Art transforms NYC garbage trucks into mobile murals

[00:00:00]So, this is the love letter truck, and I really wanted to pay homage to the people who make the city run so smoothly, often the invisible labor of sanitation workers, and just the diverse population of who makes New York New York. And so, a lot of the stamp motifs just represent classic New York kind of moments and and visuals, and it was just a cute little pink truck just cleaning up streets of around New York.

[00:00:24]>> [laughter] >> The the goal for this program is to take our trucks, which are you know, 2,000 [music] trucks all over the streets of New York City every single day.

[00:00:34]Every New Yorker sees them, but sees them without noticing them. And to to use that as an opportunity to really connect with New Yorkers around cleanliness, around sustainability, and to highlight the work that sanitation workers are doing out there every day.
