushes where we have really good moments together and then it kind of flip-flops and it's like you just at the end of the day, you need to be with someone who's stable and values you and values your heart and playing games like that is just like scary. It's just like you can't really trust how that person's going to be. And that's why I don't really love that for you. Oh, this is a good one. If he watches your stories kind of instantly, but then he takes forever to respond to you on text, that is such a sign because honestly, if you didn't care, like if he like really truly was like whatever about it, he probably would respond to you pretty quickly. Like when I don't care about something, I'm like free-for-all. I'm like whatever. I'll text whatever. I'll be extra silly. Like when I don't like someone, I'm like so unfiltered. So, if a guy is like watching your story, but then he's not texting you back, um, he's probably like literally thinking to himself like, "What do I I don't want to mess this up.

[00:05:49]Like, what do I say? I need to wait a little longer." Like, I don't know. It's just a sign that he's like watching. And then if he doesn't respond, it's cuz he's overthinking, you know? Cuz if you don't really care or like if you're just buddies with someone, you kind of respond right away and you don't really care what you sound like. But if you like someone, you're going to be way more like careful about the text you send. So yeah, I just think that that's such a sign is if he's like not really replying right away, but he's watching you. And I've had this happen to me. There was like a time period, oh my gosh, there was this one guy I dated where when we broke up, he would continue to watch my stories for like a year straight, but he would never reach out to me over text. And like not only that, oh, he didn't follow me. That was the crazy part. So this guy would literally like he unfollowed me, but then he would watch my stories multiple times a day. And so any in any case, if a guy is like keeping tabs on you, he's not over it. Okay, clearly. And if he's like waiting to respond to text, but he watches your stories a lot or he's like the first one to watch your story, I mean, like he clearly cares. You know what I mean? So, I think that's a pretty clear sign. I really like this blush.

[00:07:17]Okay, basically, if he says he doesn't care who you talk to, but then when someone else comes up, the vibe switches.

[00:07:26]Like, I'm sorry. It's so obvious. Like sometimes guys will like try to throw you off the track by being like, "No, I don't care what you do. I don't care who you talk to." But if you notice you bring someone else up and they're weird.

[00:07:40]Like I don't know. That's just kind of like giving yourself away a little bit in a way. Um I need more mascara. I need more mascara. Like a guy can say he doesn't care, but if the vibe switches when someone else comes up or he's like extra chill about it, he's like I don't care who you talk to. Like that's so and he tries to make fun of you for like another guy being involved. Like if another guy comes up and he starts to be like really okay with it and really jokey, that feels like overcompensating to me. Like I that's happened to me recently where like I've had this like situationship for a while and I mentioned someone else because this guy's like I don't care who you talk to.

[00:08:24]I don't care what you do. So, I mentioned someone else and like someone else flirting with me and he's almost like joking about it a ton. Like loved it. That feels like overcompensating to me. But also, if they say they don't care, but then their vibe gets a little bit weird, like they're a little too jokey about it or they get quiet, I feel like that's a sign because like any emotional reaction means they care, you know? Like if he truly didn't care, he'd kind of just be like, "Okay, like indifferent." But it just feels a little off to me. Like a guy can literally say he doesn't care, but if his vibe switches at all, I don't know. That's my opinion on that. Okay, this one's huge.

[00:09:03]If he acts like you're just a friend, but then he treats you different than every other girl he knows. That like dude, I just feel like he likes you, but he is trying to not like you.

[00:09:17]Like he's trying to force himself not to. You know what I mean? Because if he genuinely sees you like everyone else, he's going to treat you like everyone else. But if you feel like you guys have like a different vibe when you're together, that's different than like anyone else he talks to, it's a pretty good sign that like he doesn't look at you like everyone else because actions will always speak louder than what they say to you. Like he can say anything he wants, right? But if he's acting weird around you or treats you different than other girls, you know that you're not just someone else to him. Like there's something else there.

[00:09:49]there's some kind of like chemistry there and that could be a sign that he's just trying to like avoid it, you know?

[00:09:55]Another sign is if he wants to know like weird details, like if he just like is so nosy about your life and like little details. Um, yeah, bestie. Guys aren't just like that with anybody like that.

[00:10:06]He probably does have feelings, but like if he's trying to downplay it or be chill about it or like find out stuff about you through other people, he cares. He cares and he's trying not to. And that is just like so freaking obvious to me. Oh my gosh, this Kosis highlighter is beautiful. It's like pink and it's making my cheeks look so cute, but it's like very natural. I like it. I just want to say, bestie, if you're a girl with a big heart, which you probably are if you're following and you're watching this, that is me, okay?

[00:10:37]And when you fall for people like this, it's really painful because you have a big heart. And I know you want to give that to someone fully, but if someone is like hesitating on showing you they like you or they're trying to be like super chill about it, I promise you, bestie, you do not want someone who's going to be nonchalant about you, okay? You want someone who's going to be borderline insane about you. And um yeah, I just don't want you guys to settle because it's you will come across people that you have chemistry with, but those people are not always going to be the best for you. Just because you have chemistry with a guy does not mean he's going to treat you like he should and does not mean that you should settle for him. Because honestly, like it's so tempting because chemistry is so fun and you're like, "Wait, I get along with him better than I get along with anyone."

[00:11:29]And it's so tempting to just like pursue that. But if a guy feels a connection with you and runs from it or tries to act chill about it, like I just don't want you guys to fall into the trap of like giving that person all your time and energy because truly they don't deserve it. A guy should be working to get to know you and he shouldn't want to be nonchalant. He should want to be with you openly and explore that. And I just feel like when guys are liking you but they try not to, it's because they're insecure about themselves or they're just like scared. But bottom line, guys like that will tend to hurt you. Okay? Because if they don't know what they want for themselves, like they are not going to be able to lead you in a relationship. Like you know what I mean? I just feel like we have to be putting our trust in people who are open and willing to be vulnerable with their emotions. Uh because that's what you deserve. So, I just wanted to say that and I just don't want you guys to be settling in your relationships because your relationship is going to be such a big part of your life. And um yeah, I love you bestie boos.
