[00:00:00]As tensions between America and Iran continue to rise, the Strait of Hormuz is the biggest flash point between the two sides. The strategic waterway has now turned into a battle of blockades with neither side agreeing to dial back.

[00:00:14]And in the latest, Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that the US naval blockade of Iranian ports is doomed to fail as it would deepen disruptions in the Gulf and fail to achieve its objectives.

Earlier, the Treasury Secretary Scott Bassett has also said that the US blockade would choke Iranian oil industry leading to revenue losses of up to 170 million dollars per day. However, the sharp comments from the US have now received equally stern responses from the Iranian side.

[00:01:27]Iranian Navy Commander Shahram Irani, meanwhile, has shot off a warning to US saying that Tehran will soon confront its enemies with a new weapon that they deeply fear, claiming that it is already nearby. Now, this confrontation, remember, took a fresh twist today after Donald Trump shared a picture of the Strait of Hormuz calling it the Strait of Trump. He posted this image on his Truth Social account with no caption.
