Anthropic Claude SpaceX Partnership (AI Builder Update)

[00:00:00]Anthropics just a few minutes ago announced a massive compute upgrade in the form of a deal with a partnership agreement together with SpaceX. In today's video, I want to kind of walk you through what it really means for anthropic for us AI builders and also maybe as a side note for SpaceX as well.

[00:00:16]So what is it actually is happening?

[00:00:17]This is literally brand new knowledge and I'm just going to quickly walk you through this particular blog post once again displayed on the anthropic website today the 6th of May and ultimately what us AI builders can expect is substantial increase on compute. If you're an AI builder and or you're leveraging for example cloud code, cloud co-work, you're using dispatch and or maybe you even have some managed agents already up and running. Something more than often that you were experiencing is that Enthropic might have a highly capable model. They have a highly capable infra team, but ultimately they were computed.

[00:00:52]They simply didn't have the compute to serve all these customers. There's even rumors floating around that they didn't really release Mythos into the broader public, not from a cyber threat or cyber security component perspective, but ultimately because they simply well didn't have to compute to serve that new model series. This might change quite substantially again, we've been just been learning this just a few minutes ago that with this new deal again by SpaceX providing them with new compute capabilities, they're ultimately enabling us AI builders more than probably everybody else. really an upgrade in terms of how we interact with cloud code for example how we can actually also well just be benefiting from all these new compute capabilities.

[00:01:33]I think of course the overarching thing and the overarching theme was always that I think quite recently it became apparent that if you were running for example nightlong tasks like I've been running for the last few weeks almost consistently every single night before I go to bed I delegate a bunch of actions a bunch of analysis work to clothe co-work andor to my clothes code setup and but what happened more than than less at least at the beginning was really it it just didn't work anymore like there was was constraints of course I was using my max token so I'm having the $200 per month subscription far faster than I used to at in the early days of for example March so going into April and now into May I personally from a business perspective but also personal user perspective I've been witnessing this compute constraint quite substantially so it's certainly something I've been really truly looking forward that they're upgrading their compute stack and this is exactly what we are learning now from well just this announcement that we've received a few minutes ago what it actually really means again in practice is ultimately you have more access or pretty much probably a similar access that you used to have in maybe Feb and March before all this crazy frenzy of course with all the new products anthropic is shipping and we're kind of going maybe back into more fair use of their platform instead of them kind of well reducing compute in in essence also reducing our user experience and or if you're an API user of course you might actually be less constrained on the limits But maybe before we log off just on this announcement today and I go a little bit further on the XV feed, there was one other announcement yesterday which in essence states that Anthropic is really doubling down on the financial services vertical. Without going too much into detail and without alluding to the fact that some of you in the audience AI builders are not actually producing anything in regards to financial services and you don't really have an agent product for that. If we reverse engineer just the idea that Anthropic is now fully fully integrating their LLMs, their harnesses, their context engineered systems, their eval loops into banks. I think that's kind of well really signaling that we are at an inflection point in agentic artificial intelligence that these systems holistically can run within a bank and they can essentially run with any other business that you might actually have in mind. So that being for example AI agents for sales, for marketing, for legal work and or anything in between.
