[00:00:00]No, I think you're bringing up a very important technique that I've practiced over the years. I'm not perfect at it, but better at it. It's called as reflective listening and that's a very important skill in terms of communication. If you think about what that reflective listening is, there's a speaker, there's a listener, speaker is conveying an idea, verbal cues, but in addition to that there are non-verbal cues, you know, pauses, shifts in tone, energy, hand movement, eye gestures. as a listener when you are listening to that then you paraphrase the idea back to them it sounds like it seems like what I'm hearing so you you don't regurgitate the words back but you paraphrase it you confirm and clarify and then I think you put on a very important pin over there do not try to solve it do not at this point you are just being a sponge trying to consume their idea to understand this is what it means and then once you have understood it then the person who's conveying their idea they are more likely to hear and listen to you as opposed to interjecting.
